Chapter 40 Taylor's Darkness

Although this body is very sluggish to operate and has no sense of touch or smell, only hearing and vision, it is indeed a new experience for Kano, and it is an experience that belongs exclusively to him, not a feeling shared with Taylor and Bobby.

He lowered his head to look at his robot-like palms and the energy lines formed by the witchcraft runes attached to the surface of his palms, feeling the thick magic channels deep in his body structure.

From the face to the body and then to the legs, arms and hands, there are connections between the energy lines and witchcraft runes, and there are some more subtle witchcraft circles attached to the hands and legs.

Kano roughly sensed his magical mechanical body. He could now use his left hand to control the wind element to make wind blades, and his right hand to gather fire elements to release fireballs. His two feet were enchanted with wind magic, which allowed him to fly briefly at critical moments.

On his chest is the "heart" that holds the magic ore to provide energy.

Although he is not a flesh and blood body and only has hearing and vision, Kano is already very satisfied. At least now he can be independent for a short time, right?

"How do you feel now?"

After hearing Taylor's voice, Kano actually took half a minute to react. He seemed to be adapting to the feeling that he was the only one hearing the voice, rather than sharing senses and information.

"I'm...fine...very good."

After hesitating for a while, Kano spoke his first sentence, the first sentence that could be heard by others, stumbling through the specially designed sound amplification array and throat-like device at the throat of his magic mechanical body.

"How do you feel about this new body? How are the connections of the magic channels, the operation of some energy patterns, and the operation of the witchcraft arrays and witchcraft runes enchanted on your hands and feet?"

Although Kano's voice was wise and dry, like the sound of two sanders rubbing against each other, Taylor was still very surprised by it.

In his heart, Bobby and Kano are his closest people and his only two relatives in the world.

But it was a bit unfair for Kano and Poppy that the three of them shared one body. If this method was possible, he could also attach Poppy to a magical mechanical body to experience a whole new life.

As the main consciousness, everything in the secondary consciousness is derived from the main consciousness. Taylor can naturally sense the surprise and excitement in Kano's heart.

"There is no problem with this body as a whole. The connection of the magic channel and the operation of the energy lines are almost perfect. Thank you, Taylor."

As he became more familiar with his body, Kano no longer stuttered when speaking. His voice was still hoarse and unpleasant, but the sentences he spoke were much smoother.

As Taylor's other personality, lazy Bobby looks at Kano's new body with longing and envy in his heart.

He also wants to have his own body, to be able to bask in the sun, drink hot tea, do things that interest him, bask in the sun and listen to music lazily every day.

Taylor sensed the desire in Bobby's heart. He smiled and comforted him, "Don't worry, you will also have a magical mechanical body in the future, and I will definitely find a way to make you have a flesh and blood body in the future."

"Wow, that's amazing, Taylor. Thank you so much."

The conception and design process of the lava puppet must be accelerated...

Bobby's voice was still frivolous and unfocused, but Taylor could hear the seriousness and gratitude in it.

As secondary consciousnesses, they would not resist whatever decision Taylor made or what he ordered them to do. They belonged to Taylor, the main consciousness, out of their own hearts and would not even have a trace of evil thoughts.

But he could clearly feel that since they were born, Taylor had always communicated with them on an equal footing, respected their ideas very much, and treated them like family.

Obviously he can be used as a handy tool, Taylor is the head of their family.

Although they were born by Taylor, they have long been independent entities with their own personalities and emotions. Taylor's behavior made them feel valued and respected.

Because of their own loyalty and obedience to their own consciousness, coupled with Taylor's recognition of their equality, respect and the promise he had just made to them, Kano and Bobby decided to devote everything they had to Taylor's wizarding path in the future.

It is not the kind of execution of orders, nor is it coercion, nor is it forced. It is a decision and approval that comes completely from the heart.

They may be dark and cruel, or lazy and indolent, but they also have their own pursuit, which is to make Taylor the most powerful and knowledgeable wizard.

Since Kano felt that his new body was still okay, Taylor turned around and packed up his potions, some props and equipment, etc., preparing for the upcoming battle.

Kano closed his eyes and continued to adjust to his new body, while thinking about other things.

In his opinion, Taylor is calm and has his own bottom line and persistence, which is good for a white wizard.

What he admired now was that Taylor had his own bottom line, but was not pedantic, and did not reject or dislike the wars started by wizards and the plunder of resources and knowledge, which was highly consistent with his current profession: white wizard.

They are neither chaotic and cruel, nor sanctimonious and pedantic. They have their own rules and bottom lines to stick to, their own yearning and curiosity for everything, and their own unique pursuit and insights into knowledge.

However, as the embodiment of Taylor's dark side, cruel thoughts and negative emotions, Kano knows very well that sometimes the world does not operate according to Taylor's own bottom line, and sometimes it is difficult or even impossible to avoid doing some dark and cruel things for oneself.

He didn't want Taylor to break his own principles and bottom line, so as for these dirty things, he would have to do it. He was willing to become Taylor's darkness, hiding in the shadows forever to deal with everything Taylor was unwilling to do and the hidden threats.

Let him do things like hostage-taking, betrayal, even massacre, extermination, etc. He has no bottom line or principles anyway.

Sometimes the world is so wonderful. At first, Kano thought that some of Taylor's persistence and principles were a manifestation of weakness, but now he appreciates this persistence and bottom line, and even wants to help maintain it.

For wizards who possess extraordinary powers, once certain principles and bottom lines are broken, they will become chaotic and lawless power monsters.

Sometimes persistence and bottom line are not used to restrain a person, but to protect a person.
