Chapter 29 Genius and Madman

Wizards are indeed a profession that possesses a sequence of extraordinary powers. Even though Taylor is only an apprentice wizard, he has already firmly stepped one foot into the true extraordinary sequence.

In the face of the solid knowledge base and powerful mental comprehension ability, the text of this plane seemed to be defenseless and completely unfolded towards Taylor.

During the three days and nights on the way to the city, Taylor had completely mastered the writing and language of this dimension. In addition, he also harvested a large number of zombie crystals.

Through the study of zombie crystals, Taylor is now certain that this thing can be of great benefit to Warcraft and even ordinary beasts.

Even with the addition of some medicines and herbs, these crystals can play a more powerful role. However, since these crystals were born from zombies, Taylor couldn't be sure whether they were good for humans, or even bad for humans, so he didn't use them on himself.

Looking at Dom who had buried his head in his small bowl and was swallowing some ordinary quality zombie crystals in big mouthfuls, Taylor felt that the magic elements in Dom's body were slowly rising, and he couldn't help but write and draw on a notebook.

The naive little Dom had no idea that he had inexplicably become a guinea pig for the experiment.

It now feels that its master is indeed much better than ordinary humans. Not only is he very kind to it, but he also feeds it delicious transparent sugar beans every day that can enhance its strength.

…………………………

On the outskirts of a huge city, billowing dust was rising along a dilapidated road. A granite carriage pulled by two brown dirt horses arrived in the city, surrounded by a group of giant earth elemental wolves.

Looking at the huge sign erected at the entrance of the city, Taylor was now able to recognize the triangular characters of this dimension. Looking at the huge sign, Taylor read it out softly.

"Mr. Renner, the greatest magic scientist of this century, has successfully invented a powerful magic machine. The world's peace needs these powerful steel warriors to defend it..."

Magical mechanical body? Is it a puppet system unique to this plane, or a simplified version of the wizard puppet construct? The greatest magic scientist of this century, what a big name, I think there is no false reputation, he must be one of the most outstanding talents in this plane.

After taking back his elemental puppet carriage, Taylor only left four giant earth elemental wolves to surround him as guards, and walked into the dilapidated and desolate city.

Once he entered, it was just like the villages and towns he had encountered before, desolate and dilapidated everywhere. Dust had already accumulated into a thick layer, and all facilities had stopped functioning. Apart from the zombies wandering in the streets, there was no trace of intelligent life left behind.

Walking into a newsstand, Taylor opened the newspaper closest to the present time. The headline of the newspaper said that the most evil magic genius had such and such a thing, but what caught his attention most was the following paragraph.

"He is an absolute madman, a madman who can only be defeated by Mr. Renner with his magical mechanical body. That madman even claims that he can make dead bodies move again!"

"This madman has already determined that the human body is imprisoned and cannot be further strengthened. He actually wants to combine the living with the dead!"

This person seemed to be the rival of the Renner genius mentioned on the billboard just now.

As for his name, no one knew it, and everyone used the most evil magical genius to deny him and affirm his talent.

Can he make the dead move again? Could he be the culprit who caused this plane to fall into disaster? Taylor felt that this plane was gradually becoming interesting. There were good geniuses and bad geniuses, and the two were exactly opposite. What they were studying represented the conflict between flesh and blood and machines.

This is just like what is described in a brief history of wizards in the apprentice library. A long time ago, there was not only a war between black wizards and white wizards, but a more terrifying and more direct war was started between flesh and blood wizards, mechanical wizards and elemental wizards.

If the dispute over black and white ideas among wizards is only about their attitudes towards their own kind and some conflicts in their behavior styles, then the latter conflict is the most fundamental and direct ideological conflict, and also a conflict of their paths.

Excluding some other minor branches of wizards, only elemental wizards such as Taylor, flesh wizards such as Tyfas, and mechanical wizards that he had never seen before were the three main pillars of today's wizard civilization.

Elemental wizards are the oldest and longest-standing school of wizards, and can be said to be the root of all wizards. Whether it is a flesh-and-blood wizard or a mechanical wizard, they are all derived from elemental wizards.

As the name suggests, flesh and blood wizards will use all their magical powers and even research witchcraft models to strengthen their bodies and transform their bodies to make them comparable to some powerful monsters. Their mainstream methods include melee combat, blood curses and strengthening of their own bodies.

Mechanical wizards are the latest school to appear. They focus on some mechanized production to form a terrifying mechanical wave. They draw inspiration from construct puppets. They even transform their own bodies and become half-mechanical and half-human beings. Many of these wizards have lost their normal emotions and only have absolute rationality.

However, the mechanical wizards' experimental modifications to their own bodies and minds, as well as the partial losses caused by them, also made their subsequent progress difficult.

However, mechanical wizards are really simple in the early stages and require low investment, but they are not accepted by the mainstream wizard civilization and were even suppressed at one point. Now it is rare to see mechanical wizards.

Through understanding, Taylor also noticed two geniuses in this dimension. One took the path of combining machinery and magic to sweep away all enemies with a body of steel, while the other strengthened his body, and even when strengthening his body didn't work, he began to manipulate corpses to play with flesh and blood.

They are all geniuses, but unfortunately, this plane has locked their development.

Taylor probably felt that the conflict between these two geniuses, and the final victory of the so-called evil genius, had caused this plane to become such a mess.

This is really a pity, the magical elements in this plane are really active, but the result of this activity is the evolution of wild beasts and monsters and the confinement of humans.
