After saying this, Xu Hongyuan called Yaosheng closer. Yaosheng looked at Mahavairocana and asked fearfully, "I'm not going to go blind too, am I?"
"Hahaha." Mahavairocana laughed loudly, then glanced at Yaosheng and said, "Don't be afraid, you have no sins, so you don't need to go blind to atone for your sins."
Yao Sheng was relieved upon hearing this, and the Great Sun Tathagata said to Xu Hongyuan, "Please ask the Spiritual God You Yi to report to the Emperor Hong Qing. I, a humble monk, will follow the Dharma order and teach the Medicine King Sutra to the monk Yao Sheng."
Upon hearing this, Xu Hongyuan immediately bowed his head and said, "Then I'll have to trouble the Great Sun Tathagata Buddha."
After saying this, Xu Hongyuan said to Yao Sheng, "Just stay here and study the Medicine King Sutra with the Great Sun Tathagata Buddha. Someone will come to pick you up after the ceremony."
Yao Sheng bowed and said, "I will obey the divine command."
Xu Hongyuan nodded, then nodded and smiled at Lihua and Zhuang Yantong. Then he stepped on the fairy light, jumped into the sky, and disappeared in the blink of an eye.
After Xu Hongyuan left, Mahavairocana asked Yaosheng to sit with "Jingzong", and Yaosheng respectfully accepted the order.
Then, the Buddha sat down again, glanced at Lihua standing beside him, and said, "Daoyou Hongjun has taught you the true meaning. There is no need for me to guide you. Go back and meditate on it. If you can understand it thoroughly, it will be of great benefit to your practice."
Lihua was slightly startled when she heard this, but then she came to her senses and bowed to the Mahavairocana Buddha, saying, "Thank you, Venerable Mahavairocana Buddha, for your guidance."
For some reason, Lihua and Zhuang Yantong didn't like Vairocana Buddha's way of "saving people" deep down in their hearts, nor did they like this way of teaching Buddhism.
But looking at the monks on the stone platform behind them who were coming one after another to ask the Vairocana Buddha for the way and enlightenment, the two looked at each other, feeling very puzzled.
