Chapter 149 Is there really magic?

Tony was worthy of being one of the core figures of the Avengers in the future. When he saw that Taylor asked him to sit down and did not show any hostility, he quickly adjusted his mentality and sat directly opposite Taylor.

After seeing Taylor pick up the cup and take a sip of the blue drink in it and gesture to him, Tony was not nervous and directly picked up the blue drink in front of him and took a sip.

As soon as Tony drank the dark blue drink, he felt his whole body relax. At the same time, his brain felt refreshed. He vaguely felt that his thinking ability had improved and he calmed down.

Noticing Tony's actions, Taylor smiled slightly and pointed at the blue drink in front of Tony and said, "This is from the fishman world. It's a drink made from a mixture of special seaweed and kelp. It has the effect of increasing mental strength and calming people down."

Fishman world?

Looking down at the slightly swaying blue drink in front of him, Tony had a new question in his mind: where exactly is the fishman world? Is it really a world full of fishmen in fairy tales? Seeing Tony staring at the cup in front of him, Taylor didn't think he was being rude and spoke to himself.

"I never thought we would meet in this way. Mr. Tony Stark, who calls himself the greatest technological genius of this era, thought you were still in the desert, but I never thought I could rescue you after just one trip."

It would have been fine if this had not been mentioned. As soon as Tony mentioned this, he felt depressed. He did not expect that he had just gone out to promote a set of his own company's products, but not only did he learn the truth that he had been deceived, but he was also beaten and abused several times.

"I still want to thank you for saving me from those mysterious guys, even though you are also quite mysterious to me."

After taking another sip of his drink and feeling his mind becoming more alert and his heart calmer, Tony narrated what had happened to him in the past few days.

Taylor couldn't help laughing secretly as he sat aside and listened to the unfortunate guy's miserable experience. The other party was indeed miserable, but half of it was arranged casually by his subordinates.

He didn't do anything, he just gave an order. As for how the people who were conquered by Kano carried it out, that was none of his business.

"That's basically what happened to me. During that period of time, I didn't get a good night's sleep. I was also beaten inhumanely by those people. There was a hole in my chest. If you hadn't saved me, I would have died a long time ago."

Tony's tone was filled with fear at the end. He didn't want to die young like this. He still had a huge family business, he still had the secretary he had always liked, he still had a better future, he hadn't lived enough.

Seeing Tony's eyes were red, Taylor felt a little sorry. It seemed that the people under Kano had messed up the execution of the order. The result was good, but the process might be too messy.

Taylor reached out and patted Tony on the shoulder, comforting him: "It's all over. Look forward."

After taking two sips of the special blue drink, Tony adjusted himself again and asked with some confusion.

"So where am I now?"

He looked around. He was now on the third floor of a silver-white castle. Outside the balcony there was a wasteland that was being cleared, as well as a forest, a grassland, a swamp-like environment, and a desert. It looked extremely strange.

Taylor took a sip of the blue drink and said calmly, "If we follow the realistic geographical division, we are still in Queens, the Big Apple."

What? The Big Apple?

Queens?

Looking at Taylor's indifferent expression, Tony didn't know what to say for a moment. He was indeed seriously injured, but that didn't mean he was blind. What's more, he felt better than ever before. He was surrounded by a group of extremely strange environments and a castle. This didn't look like he was in the Big Apple.

"Hey, hey, hey, even though you are my savior, it doesn't mean you can talk nonsense. This place looks so strange. Have you ever seen a city with deserts, forests, swamps, grasslands and wastelands in the middle? Not to mention such a big castle."

Tony quickly returned to his original nature. He sat carelessly on the soft chair. He didn't believe any of Taylor's words. He had been in the Big Apple for so many years, how come he didn't know there was such a strange place.

Impossible, absolutely impossible! Tony smiled and shook his head vigorously, thinking that the mysterious man who saved him was still joking with him.

Tony didn't believe Taylor and didn't say much. He just leaned back in the chair, his eyes expressionless, just looking into the distance, not knowing what he was thinking.

After Tony finished laughing, he looked at Taylor seriously and spoke in the most serious tone.

"Although I don't know what your purpose is, and I don't care what your purpose is, but this time you saved my life, healed my injuries, and rescued me from the hands of those villains. From now on, you will be my, Tony Stark's, best friend... just like Rhodes."

At the end, Tony specifically cited an example, which was his best friend Rod.

Rhodes, later known as War Machine, naturally needs no further explanation about the relationship between him and Tony.

That's not bad.

"In that case, you Tony are my Taylor's friend. You are probably my first friend in this world."

Taylor was right in saying this. Director George and Black Egg had no dealings with him at all and could not be considered friends. Gwen was now at best a half-apprentice and half-experimental material under his command.

"My first friend in this world......"

Tony secretly savored what Taylor said, and suddenly felt that Taylor seemed a little lonely, followed by a feeling of complacency.

A mysterious and powerful person like Taylor naturally has high standards for his friends. Being his first friend, that's enough to show that he is pretty powerful.

Both of them are research talents, and they have their own curiosity and desire to explore knowledge and the unknown. Although they have different directions, they soon began to discuss some knowledge from science to magic.

Tony is worthy of being one of the most powerful and top scientific and technological talents in the Marvel Universe. The various theories and ideas he can come up with at will amaze Taylor.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of Tony's talent. Taylor knows how powerful Tony is after the later technological explosion. He even came up with the theory of time travel.

It stands to reason that a normal person's brain should not be able to reach this level. Even though Taylor is now a first-level wizard, a lot of knowledge when communicating with Tony gave Taylor some unprecedented surprises.

During the communication, Tony did most of the talking and Taylor listened. However, some of the runes Taylor inadvertently revealed, and even some changes of elements demonstrated by stretching out his hands, also surprised Tony, and his speculation about the magician once again filled his mind.

They were just discussing some things about electromagnetism, but Taylor suddenly used the theory of elemental magic to summarize it. Although it sounds reasonable, it is actually very different from the laws of science when you look into it. Where does the magic element come from in science?

At the end, Taylor actually released electric sparks with his bare hands to simulate electromagnetism with golden lightning of gravitational rays.

Tony: ………

After seeing Taylor release lightning with his bare hands to simulate electromagnetism and solve the problem they had just discussed, Tony was dumbfounded. It's really amazing to release lightning with bare hands and use it for research, right?

Looking at the bizarre scene in front of him, he thought of the book that could let him fly back, the inexplicable space teleportation, and the high-energy rays like golden lightning that bombarded the monster. Tony was very anxious but didn't know how to ask.

He felt that this special ability should be considered the other party's privacy. According to his understanding, many people with super powers were unwilling to mention where their abilities came from, or did not want to reveal any information at all.

Seeing Tony's curious yet cautious look, Taylor felt helpless because of his nagging attitude.

"Just ask whatever you want to ask. Don't be like this. It makes me uncomfortable."

This is just like looking at a bad website with your eyes closed. It's so awkward.

Tony was subconsciously startled as he hesitated. He raised his head and asked, "Was it obvious what I said?"

Isn’t it obvious?

Taylor's facial muscles twitched. He was speechless about Tony's expression. He waved his hand to signal Tony to ask whatever he wanted to ask quickly.

Now that Taylor has agreed, Tony won't be polite. He looked at Taylor with a look of unknown and exploration in his eyes and asked.

"I want to know if you were born with any special abilities?"

"Special abilities?"

Taylor asked back, and quickly realized that it seemed that the other party did not regard him as a magician or wizard, but he did not say it. Maybe Tony now regarded him as a person with complex abilities.

"I don't have any special abilities."

Taylor shook his head to deny Tony's guess. Tony opened his mouth slightly and was stunned. He had seen so much and still said that he had no special abilities. What kind of special abilities did he have? "I am a wizard. These abilities of mine come from my mental strength and my magic power. The reason why I am so powerful is also due to my knowledge reserves. So this is not a special ability that I was born with like you said. It is just the strength I gained through my own hard work."
