Chapter 363 The Clown and the Protagonist

One week later This is already the seventh day that Taylor has been working at the Krusty Krab. During these seven days, he witnessed with his own eyes how the most stingy and mean boss in Bikini Bottom used his only "conscience" to exploit his poor employees, using the least money to hire the largest labor force, and using the lowest money to purchase the cheapest materials.

Have you ever seen cabbage bought at 10 o'clock in the middle of the night? Have you ever seen a boss crossing mountains and rivers to the next city to buy two bottles of ketchup?

Taylor can pat his chest and guarantee that he saw these scenes with his own eyes and even participated in them.

Until now, he can still recall that at nine o'clock in the evening, Mr. Krabs knocked on the door and dragged SpongeBob to visit Squidward with him. After being kicked out by Squidward, they went back and forth to different cities to buy the cheapest products.

Except for the most famous patty of the Krabby Patty, whose fate is unknown, all the ingredients were purchased by Tyler and SpongeBob. Although they were cheap enough, the two of them did their best to meet the required targets, and at least they did not expire.

Squeak~~~~ Tyler, who was carrying a big bag of bread slices, had just pushed open the door of the Krusty Krab, and he heard Squidward's angry voice and his red face. Surrounding him were SpongeBob with an innocent face and customers who were pointing at him and laughing. The laughter sounded so harsh.

Seriously, I don’t know how many times this has happened, it seems like it happens once a day.

After returning to the kitchen and putting down the bag of bread, Taylor shook his head speechlessly. He didn't know why, but there seemed to be an inseparable bond between Squidward and SpongeBob. Every time SpongeBob did something, Squidward would suffer, and then be pointed at and laughed at by everyone.

SpongeBob is like a colorful treasure, like the protagonist walking among Bikini Bottom. No matter what he does, even if it makes everyone angry, they will forgive him in the end. He is like a happy pill and an angel.

On the other hand, Squidward always fails, is always laughed at, always plays a supporting role and always looks like a clown. There is indeed a big difference between the two in terms of daily treatment and how they deal with others, but Taylor always feels that Squidward should not be reduced to this.

Tyler poked his head out of the kitchen window and saw the customers pointing and laughing at Squidward, then they walked out on their own and returned to Bikini Bottom according to the planned pace and trajectory.

They have been like this for the past few days.

"Oh...how pitiful..."

Looking at the backs of SpongeBob and Patrick who were holding hands and going out to catch jellyfish, Taylor turned his head to look at Squidward in front of him, who was a little dazed, with a drooping face, looking aggrieved and not knowing what to do with himself. After shaking his head and sighing, he pushed open the door of the kitchen, walked to the cashier counter, looked at Squidward and spoke to comfort him.

"You don't need to be too sad about this. Maybe people just don't know that you are a fallen artist, and some of your views are different from others. Don't feel sad about this."

Hearing Taylor's words of persuasion, Squidward wiped his tears twice with his tentacles, and said to Taylor with great emotion.

"Oh, thank you, my friend. You are probably the only one who is so kind to me among so many people. Maybe there have been others before... but you are still the best to me now."

As he spoke, Squidward seemed a little excited. He stretched out his two octopus claws and grabbed Taylor's fins. He looked at Taylor affectionately and spoke with passionate words.

"It is my great honor to have a friend like you with whom I can discuss art. Why don't I play a piece for you on my favorite recorder?"

Then, Squidward let go of Taylor's fin and took out a black and white recorder from his back. It looked simple but had been carefully maintained.

Seeing that Squidward was gradually immersed in his recorder music, Tyler tiptoed out of the door of the Krusty Krab. Mr. Krabs didn't know what was going on, but there was no one in the office, so Tyler turned around and slipped out, planning to come back later.

But what Taylor didn't notice at the moment was that when he turned and left, the eyes of Squidward, who was playing the recorder, became more and more red, and his skin color changed from the original blue-green to a light gold. Scales grew all over his body, his eyes began to turn red, his tongue began to fork, and there seemed to be two large tumors protruding from his shoulders.

The sky outside and the flying shells froze again. The sky and the area centered on the Krusty Krab fell into some indescribable chaos and confusion. The sky became a ball, and the coral-like clouds in the sky began to twist and fold layer by layer.

The shells flying in the sky began to turn into muscular monsters. The internal muscle tissue quickly spread into tentacles, entwined around their shell bodies, and then quickly spread outwards, becoming a large meat ball.

The next moment everything returned to its original normal state, peaceful and tranquil. When the sun was shining, the sound of shells could be heard outside.

"I, I may be too tired..."

————————————

Here is an endless stretch of seaweed, grassland, dense coral reefs and various kelp, algae, shells and jellyfish swimming happily on this grassland. The sun shines between the mountains and is reflected on the grassland, making it magnificent and beautiful.

Along the way, Taylor kept thinking about why Squidward had such a miserable life, as if there was a script describing and portraying him, while SpongeBob was always so sincere and kind.

Everything was no longer making sense. Taylor felt that maybe the mysterious primate in his dream was himself. He had this vague feeling.

As he walked, he came to a jellyfish field. He wanted to see SpongeBob and Patrick catching jellyfish, but there were only jellyfish wandering around in the jellyfish field and beautiful scenery, but no signs of any living creatures.

"Where's SpongeBob?"

After walking around, Taylor didn't see SpongeBob near the jellyfish field, which made him curious. He immediately walked towards the pineapple house, trying to find SpongeBob and Patrick.

After arriving at the Polo House, Taylor found that the iron door of the Pineapple House was ajar. He quietly pushed open the door of the Pineapple House, and what came into view was the cleanly swept conference room and a snail staring at him with dull eyes.

"Hello, I think I heard SpongeBob mention you. Are you his pet snail?"

"You're welcome, Mr. Taylor. I've been waiting for you for a long time. Or rather, Mr. Wizard Taylor."
