Chapter 155 Don’t talk, just listen to me!

Pei Zhiyu didn't seem surprised by his words. She said directly, "I know, it's Qin Yu."

"Yes...but how did you know?" Qin Hezhou was surprised.

"That's an easy guess." She said nonchalantly, "It seemed like no one else would suddenly target me except him."

But it was her nonchalant tone that made Qin Hezhou feel guilty.

He always felt that the unprovoked disaster that Pei Zhiyu suffered was essentially caused by himself.

"sorry."

"Huh?" Pei Zhiyu turned her head in confusion, meeting his evasive gaze. "Why are you apologizing all of a sudden?"

He avoided looking into her eyes and whispered, "I'm the one who implicated you."

"If I hadn't approached you without permission and let Qin Yu and his gang know about it, perhaps your entire three years of high school would have been very peaceful."

"It should be better than now."

Pei Zhiyu felt a little frustrated when he heard this but he didn't know how to vent it, so he struggled out of his arms.

"Better than now?" Her slender fingers suddenly hooked onto the only bathrobe he was wearing. She asked in an almost interrogative tone, "Why do you always use your guilt and repentance in such strange ways? Qin Hezhou, I can't understand you."

She seemed angry.

Qin Hezhou felt that he had said something wrong and hurried to make amends, but his raised hand missed her just as it was about to touch her.

It was as if there was suddenly a void in my heart.

It was fine just now...

It’s all Qin Yu’s fault!

But he still didn't understand where Pei Zhiyu's sudden anger came from.

Because I apologized?

He wanted to explain, but he couldn't, so he opened his mouth again and said, "I'm sorry, hiss—"

Pei Zhiyu pinched the flesh on his cheeks.

Caught off guard, Qin Hezhou's facial expression at this moment was like a goldfish forced to blow bubbles.

When he tried to speak, he could only mumble, and it was impossible to hear clearly.

This is the effect she wants.

This lasted for about half a minute before Pei Zhiyu slowly spoke: "I am angry, Qin Hezhou, really angry."

he:"%*@*%"

Pei Zhiyu pinched his face hard and said angrily: "Don't talk, just listen to me!"

"Yeah." Qin Hezhou nodded vigorously.

"I don't know what's going on in your mind. You're always apologizing to me for something that happened back then."

"Whether you feel guilty or regretful, you always make me feel that what you are looking forward to is not reuniting with me and falling in love with me..."

"It's more like wishing I had never appeared in my life."

"What do you mean it will be better than now?"

As he spoke, the tears in Pei Zhiyu's eyes were already lingering on the edge, and finally fell on Qin Hezhou's chest, flowing down along the ravine to his heart.

"You came into my life quietly, like my shadow. When I got used to it and accepted it, you were still imagining that you had never been here?"

The tears and her slightly trembling voice together intensified the bitterness in his heart.

It felt like an invisible hand was gripping my heart tightly, it hurt so much.

No one knew how things would develop to this point. It was just a casual chat, but it turned from a nightmare into this.

Perhaps it was excessive sensitivity after waking up from a dream, or perhaps it was indeed an outburst of long-accumulated emotions.

Pei Zhiyu bit her lower lip but still couldn't hold back the tears.

I was no longer able to cry, and the strength in my hands became much less.

"I, am..." His mouth was free again, and he wanted to comfort her, but he subconsciously blurted out sorry again.

Fortunately, I braked in time.

Qin Hezhou kept silent and changed his approach, his soft lips lightly kissing her under her eyes.

Pei Zhiyu was still in a daze, and his lips fell one after another, tirelessly, as if he wanted to swallow all her tears and hope to take away her resentment at the same time.

"So, if we hadn't met again on the blind date, you would have just left me and gone after one night, right?"

"!!!" Qin Hezhou was stunned and his expression was tense.

The more he was at a loss for words to explain, the more panicked he seemed, as if she had hit the nail on the head.

When Pei Zhiyu was about to sentence him to death, he struggled to get the rational part of his brain working.

"no!"

"Everything is not what you imagined." As he spoke, he held her arm tightly, fearing that she would disappear before he could finish his words.

Even though, this is in my own home.

"What's going on?" Pei Zhiyu sobbed, "I don't understand, I really don't understand..."

She was crying so hard that her speech was incoherent.

Qin Hezhou was not in a hurry to give an answer. He just soothed her emotions over and over again, wanting to wait for her to calm down before saying anything else.

In fact, it is not difficult to see that she was probably greatly affected by the dream and may not have fully recovered from the nightmare.

After all, Pei Zhiyu had nightmares very frequently during this period, and continuous lack of sleep would also affect a person's thinking patterns.

After crying for a while, she finally calmed down a little, but she couldn't stop sobbing because she couldn't catch her breath.

Qin Hezhou patiently helped her calm down and was about to get to the point: "If you feel better now, let's talk about everything one by one, okay?"

Pei Zhiyu was speechless and could only nod and blink to express his agreement.

He breathed a sigh of relief and brought up a recent incident. "What you just said, about me always apologizing and saying 'If I hadn't shown up, you'd be better off,' was indeed my fault."
