Chapter Twenty-One: The Power of Extraordinary Battleships
"Even raging fire can't kill me." Pati was in a terrible state, but he still stubbornly insisted.
Furthermore, as the pain intensified, his "immortality" was stimulated. His body underwent disgusting changes.
For example, beneath his tattered, ripe flesh, appeared cloudy little eyeballs. The weak being stared at would experience dizziness and blurred vision.
"You've been corrupted by some weird evil god, haven't you?" Loya seemed to sense something when he saw this scene.
"Release the chieftain!" At this moment, the surviving ogres rushed over.
Using her innate bloodline skill, [Flame Shockwave], Loya whipped her tail, sending the ogres flying.
Even if he stood still, he could suppress such a weak cannibal.
It was clear that no monster could stop Loya, and Patty, the powerful ogre, was about to be burned to death and turned into a pile of black ash.
"Whoosh!" A green creature flew in from the depths of the distant jungle, and unfortunately, Loya was right in front of it.
Loya instinctively wanted to swat it away, but when he caught a glimpse of what the green thing was out of the corner of his eye, his little paws softened and he caught it with a deft touch.
However, the impact force carried by the other party was quite large.
Even Loya couldn't withstand it; his massive body had to retreat four or five steps.
With Loya gone, Pati will be free, won't he?
Pati was overjoyed and immediately rolled over, unleashing his dark magic in an attempt to extinguish the flames on his body.
Yes, although Loya is gone, the flames remain and stubbornly cling to Patty's body.
"Damn dragon, no one can kill me except the great true dragon Sophia!" Patty was extremely ruthless. In order to drive away the flames more quickly, he began to tear off his own flesh and throw it aside.
"Pah." Loya opened his mouth, unleashing his innate bloodline skill, [Heat Breath].
The dark red ray, seemingly transcending time, struck Patti's head.
"Bang!" The head, which should have been as hard as steel, exploded like a watermelon.
It's not over yet. Loya hasn't shut up, and the [Heat Breath] still exists.
Loya turned his head slightly, and the [heat breath] from his mouth slid like a long sword.
With two quick "plop" sounds, Pati's headless body was sliced into four pieces.
Loya shut up and turned to look at the elf in his hand.
“Raffi, you’re really pitiful,” Loya said.
That's right, the "green" thing that was thrown over was none other than Raffi, a silver-level extraordinary creature.
She looks quite miserable now, with her limbs obviously twisted and a huge gash in her thigh, revealing a broken femur, as if she had been bitten by some kind of mouth.
"Cow..." Raffi was still conscious. She opened her mouth and said with difficulty.
Actually, she was quite surprised. She had already noticed the dismembered Patty, a powerful monster comparable to Vina.
However, this monster was powerless against Loya's attacks.
“Yes, I know I’m great.” Loya smiled reservedly. “However, you don’t need to praise me at this time.”
He felt something was off.
When he had met Raffi before, he could tell that Raffi was quite serious. He never expected that Raffi would praise him at this moment.
"This is a hypocritical and two-faced woman," Loya thought to himself, giving Raffi her assessment.
"Uh." Upon hearing this, Raffi was shocked. She rolled her eyes at Loya and fainted.
"Sister Raffi, how are you?" Linman ran over.
“She’s in your hands now.” Loya handed Raffi to Linman.
"Thank you." Linman sincerely thanked him. She could tell that if Loya hadn't used his skill to catch Raffi or dodged her earlier, Raffi would have definitely crashed into the obstacle.
Given Lafite's current condition, he would definitely be killed in the crash.
“You’re welcome, we’re allies,” Loya said meaningfully.
Actually, upon closer reflection, Loya realized that being an ally of the elven tribe was a bit of a loss.
Because the Elven tribes were a huge sitting duck, with too many enemies.
"Perhaps it would be easier if I secretly slipped into the water and ran away myself."
A very immoral thought popped into Loya's mind.
But then he remembered the "resources" he had obtained from the elven tribe.
"Fine, I was a demigod-level wizard in my past life, I have to maintain some dignity. How can I abandon the elven tribe so easily when they haven't betrayed me?"
Loya adjusted his mindset.
Distracted, Loya manipulated the flames that accompanied him, continuing to roast Patti's body.
Although the body had been dismembered, upon closer inspection, Kroya noticed that Patti's flesh was slightly wriggling.
Perhaps, if left unchecked and given enough time, this guy will return to normal.
“Gilmakarsha, Sophie Jinfei Mala Sha…” A strange and inexplicable soft murmur echoed from Pati’s location.
A sinister and malevolent aura, visible to the naked eye, emanated from his flesh and blood.
The air became hazy.
An indescribable shadow looms in and out.
Ordinary supernatural beings would certainly feel threatened and even helpless in the face of such a powerful evil.
However, in his previous life, Loya was a demigod-level wizard who was learned and versatile.
Even though he is very weak now, he still has ways to deal with things.
“It is indeed some kind of evil god, but thankfully it is very mild and weak.” Loya nodded. He formed hand seals and solemnly shouted, “Holy Magic: Purification.”
The violent, crimson flames of Loya suddenly transformed into a holy white.
This thing is completely out of place with darkness and evil; it was even suppressed by the ravings of that evil god.
"Aaaaaah!" A scream came from Patty's rotting flesh. The sound was bright at first, but it grew weaker and weaker as it went on.
"Moo, Pati, what a useless piece of trash. I think I should just give them their ogre tribe's territory. They're too weak to be worthy of it." A bull's roar came, and Cyborg, the minotaur chieftain, walked over.
Behind him followed a large group of red-eyed minotaurs.
They were a huge, imposing group.
"Lucky little sprite, you're still alive?!" Cybertron glanced at the unconscious Laffey out of the corner of his eye, somewhat surprised.
Yes, he was the one who just sent Lafite flying.
However, he didn't care that Raffi was alive.
Because Raffi poses no threat to him, it is Loya, the fire dragon, who is someone he should be wary of.
"Damn fire dragon, release my clan leader."
It didn't end there; more cannibals appeared in other directions.
They are much more irritable than minotaurs.
As soon as they arrived, they rushed over without hesitation.
“We can’t just sit idly by either.” Cybertron gripped his spiked club and led the minotaurs toward Loya.
Now, Loya is seen as a thorn in the side by most monsters.
However, this also made him the brightest "star" in the room.
"Hehehe, fight, fight, and we'll destroy this ship." From the shadows, a short rat-man who had appeared out of nowhere glanced slyly at the battlefield and led a group of rats stealthily toward the Ship of Hope.
“I have to admit…” Loya gave a wry smile: “I really can’t deal with you on my own.”
There are too many enemies, and they are led by a powerful silver-level superhuman creature.
Don't be fooled by how easily Loya defeated Pati into thinking he can easily defeat multiple silver-level superhuman beings, as well as a large number of low-level superhuman beings.
No, he can't do it.
His magic, too, has its limits.
He had previously fought a match against Patti, which had taken a toll on his stamina.
The effects of his sorcery inscriptions also have their limits.
During the battle, the inscription is likely to be destroyed, weakening him.
In conclusion, a large number of enemies can indeed defeat a single powerful individual.
...
"Where is the chieftain?" Linman asked anxiously. Although she knew she should have more faith in Loya, the enemies were too numerous and too powerful.
The odds of winning are too low if Loya is the only one standing.
If Vina were to come, there might still be a chance.
However, Vina still hadn't appeared, which gave Linman a bad feeling: "Could something have happened to the chieftain? Otherwise, if the enemy reaches Hope's Ark, she will definitely fight back with everything she has to fight them."
Loya had no intention of sacrificing himself for the elven tribe.
Logically speaking, he should have fled by now.
The enemy's primary targets appear to be the Elven tribe and the Ship of Hope.
He is absolutely secondary.
However, Loya did not escape immediately, which was unexpected.
"Although it's not completely finished yet, it should be usable for now," Loya said mysteriously.
"Boom!" The innate bloodline skill [Raging Flames] was activated.
Loya retreated frantically, but there were no powerful monsters behind him.
As for the weaker monsters, they fared much worse, being instantly spun around and sent flying. The fragile ones were even smashed to pieces.
The place was very close to the Ship of Hope; in less than four seconds, Loya arrived at the ship's base.
"Coward, all you can do is run away?" Cybertron taunted wildly: "Fight! Bleed! Be a hero and fight me to the death!"
"If you had taken down all the monsters behind you before saying that, I might have actually believed you," Loya muttered as he formed hand seals with his claws.
His hand speed was so fast that it created dazzling afterimages.
A wondrous hum emanated from his fingertips, resonating with the numerous [Witchcraft Inscriptions] on the nearby Ship of Hope. The inscriptions released a shimmering glow, forming a massive circular dome.
"What the hell is that?"
"It's somewhat unbelievable."
"Ah, I have a bad feeling."
The monsters weren't blind; they immediately noticed the changes to the Ship of Hope.
The ratmen, especially those closest to the Ship of Hope, were terrified.
"Witchcraft Inscription Array: Whirlwind Impact!" Loya called out, his mental power erupting as he forcefully manipulated the numerous inscriptions on the ship, moving and combining them into a magnificent and exquisite magic array.
A gust of wind erupted from it.
"Ahhh." After being touched by the wind again, the ratman's body felt as if it had been chewed up and turned into minced meat.
In the blink of an eye, the enemies on the edge of the Ship of Hope were wiped out.
"Is this a miracle? Is this a warship?" Linman and the few survivors stared in disbelief at the Ship of Hope.
Linman realized once again that she had underestimated Loya.
"Although I have limited experience, I do know that a ship simply inscribed with magic runes doesn't seem to be that exaggerated," an old elf muttered to himself.
"No, it must be because of Loya. He seems to possess the power to transform ordinary runes into something magical. If it were any other superhuman, it would be impossible to achieve such an effect, right?"
...
At a time when both the enemy and their own people were amazed.
Loya was not idle.
"Witchcraft Inscription Array: Extraordinary Light Cannon".
The inscriptions on the Ship of Hope twisted and transformed into dozens of translucent cannon barrels.
"Gentlemen monsters, please enjoy the baptism of fire."
Loya is very polite now.
"Retreat." Cybertron could already sense a terrifying power gathering and roaring within the Ship of Hope. He decisively turned around, preparing to flee.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh," indeed, the ship's [Extraordinary Light Cannon] had already fired.
A series of dazzling, pale white rays of light streaked across the night sky, drying the rain and descending upon the monster horde.
"Bang bang bang," the earth cracked and trembled violently.
Before the monsters could react, they were completely engulfed by the explosion.
Their superhuman flesh and blood bodies were like tofu, easily crushed in an frying pan.
"Moo, how could this be?" Cybertron swung his spiked club, trying to defend himself. But the power of the ray was terrifying, and his spiked club was easily knocked away.
The rays that followed closely behind enveloped Cybertron's strong and powerful body.
"Puff puff puff," several large holes took shape.
Cybertron fell to the ground.
Previously, Loya was forced back by the monsters like Cybertron, and Patty was not able to kill them completely.
But now, Pati is not so lucky.
Artillery fire rained down from the sky, engulfing his shattered body.
"I am immortal, I will never die..."
Pati let out a panicked scream and then vanished completely.
