Looking at the calm Li Chuan, and looking at Ji Yunzhou, who was still quiet but whose aura had noticeably softened, his heart was filled with a warm emotion.
This is the daily life of the world, this is the warmth of home.
It was a treasure that he had lost, but luckily found again, and he was determined to protect it with everything.
As for the undercurrents hidden beneath the calm surface... With Ji Yunzhou around, he seemed to have the courage to face everything.
The dinner came to an end in a harmonious atmosphere.

He responded softly, his voice more resolute than ever before.

On the other side, Li Chuan's car was much quieter.
Gu Jing was probably tired and a little tipsy. He leaned back in the passenger seat, closed his eyes, and breathed steadily.
Li Chuan slowed down the car to make the driving smoother.
