Chapter 5: First Level Wizard Apprentice

Night This night was particularly quiet. After Taylor came back from work, he did not continue to study his knowledge, but instead began to meditate silently, because tonight, he would try to break through to the first-level wizard apprentice.

Recently, Taylor has been trying to build his own witchcraft model. After more than a dozen failures, Taylor was finally able to use his mental power to steadily outline three witchcraft runes that symbolize fire, burning and explosion.

It’s okay if you fail to outline the witchcraft model, just collapse and rest for two days.

After completing the outline of the three witchcraft runes, Taylor calmed down for a while, improving his knowledge and mental strength through more knowledge and day and night meditation.

After feeling that his own accumulation and mental power level were sufficient, Taylor tried to complete the final mental power node connection around the three witch patterns and completely complete the witchcraft model.

When completing the connection of the mental nodes, Taylor used his own accumulated knowledge and the records in the book to analyze and change the distance and direction of the two mental nodes.

This change is insignificant, it just makes the joints more stable, and there are no less than twenty such fine-tuning changes in the book "Flame Strength Concepts".

Taylor intentionally controlled the detailed division and operation of his mental power. The mental power as thin as a hair was strung into a line under the manipulation of Taylor's will, connecting these mental power nodes.

Taylor was particularly nervous when the two mental nodes were changed by Taylor's own analysis. The mental threads trembled slightly, and the two mental nodes were connected bit by bit. Sure enough, nothing unusual happened. Even the three witchcraft runes began to emit a faint glow.

After successfully connecting the two mental power nodes, Taylor breathed a sigh of relief, and finally steadily manipulated his mental power threads to completely complete the outline of the entire witchcraft model.

When the entire secondary fireball witchcraft model was completed, Taylor's mental space suddenly burst into a faint red light, and the entire mental space, including Taylor's own soul and body, began to undergo slight changes.

The secondary fireball witchcraft model attracted the surrounding fire element particles and began to make some changes to Taylor's body.

This is the element attracted by Taylor's transformation of mental power that drives the body to strengthen. Although Taylor is only about nine years old now, his physical fitness is comparable to some adults with slightly weaker constitutions.

In the eyes of the white wizards, mental power is the foundation of wizards. Only when the mental power is strong can the body become strong and the life level of the wizard further evolve. Knowledge is the existence that truly determines their upper limit. With knowledge, wizards have pursuits. With knowledge, wizards can increase their mental power through knowledge. With knowledge, wizards will satisfy their endless desire for knowledge...

Now Taylor felt that his whole body had changed. It was a feeling of being refreshed and clear all over.

Taylor couldn't help but hum secretly as he felt the strength and energy in his body that was not suitable for his age group.

"No wonder the basic wizard knowledge code says that mental power is the foundation of wizards. It turns out that the improvement of mental power can lead to changes in the body..."

As he thought this, Taylor stretched out his hand, and flames appeared in his palm, gathering into a small fireball. This was just the most basic application of the secondary fireball technique, creating a flame cluster.

"Flame, power, extraordinary."

Looking at the small ball of fire in his hand, Taylor felt that the birth of this small ball of fire was because his mental power was mixed with magic power, and then the witchcraft was released through the witchcraft model, and finally transformed into a physical elemental fireball.

“It’s amazing…”

Looking at the small ball of fire rising and falling in the palm of his hand, Taylor narrowed his eyes, feeling that such a supernatural scene was something he could not imagine in his previous life. But now, he had the power to control the flames, even though the flame was only a small ball of fire now.

"Huh... This is the power of wizards, a world dominated by knowledge and spiritual power..."

Exhaling a breath, Taylor contentedly dispersed the floating fireballs on his palms, closed his eyes and continued to meditate, slowly improving his mental and magical powers.

The next day, Taylor, feeling refreshed, immediately went to the Apprentice Library and found the library administrator, where he registered his information that he had become a first-level wizard apprentice.

The librarian is a third-level wizard apprentice. He is already very old and has no hope of becoming a powerful first-level wizard.

The White Tower Alliance still has some humanity after all. According to the rules and regulations, these old third-level wizard apprentices are assigned to some positions that are more important to other apprentices to continue to play their final glory in the training of apprentices.

Looking at the young apprentice in front of him who was only nine years old, while other menial apprentices were still slowly figuring out how to build their own witchcraft models, the one in front of him had already become a formal wizard apprentice. The librarian felt that the child in front of him must have a bright future.

Looking at Librarian Taylor, he rarely said a few more words.

"You have great potential and ambition, and your heart is calmer than other children of the same age, but you must always maintain a humble attitude. The powerful wizards have said that when you become arrogant, you will lose your life."

Taylor raised his head and looked at the counter. The librarian behind him, who had a gray beard, wrinkles on his forehead and eyes full of envy and emotion, smiled and nodded, and said respectfully.

"Master Administrator, I will keep your teachings in mind, and I will always maintain the mentality of an apprentice to face my future."

Feeling Taylor's respect and seriousness towards him, the administrator nodded with satisfaction and took out a small object from his arms and placed it in front of Taylor.

This small object looked like a medal, with densely packed small patterns carved on it, and Taylor also recognized a witchcraft rune in the middle that symbolized the element of fire.

There was a slight fluctuation in Taylor's calm eyes, as if he recognized what it was.

Seeing Taylor's reaction, the librarian nodded with satisfaction and said, "With your current level of knowledge, you should be able to tell that this is a witchcraft item related to fire."

"Its name is actually the Medal of Fire. Its ability is that when you inject magic power into it, it will release a circular flame shield to cover you. In addition, it also improves your perception of fire elements, meditation, and mental strength."

"The strength of its shield is determined by the amount of magic power you input. It can at most protect against the attacks of a third-level wizard apprentice. Having this medal during your apprenticeship can shorten the time it takes you to improve your strength."

After listening to the librarian's introduction, Taylor's heart was excited, and he decided to get the Flame Medal without thinking. After all, with this Flame Medal, he would have a self-defense tool.

If I were to use my special powers during my apprenticeship, this medal of fire would definitely play a significant role.

Suppressing the excitement in his heart, Taylor raised his head and stared into the librarian's eyes and asked.

“What do I need to give?”

The administrator took back the Flame Medal he had put out, looked into Taylor's eyes, and said, "It seems that you are indeed a natural wizard and understand what is equivalent exchange. Yes, this Flame Medal does require you to pay a price, 300 points."

Three hundred points?! This was the amount of points that a chor apprentice would have to work 300 days a day, nearly a year, to earn.

The Flame Intensity Assumption that Taylor exchanged from the Apprentice Library is worth 100 points and can only be borrowed for two weeks.

Is it so expensive?
