Upon hearing this, Maitreya Buddha immediately stood up and bowed, saying, "Tathagata, the Buddha, the Dharma Ending Age has not yet passed, and I am afraid that it will be difficult for my disciples to uphold the Dharma and lead the Buddhist community."
The Tathagata Buddha said, "All dharmas and buddhas are enlightened. The future world will be determined by you. After the grand court meeting, I will go to the Muni Palace in the chaotic Yuyu Heaven outside the heavens to cultivate the great way. If you have any unenlightened dharma, you can come to the Muni Palace to see me."
Hearing this, Maitreya Buddha finally felt relieved and bowed, saying, "Disciple will follow the Buddha's command."
All the gods and goddesses in Heaven, Taoism, Demonic Sect and Xuan Sect looked towards Buddhism. The Tathagata Buddha handed over the authority to rule Buddhism to the East Buddha in advance. Although the "future" is still not here, the future Buddha has already begun to rule Buddhism.
Afterwards, Tathagata Buddha raised his hand and waved it. A golden Buddha light flew out from Tathagata Buddha's hand and landed in front of Maitreya Buddha with a magic weapon.
"This is the innate spiritual treasure 'Golden Lotus Platform', the treasure that governs the Western Paradise. I now bestow it upon you to establish your position in the Dharma."
After Tathagata Buddha finished speaking, the golden spiritual platform immediately flew to the feet of Maitreya Buddha, and then quickly changed, carrying Maitreya Buddha on it. Golden lotus light surged up, protecting Maitreya Buddha inside.
At this moment, Maitreya Buddha also completely obtained the right to dominate the "Golden Lotus Platform", which means that he has officially taken over the authority to rule Buddhism from Tathagata Buddha.
At this time, the Tathagata Buddha said, "From now on, I will be the founder of the Buddhist path. I will reside in the heavens, paving the way for my Buddhist sect and will not enter the mortal world. You will be the founder of the Buddhist sect, presiding over the present Buddhist sect and spreading all the righteous Dharma."
Upon hearing this, the Buddha from the East immediately clasped his hands together, bowed, and said, "Disciple will follow the Buddha's command."
In Buddhism, except for the ancient Buddha Dipankara, starting from Medicine Master Vaidurya Light King Buddha, all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Arhats, immortals and gods all bowed to Maitreya Buddha and said, "Greetings to the Buddha from the East."
The Buddha from the East smiled like Kasyapa and said to all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, immortals and gods, "No need to bow."
After the Buddhist monks had finished their formalities and stood up, Tathagata Buddha said to the Jade Emperor, "Your Excellency, I have already made all the necessary arrangements for the Buddhist sect."
The Jade Emperor nodded slightly, then said, "The Pure Source Wonderful Dao Zhao Hui Ren Sheng Emperor, the Taiyi Central Altar Xuan Wei Zhen Wu Emperor."
Erlang Shen and Nezha immediately turned around and bowed, saying, "Your Majesty, I am here."
The Jade Emperor said, "All the immortals, wandering immortals, and cultivators who participated in stabilizing the Three Realms and eliminating the calamity, regardless of whether they are immortals, demons, Buddhas, or ghosts, should be treated equally, rewarded generously for their virtue, and rewarded generously for their achievements. No mistakes should be made. The matters of rewarding meritorious service during the calamity should be decided by the two of you. Remember, you must be fair and just, and treat everyone equally. You must not wrong our ministers, officers, soldiers, and immortal cultivators."
Upon hearing this, Erlang Shen and Nezha immediately bowed and said, "We, your servants, will faithfully follow the Great Celestial Venerable's decree and reward merits fairly and impartially. We will never dare to bend the law for personal gain and betray the Great Celestial Venerable's high expectations."
Then the Jade Emperor said to Nuwa, "Do you have any plans, fellow Daoist?"
Nuwa smiled without saying a word, and just shook her head slightly when she heard this.
The Jade Emperor nodded slightly upon seeing this, and then bestowed upon him a Jade Word: "Everything has been decided. From now on, all affairs of the Heavenly Court will be managed by the Four Emperors of Lingxiao. The Supreme Jade Spirit Palace has been granted to the Four Emperors of Lingxiao for the purpose of daily meetings."
After saying this, the Jade Emperor waved his sleeves and said, "The court is dismissed."
Then the Jade Emperor, Taiyuan Daozu, Tathagata Buddha and Nuwa Niangniang turned into mysterious light and disappeared, and their trace could no longer be found.
All the immortals and gods from the Heavenly Court, Daoist sects, Buddhist sects, demonic sects, and Xuan sects immediately bowed and said, "Farewell to the Jade Emperor, the Great Celestial Venerable, and to Taiyuan Daozu and Nuwa Niangniang (Tathagata Buddha)."
The Jade Emperor needed no explanation. Taiyuan Daozu was the founder of the Dao, determining the path of cultivation for all beings under the Dao, so everyone should send him off respectfully. Nuwa created the human race, and now every major sect has human disciples, so Nuwa also needs to send him off respectfully.
Only Tathagata Buddha is the founder of Buddhism, so naturally only Buddhist disciples will send him off respectfully.
After the Jade Emperor and the other three left, the Five Imperial Emperors also transformed into immortal light and left with everyone's farewell.
Finally, Fang Jian turned around and said to the mighty beings and immortals in the Lingxiao Palace, "The grand court meeting is over, and the court is dismissed!"
Yan Hui, the Grand Envoy of the Taixuan Province, immediately announced loudly, "The decree of the Emperor Taisu Daozhen Zhongtian Doushu Xuantian Puhua: The grand court meeting is over, and the court is dismissed. Please ask all immortals and gods to exit the Lingxiao Palace in an orderly manner."
Then, Fang Jian and his three companions, with the respectful farewell of the immortals and gods, transformed into immortal light and left the Lingxiao Palace. Then the emperors and Daluo left one after another, and the immortals and gods below Daluo and emperors walked out of the Lingxiao Palace one after another.
