Chapter Seventy-Nine: Even more ruthless than the Black Dragon.
Unfortunately, Loya quickly forgot about this "vinegar".
Loya stood up, walked into his own lava pool, and prepared to begin his cultivation.
"Actually, the core area is more popular, so maybe I should move there."
A thought immediately appeared in Loya's mind.
...
Gold-level and Master-level Flame Serpents are already very hard to find in this Grand Canyon.
However, there are still just as many Bronze and Silver level Flame Serpents.
However, this does not include the area around Loya's house.
The young dragon sisters wandered around the wilderness for a while and discovered several roaming Black Iron-level Flame Serpents.
They rushed over excitedly and killed the Flame Serpent with just a few punches and kicks.
"Not enough! I want a more powerful Flame Serpent!" Orpheus shouted impatiently. "Damn you, sir! You've killed far too many snakes lately, especially the Flame Serpents in the area; they're almost extinct!"
Finland smiled: "I can already sense the powerful aura of the Flame Serpent."
"Come on, follow me." Finland dashed into the distance.
This direction is very close to the cave breeding farm.
Orpheus rolled his eyes: "You're not going to go hunt those captive snakes, are you?"
That's right. In the eyes of the Finns and Orpheus, those fire snakes raised in farms are useless snakes without wild instincts. Such fire snakes are no longer dangerous monsters, but weak and easily bullied livestock.
Finland rolled its eyes: "How could that be? Come with me, that's the giant fire snake I found a while ago."
Orpheus asked suspiciously, "How big?"
Finland did not respond.
Ophie reluctantly followed.
Before long, they arrived at a place ten miles away, where the ground was cracked and dry.
There were also various traces left by snakes climbing all around. Most of the traces were small, but some were as big as motorcycle tires.
Logically speaking, there shouldn't be too many fire snakes here.
Because the fire snakes are almost always attracted to the breeding farms.
However, we're running low on snake-attracting potions lately.
At the same time, the cracks in the ground here are not well ventilated, which prevents the snakes in this area from smelling the snake-attracting potion.
In doing so, some fish inevitably slipped through the net.
"Wow, there really are giant snakes here!" Orpheus couldn't help but be delighted.
"Hiss hiss hiss," the scent of the young dragon immediately alerted the many fire snakes in the vicinity.
However, although the young dragon possessed a certain level of life-level pressure on the fire serpent, it was still very weak, especially since its true cultivation level was very low.
Just like Loya before, this will cause all sorts of monsters to unconsciously underestimate them.
The sheer number of monsters creates a subtle illusion that "I can win, I can kill."
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh," several fire snakes, each over four meters long, crawled out of the crack in the ground and darted toward the young dragon sisters.
They were all bronze-level fire serpents, each having awakened a natural fire-attribute bloodline skill, allowing them to easily manipulate low-level demonic fire, and they themselves were extremely hot.
"Hahaha, what arrogant little snakes! Today, I'm going to devour you all!" Finland was extremely reckless and charged straight at them.
[Intermediate Inscription: Body of Steel] Activated.
With a bright metallic sheen, Finland's body experienced a surge in both defensive capabilities and brute strength.
With a few "bangs," several fire snakes were sent flying.
There was also a fire serpent that Finland had caught in its hand and was constantly tearing at.
"Weak, so weak. I haven't even gotten serious yet!" Finland was extremely dissatisfied, and she screamed wildly.
"Something powerful is coming," Elena's voice came from behind.
"Hiss," and then, a small section of the ground beneath Finland collapsed.
Then, a nearly eight-meter-long fire serpent opened its fiery maw and bit at Finland.
Finland, however, was not frightened; she quickly opened her mouth.
Innate Bloodline Skill: Emerald Dragon Breath
A dense, highly toxic green beam erupted and instantly struck the giant fire serpent's face.
With a loud "bang," the immense force sent the front half of the giant fire serpent flying.
However, its long tail swept over and lashed out at Finland's neck with a "smack".
That was quite a force; Finland immediately tilted its head and fell to the ground.
The magic [Unending Green] shone with a disdainful smile, seemingly mocking Finland for being unable to handle a snake. Yet her movements were swift, perfectly timed to capitalize on an opening in the Great Flame Serpent's attack.
With a series of cracking sounds, the ground exploded, and more than a dozen vines shot out, encircling the giant fire serpent.
Fire is effective against plants, but the Great Fire Serpent cannot instantly kill plants.
The vines bought them a second.
[Intermediate Inscription: Wind Acceleration] Activated.
Orpheus darted over and bit the back of the Great Flame Serpent's neck.
With a "crack," the flexible cervical vertebrae beneath the skin emitted a mournful cry, and the Great Flame Serpent's entire body seemed to have its nerves severed, instantly losing control of its body.
"Damn it, Orpheus, how dare you steal my monster!" Finland shook his head and got up, furious after seeing the Great Flame Serpent was defeated.
She also wanted to single-handedly kill the Great Flame Serpent and avenge herself.
"Blame it on yourself for being too slow and too weak," Orpheus reminded him.
Finland was furious. She clenched her fists, ready to fight Orpheus and show him what she was made of.
"Hiss hiss hiss," however, more fire snakes appeared around them.
These fire serpents still felt confident in their abilities and thought the young dragon sisters were nothing special.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh," they rushed over quickly.
Finland, left with no other option, had to direct its anger at these foolish fire serpents.
A deafening roar echoed from the distant fissure in the ground.
Another giant fire snake, over six meters long, has appeared.
Flame serpents of this length generally exceed the bronze level and reach the silver level.
The sight of so many formidable opponents filled the young dragon sisters with elation. They immediately took action and began their fierce battle.
"Bang bang bang bang".
The sounds of fierce fighting echoed here once again.
The weak fire snakes were the first to be dealt with.
However, the young dragon sisters also suffered injuries, and dragon blood flowed out. The still-living Great Flame Serpent was stimulated by the smell of the dragon blood, causing its blood to boil.
They instinctively felt that if they could devour dragon blood, or bathe in dragon blood, and consume dragon flesh, they would gain tremendous benefits. For example, bloodline evolution and optimization.
The Great Flame Serpent's fighting spirit grew stronger and stronger.
Elena appeared silently not far away, and casually put all the dead fire serpents into her spatial ring for storage.
Five minutes later, the last few giant fire snakes collapsed.
Finland and Orpheus lay on the ground, panting.
"Hahaha, that's amazing!" Although Finland was very tired and her body ached, she couldn't help but be overjoyed: "I've decided, I want to learn the techniques of adding inscriptions and magic runes in the future."
Orpheus scoffed, "With a brain like yours, what right do you have to learn that kind of advanced knowledge? Do you even know how?"
Finland took a deep breath, her voice suppressed: "You've gone too far, my dear sister."
Orpheus pouted: "Telling the truth these days just makes it easy to offend the dragon."
Elena came over and collected the remains of the Great Flame Serpent.
Seeing this, the young dragon sisters couldn't help but get angry. Although they had had their fill of fire serpents, these fire serpents were all hunted by them and were their wealth.
They hate it when others take away their wealth.
If Loya did this, they could still tolerate it.
But they couldn't tolerate Elena's actions. They felt that Elena wasn't strong enough, and they were confident that they could definitely suppress her; it just would take some time.
“Your inscriptions are damaged,” Elena reminded her.
This made the young dragon sisters temporarily forget about wealth.
"It's alright, Your Majesty will definitely help us fix it. After all, Your Majesty can draw this thing with ease," Orpheus said matter-of-factly.
"Oh no!" Suddenly, Loya's voice reached this place.
Or perhaps, he followed the imprint of his soul and sent his gaze and voice here.
Loya's voice came too suddenly. The baby dragon sisters were startled.
"My lord." Elena bowed respectfully, expressing her reverence.
“I won’t repair the damaged inscriptions for free. You’ll need to pay a price, or rather, create some wealth for me, in exchange for my favor,” Loya said.
"You're so stingy!" Finland couldn't help but complain, "You're even more ruthless than that stingy black dragon."
