Chapter 260 045: Arrogant Apprentice
Half a month later, Randolph Wizard Tower.
After more than half a month of travel, Luo Xi and his party finally arrived at their destination, the Randolph Wizard Tower.
Standing on a hillside, Luo Xi looked at the wizard tower in front of him.
This is a small wizard tower, only about four or five meters high, built with dark gray stones. It can be seen that it is quite old. The traces of time have carved mottled textures on the stone, as if every stone carries the ancient memory of heresy.
The tower is surrounded by a patch of ruins that are very common here, with broken walls, broken bricks and tiles, broken roads, collapsed buildings, etc. However, it has been cleaned very cleanly. The ground is covered with thick green grass and colorful flowers. Even the broken walls are covered with nettles and vines. The atmosphere is quite tranquil and you can't tell that this is a ruin at all.
"Who are you!"
When Luo Xi was looking at the surrounding environment, a shout came from the sky, and then he saw two young men in cloaks riding magic wands flying towards this side in the sky. They were both senior apprentices in strength. One had a tall grid and the other had a freckled face.
Two apprentices landed on the hillside, holding their wands and keeping quite alert, and questioned Luo Xi and his group: "This is Lord Randolph's wizard tower. Who are you? Please explain your purpose!"
Angel quickly stood up and said, "Senior Ryan, Senior Aiwen, it's me!"
"Angel?"
The two wizard apprentices then noticed Angel in the crowd. The taller one frowned and asked, "Where have you been these days? You ran out of the tower for so long without any reason. Are you planning to defect?"
Angel was startled, she couldn't wear such a big hat.
She quickly explained, "How is that possible? I just went to the garden ruins to pick emerald leaves. I reported it to the tower before I left. If you don't believe me, you can check it out."
This was the excuse she used when reporting to the Wizard Tower before leaving. After all, treasure was something that could easily cause disputes no matter where it was placed. If she said it bluntly, she might not even be able to get out of the door and would be in trouble.
"Don't worry about that. We will go back and check it out."
Alvin next to him took over the conversation in a sarcastic tone and asked, "But since you said you were going to pick emerald leaves, what were your results?"
Angel quickly took out the emerald leaf that she had prepared in advance from her space pocket: "It's here."
Ivan didn't seem to want to let him go. He glanced at the man holding the emerald leaves and said disdainfully, "You've been out for so long with just these few leaves. How do we know if you bought these leaves from the market to trick us?"
Angel's companions couldn't bear it anymore.
Jerome stood up and frowned, "You guys are going too far. Angel is free to go wherever she wants. As long as she doesn't do anything that harms the wizard tower, you don't seem to have the right to interfere, right? Even if there is a problem, shouldn't Lord Randolph be the one to handle it?"
It was just an ordinary remark, but Ivan suddenly looked embarrassed and cursed at Jerome: "Where did you come from, you stinky bug? How dare a mere mortal life act so presumptuously in front of a wizard? I think you are tired of living!"
As he spoke, he suddenly raised his hand, and with a 'bang' sound, a sizzling fireball suddenly rose into the air and whizzed towards Jerome.
Angel's face changed: "Be careful, Jerome!"
Jerome quickly drew out his cross sword, took a parrying stance, and slashed at the fireball in front of him.
However, such extraordinary power was not something an ordinary human being could resist. The moment the cross sword came into contact with the fireball, the scorching heat burned the cross sword red and hot.
Jerome's face changed, he quickly threw away the cross sword and retreated quickly.
His reaction speed was already extremely fast, even faster than a cheetah running at full speed, and he retreated several meters away in an instant.
But in the face of extraordinary power, this speed is nothing. The next second, the huge fireball was already coming towards him.
The cross sword melted after just a moment of contact with the fireball. If the fireball had hit Jerome in the face head-on, there would be absolutely no chance of survival given Jerome's knight's body.
At this critical moment of life and death, suddenly, without any warning, the space in front of Jerome twisted, and the fireball that was coming towards him shattered with a bang and exploded into sparks that quickly disappeared in the wind.
Ivan and Ryan at the back looked changed.
"Is there anyone extraordinary?" Their eyes were immediately fixed on Luo Xi.
Due to their habit of concealing their aura, they had not noticed that there were other extraordinary people besides Angel hidden in the crowd until Luo Xi just released the spell and exposed his mental force field. Even so, due to the huge difference in strength, the two could not sense Luo Xi's strength specifically, and could only perceive that he had a mental force field.
Ivan asked suspiciously, "Who are you?"
Ryan next to him was not so polite. As an advanced apprentice, he was only one step away from becoming a wizard, and his mentality was much more arrogant.
He immediately said coldly: "Damn you, this is Lord Randolph's wizard tower. You dare to act wildly in our territory? Are you really tired of living?"
Rosie frowned.
In the extraordinary world, everyone is cautious, especially when facing an opponent whose strength is unclear. However, these two guys started talking nonsense right from the start. Luo Xi didn't know what was in their heads.
But he was not interested in understanding these things. The wizarding world was a world where strength mattered. When it came to such rude and uncomfortable things, he just had to deal with them.
Thinking about this, he raised a finger and pointed that way.
“Hoohoo!~”
Immediately, there was a whistling sound, and the vast wind element energy that was far beyond the apprentice's imagination gathered from all directions and condensed into a huge wind blade several meters high in front of Luo Xi in an instant.
Ryan and Ivan's faces changed drastically. The surging mental force field finally made them realize the strength level of the person in front of them.
"wizard!!!"
They pronounced the name in unison and with horror.
at the same time--
"call out!"
There was a sharp sound of breaking wind, and with a flick of Luo Xi's finger, the giant wind blade instantly rushed straight towards Ryan with unparalleled speed!
