Chapter 13: Bull and Force
Ji Yunzhou controlled Gu Yuan's body, not even bothering to lift a finger.
He just glanced at the female ghost casually with his cold dark red eyes.
“Plop!”
The female ghost seemed to be pressed to the ground by an invisible giant hand!
Her entire soul was tightly imprisoned by an irresistible force originating from the level of laws!
Can't move!
"Please... spare my life..."
The ghost girl struggled to squeeze out a plea from her soul, her voice broken: "I'm just... I'm just too hungry... One hundred years... One hundred years of loneliness... I..."
She wanted to tell her suffering and gain some sympathy.
"puff--"
With a slight sound, Ji Yunzhou moved his fingers slightly, and a dark green flame appeared out of thin air and began to spread over the female ghost.
The flame seemed weak, but it made the female ghost scream heart-wrenchingly.
"Things that harm others are not worth bargaining for."
Ji Yunzhou said coldly, watching the female ghost gradually turn into ashes in the flames.
Gu Yuan was stunned in the depths of his consciousness.
He knew that Ji Yunzhou was very powerful, but could he kill a ghost that had practiced Taoism for a hundred years with just a flick of his finger?
There was no chance to resist in front of him.
Be strong and force it!
Ji Yunzhou should have been allowed to go up earlier.
At the moment when the female ghost completely disappeared, an extremely subtle golden light flashed and sank into the Five Emperors' Coins on his wrist.
The golden light was so faint that it was almost invisible. If Gu Yuan was born with the ability to see Yin and Yang, he would not be able to detect it at all.
The golden light did not give him the feeling of yin energy.
"Ji Yunzhou, that golden light just now..."
"Shut up, it's not over yet."
Ji Yunzhou interrupted him and glanced at the dense forest around him.
"Gu Yuan" was seen making seals with his hands and reciting an obscure spell.
As the spell was completed, the entire old forest was suddenly filled with strong winds, the trees shook violently, and countless dark shadows were forcibly pulled over from all directions.
There are floating white ghosts, translucent animal spirits, and even several zombies in varying stages of decay.
When did so many ghost things appear in this forest?
No wonder the yin energy is so strong!
Gu Yuan looked at these strange ghosts and couldn't help but feel curious. These things obviously came from other places recently.
These demons and monsters were gathered together by an invisible force, forming a twisted vortex.
They struggled and screamed, but could not escape.
"Ji... Ji Yunzhou! What... what do you want to do?"
Gu Yuan's consciousness was screaming in the corner, and his voice was out of tune.
To provoke so many at once? Is he crazy?!
Although he had learned some exorcism spells from Grandpa Lin, he had never seen such a scene.
Ji Yunzhou replied in his mind: "They are just a bunch of troublemakers who are not presentable. What are they doing here? They will pollute the air."
Before he finished speaking, he waved his hand, and the gathered ghosts were instantly compressed into a small black ball.
Ji Yunzhou controlled Gu Yuan's hand and gently squeezed it. The small ball exploded silently and turned into countless light points that dissipated in the air.
Faint golden light sank into the Five Emperors' Coins and then disappeared.
The entire old forest suddenly became brighter, and the suffocating coldness disappeared.
The sunlight was finally able to penetrate the treetops, casting mottled shadows on the ground.
"alright."
Ji Yunzhou stretched lazily and said, "This broken place is finally quiet."
Gu Yuan felt that control was slowly returning to his hands.
When his consciousness regained control of his body, the first feeling he had was unprecedented fatigue.
"You...you are always like this...like this..."
He gasped for a long time before he could barely find his voice, feeling exhausted and scared after surviving a disaster.
Looking at his still slightly shaking hands, he uttered two words with difficulty: "...violence?"
He felt that this word was too light, this was simply a devastating crush!
"Violence?"
Ji Yunzhou's lazy and sarcastic voice immediately rang in his mind:
"Little boy, your knowledge is as shallow as the puddle at the village entrance. You don't even know what real 'violence' is.
If I hadn't been concerned that your mortal body, barely stronger than paper, wouldn't be able to withstand the slightest force and would fall apart, I could have uprooted this obstructing mountain with that one grip and crushed it into mud."
His tone was full of contempt, as if to say, "You are too weak and you limit my performance."
Gu Yuan curled his lips and didn't refute.
He checked the wound on his shoulder and found it had healed.
It was obvious that Ji Yunzhou was treating him.
"Don't look at it."
Ji Yunzhou's voice interrupted his inspection with a subtle awkwardness.
"I took care of you. I don't want you to die in such a miserable place. If you die, it will have a great impact on me."
He deliberately emphasized the words "great impact", as if he was just stating an objective fact.
But Gu Yuan's heart was inexplicably moved.
He recalled Ji Yunzhou's words "my people" and the "convenient" treatment...
This guy...seems...
It seems, maybe... not that bad?
At least, I won't watch him die?
"oh…"
Gu Yuan responded softly and was about to leave when he suddenly noticed that the Five Emperors' Coins on his wrist seemed to be brighter than before.
He examined them carefully and found that the runes on the five copper coins, which were originally blurry, were now clearly visible and faintly glowed with golden light.
"Ji Yunzhou, these Five Emperors' Coins..."
"Is it annoying?"
Ji Yunzhou interrupted him impatiently, his tone full of "Why do you have so many questions?"
"Are you done yet? Get back here! If you dawdle any longer, I can't guarantee that some other unsuspecting fish might sniff the air and come over! If that happens, I won't be interested in being your thug again!"
Gu Yuan knew that he would get nothing out of asking any more questions, so he gave up.
He took a last look at the old forest that had returned to peace, turned and walked towards the village.
On the way back to the village, Gu Yuan felt very complicated.
Ji Yunzhou...his words are really vicious, his heart is really hard, and his actions are even more ruthless and merciless...
But...it seems like he really won't let himself die?
So is there any hope for him to survive?
"Hello."
Gu Yuan called out to Ji Yunzhou in his mind: "Thank you for your help today."
No matter what Ji Yunzhou's purpose was, he did save me today and cleared the entire forest.
He has to acknowledge this "love".
No response.
He didn't know Ji Yunzhou's inner conflict.
On the one hand, he was absolutely certain that it was because of that damned blood pact that made him feel an inappropriate closeness and protective desire towards this weak human.
On the other hand, he was extremely annoyed that he couldn't completely control his emotions, and even attracted more unnecessary attention because of this guy.
This feeling of being out of control made him extremely uncomfortable, so he simply chose to remain silent and isolate himself.
Gu Yuan sighed and looked up at Heli Village where smoke was curling up in the distance.
There were people walking around and everything looked so peaceful.
