Chapter 16

Chapter 16

Since acquiring this shuttle, she has visited extraordinary places, and now she has even ventured into a prison in another world.

Fu Le shrank back, breaking away from the encirclement of these people and maintaining a safe distance of more than one meter until she was almost against the wall. Ouch... the wall was too cold, like a block of ice. She didn't want to stick to it. Luckily it wasn't summer, or she would have frozen to death.

The old man could tell from Fu Le's actions that she was wary of them, and he couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed.

“Yu, ask her where she came from and how she was arrested. If she wants to ask anything, you can tell her that we won’t bully her, but can we touch the cloth on her body? We don’t want it, we just want to touch it.” The green-haired, silver-eyed man said to the red-faced old man.

The red-faced old man was somewhat troubled. "She is very wary of us. We'll be living together until the end, so we shouldn't pressure her too much. Or, we could share some food with her, which would help us get closer to her."

Fu Le appeared to be in a daze, but she was actually wary of the group of whispering men and women opposite her. They would look at her from time to time, and even though they couldn't understand each other's languages, she knew that it was a topic about her.

A moment later, the red-faced old man stood up and took a few steps forward. Fu Le's heart tightened, and he moved laterally to a more distant position. "What are you trying to do?"

“My name is Yu. We are all from the Lama tribe. We were expelled for making a mistake, so we left our territory and accidentally wandered into the territory of the Mechanical Tribe. Then we were captured. We have no ill intentions. We just hope that we can exchange some cloth with you. We will trade this for what you are wearing.” Yu stretched out her hand, and in her palm lay a silver circle, like a bare ring.

Fu Le was confused and looked at the old man with doubt. Did he want her clothes in exchange for a useless ring? If she didn't give them, would she be beaten? Or would they just gang up on her and forcibly take off her clothes?

The thought of that scene made Fu Le's nerves tense to the limit, and she prepared to pull out her criminal calming device—a chainsaw.

She was about to be humiliated, so she didn't care whether there was human blood on her hands!

"This is a ring for storing things. Inside are a hundred Qiqi fruits, which will be very beneficial to your health. I checked you when you were unconscious earlier, and you were very weak. The environment here is not good. If you don't use the Qiqi fruits to improve your health, you may not last long." As he spoke, the old man took the ring and turned it around. Several white fruits, about the size of a fist, appeared on the ground, but they had a strong, pleasant fruity fragrance.

Fu Le stopped pulling out the chainsaw and looked at the fruit on the ground. "Give it all to me? Including that ring?" Isn't that the legendary spatial ring?! Fu Le's heart was pounding in his chest. These people, they don't look like they're from the cultivation world at all, how come they have spatial rings?

"Yes, the ring is only ten cubic meters, not very big, but you can put some things you like in it, um, if you can get out." The Lama people all know how to make meson rings; it's an innate ability. The size of the ring depends on the strength of their ability; the stronger their ability, the larger the meson memory space they can make.

“Okay.” It was clear that the old man didn’t care about the ring, so it seemed that portable spaces were quite common among people like them. So, Fu Le casually pulled out a rag. Cough cough… just a rag. She had accidentally put it in the shop while cleaning. Anyway, it was all cloth, so it was fine.

The old man was surprised to see that Fu Le also had a pair of cloths. However, their tribe often traded cloths with other tribes, so it was normal for the person in front of them to have one. They were just glad they had gotten the cloth.

Fu Le took the melon and examined it over and over, unsure of how to collect the fruit from the ground.

"When you wear it on your finger, the meson will automatically collect your genes. If you want to store something, just touch the substance and say 'collect' in your mind," the old man explained automatically as he saw Fu Le's actions.

Fu Le hesitated, worried about a trap. He put the fruit back into the shuttle and picked up the fruit on the ground to improve his health. He decided to wait until he got out of there. It wouldn't be good if something strange happened in front of these people.

Seeing that Fu Le was still wary, Yu sighed, took out her own Qiqi fruit, and swallowed it in a few bites in front of Fu Le. Her eyes and actions were all telling her that it was not poisonous.

Fu Le: ...

For reasons unknown, Fu Le took out the giant's original boiled meat, then took out a knife, cut off a small piece, and stuffed it into his mouth.

This action silenced the Lama people, who had been excitedly chirping crickets, once again.

The air suddenly went quiet. Fu Le looked over in surprise and found that all the Lama people opposite him were staring intently at him, their eyes fixed on the meat in their hands. They looked like people who hadn't eaten meat in years, and they were about to rush over and snatch it.

I was careless!!

"Would you like to try some?" Considering the kindness they showed her by giving her a piece of meat, she was willing to share it; this piece weighed only two or three pounds.

This time, the silver-eyed man took a few steps forward, then knelt down under Fu Le's wary gaze. With a pious expression, he took the meat from Fu Le's hands and crawled back down on his knees.

Fu Le: !!! Why is that?

"Thank you for bestowing such precious food upon our Lama people. I am willing to offer my most precious weapon, the Wings of Light. I hope you will treat it well." Yu stepped forward, raising her hands to hold a small sword, more than a foot long, in her palms.

Fu Le stared in astonishment at the small sword in the old man's palm. A piece of flesh, in exchange for his most precious sword? It was just a small dagger; she didn't need it.

Fu Le shook her head. A gentleman does not take what others cherish. Although she is a woman, she also adheres to the virtues of a gentleman.

Seeing that Fu Le did not accept, Yu said sincerely, "This sword was made by our clan's elder. It was bestowed upon me by the clan chief when I made great contributions to the clan. It can be long or short, and can be transformed at will. Let me demonstrate it for you."

Before Fu Le could react, Yu waved his hand, and the small sword in his palm turned into a whip, then into a long sword more than a meter long, then into a silver stone, and finally into a piece of meat, exactly the same as the meat in Fu Le's hand. "Whatever the master thinks, it can be transformed, but its true form is always a weapon. No matter what it transforms into, it cannot be eaten."

After the demonstration, it was presented again with both hands.

Fu Le licked her lips, suddenly realizing she didn't want to be a gentleman anymore. So, she took it. "Thank you. How do I bind this to someone?"

"The blood of a nobleman will suffice."

Fu Le didn't immediately claim it as his own. "Does whoever dripped blood on it become its master?" What if someone else picks it up and it's lost?
