93. Chapter 93 Kidnapping Yennefer (Please vote, please collect, please reward)

While everyone was still immersed in the shock of a golden dragon that could telepathically perform magic and appear before their eyes, Wayne suddenly emerged from the woods nearby.

There was a faint smile on his face, but his amber vertical pupils, the sword on his body, and the pointed ears on both sides of his head immediately attracted everyone's attention.

Another demon hunter, and a half-elf demon hunter at that.

"Wayne! Haha, I knew you were here too."

Dandelion quickly recovered from his shock. He greeted Wayne cheerfully and quickly formed the outline of a poem in his mind for the brave Knight Ike and the powerful and elegant golden dragon.

With just a few minor modifications, it can become a widely circulated poem. Of course, the protagonist of this song is not the heroic Knight Ike, but the poet himself who witnessed the development of the event.

Just like the poems he wrote when he was adventuring with Geralt, the powerful White Wolf Geralt, although an excellent swordsman who can defeat many monsters, it is often the wise, brave and handsome great poet Dandelion who turns the tide in the end.

Wayne greeted everyone in turn, but the arrogant sorceress and magician Dorrigare didn't want to pay attention to him. They just said "hmm" lightly as a response.

Seeing that no one had the intention of taking the risk to save Ike, Wayne looked at Geralt, then gave the White Wolf an apologetic look, and suddenly stretched out his hand and swung it violently. A light blue chain flew out from his sleeve and directly tied up the sorceress Yennefer who was not looking at him straight in the eye not far away.

Wayne shook, pulled and pushed, and the sturdy magic-blocking gold chains tied up Yennefer like a dumpling, binding her hands and feet.

This chain was made of the magic-blocking gold he found from the Wild Dog Gang, which was melted and forged. Once someone is tied up with this chain, no matter if it is a sorceress, a druid or any other spellcaster, they will no longer be able to cast spells. It is a powerful weapon he keeps to deal with spellcasters.

Yennefer originally wanted to fight back with magic, but she soon realized this. After losing the ability to cast spells, she was like an ordinary woman, with her hands and feet tied, unable to break free from the control of the chains.

She lay on the ground, turned her head with all her strength, and shouted to Geralt: "Geralt, you bastard, what are you still doing here? Come and save me."

Geralt looked at all this in a daze, and after hearing Yennefer's call, he couldn't think straight.

His right hand subconsciously touched the hilt of the sword, but he quickly stopped the action and looked at Wayne with a puzzled look, wondering what his brother wanted to do. Wayne gave Geralt a reassuring look with his eyes, then pulled hard and directly carried the tightly bound sorceress on his shoulders, with her butt facing Geralt so that he could not see Geralt's expression, and then he said loudly: "Sorry, Geralt, I promised to help the golden dragon and stop Lady Yennefer from casting magic on him."

"But don't worry, I won't hurt this lady. When this matter is over, I will return Lady Yennefer to you safely."

"Of course, you can also fight me."

"But if you want to fight, you have to be careful. The swords in our hands don't have eyes. Who knows if we might hurt your sorceress during the fight."

Geralt's expression was a little strange. He certainly believed that Wayne would not hurt Yennefer, but he did not expect that his brother would use this method to stop Yennefer from taking action.

Seeing Wayne winking at him, Geralt had no choice but to cooperate and said fiercely:

"Wayne, remember your promise. If you hurt Ye, don't blame me for not considering our brotherhood."

Dandelion was a smart man. He guessed what was going on after seeing the expressions of the two people. As for Yennefer, who was always arrogant and had a bad temper, the poet also wanted to see her suffer a little, so he shouted loudly:

"Wayne, I didn't expect you to be such a person. Geralt and I trusted you so much, but you actually betrayed our team. What benefit did this golden dragon give you?"

Looking at Dandelion who took the initiative to add drama to himself, Wayne curled his lips and glanced at the magician Dorrigare who was looking at the three of them with a vigilant face. He immediately said, "He didn't give me any benefits, and I didn't ask him for any benefits. I didn't do this for a commission. I just didn't want such a rare golden dragon, a creature full of wisdom, to die in the hands of those despicable and greedy hunters."

Such an answer immediately made Dorigare, who advocated balance in all things, look at Wayne with a higher opinion. This was the first time he met Wayne, and the first impression of a person is very important.

After saying that, he immediately turned around and left the group at an extremely fast speed. Geralt could only watch his goddess being carried away by his good brother. He stretched out his hand and wanted to say something, but nothing came out.

After Wayne left, the remaining three looked at each other in bewilderment. In the end, Geralt was the more conscientious. He nodded to Dandelion and said with a sigh:

"Don't worry, Wayne won't hurt Ye. Let's go check on that bastard Ike. Even though he's a son of a bitch, he's still a life after all. If we can save him, we should save him."

Wanting to observe the golden dragon up close, Master Garedore said with a hint of pride:

"Now that Yennefer has been captured, I don't think you two will want to slay the dragon."

"I'll go with you guys. Even though I don't know any healing spells, I should be able to think of a way to help stabilize the condition of that crazy knight."

After reaching a simple verbal agreement, the three of them walked down the hillside and came to Knight Ike. The golden dragon in the distance watched them from afar but did not stop them.

Dorrigare first stared at the golden dragon from afar for a while with an eye that looked like he was appreciating a rare treasure, then he casually glanced at the unconscious Knight Ike, snorted and said:

"This guy is already useless. His legs are severely deformed and his bones are broken. Even if he is cured, he probably won't be able to run again."

"The chest and head are protected by armor, so the problem is not serious. However, his head suffered a serious impact, and no one knows what the impact will be."

He waved his hand, signaling Geralt and Dandelion, who had helped Ikko take off his armor, to move aside. Then he chanted a spell and used his hands to direct the nearby chaos magic, which slowly entered Ikko's body.

For a moment, Ike's whole body trembled, and even in a coma, he couldn't help but groan in pain.

After about five minutes, Dorrigare wiped the sweat from his forehead, put down his hands, and said, "I have cast a stabilization spell on him. Although it cannot heal his injuries, at least his injuries will not get worse."

"Fortunately, he only suffered severe fractures and contusions, with no bleeding or internal organ damage. Otherwise, he would be a corpse now."

After saying that, Dorrigare glanced at Geralt, smiled, and said:

"This guy is also a poor guy. I am not so kind as to continue to treat him."

"If you don't mind the trouble and are not afraid of not getting your medical expenses back, when this is over, find a good doctor for him and see if you can restore his mobility."

"But as I said, his leg bones are completely necrotic. Unless you find the best healing wizard to grow a new pair of leg bones for him and then replace them for him, he will definitely not be able to continue fighting."

"Of course, such a wizard is definitely not cheap. Including the materials and surgery fees, it will probably cost thousands of crowns."

Geralt looked at Dandelion when he heard this. If it was a small amount of money, he might be able to help Ike pay for it out of principle and justice in his heart, but thousands of crowns was a considerable sum even for a witcher.

Unfortunately, Ike was only a knight-errant, not a true landed knight. Even if he sold all his property, he probably wouldn't be able to raise such a fortune.
