After getting out of the car, she jogged all the way back to the Mo family's door.
Looking at the slightly dilapidated villa reminded her of the happy life her family of four had when her parents were alive.
If she hadn't been so willful back then, her parents wouldn't have died, and she and her brother wouldn't be living the life they have now.
This was perhaps divine retribution for her, so she told herself that she must take good care of her younger brother for the rest of her life so that she would have the face to face her parents in the future.
The door suddenly opened, and a plump woman walked out. The woman looked at Mo Xiaotuo with disdain and yelled, "What are you standing there for? Get in here and help me!"
Mo Xiaotuo frowned but didn't speak. This was Liu Ma, a servant of the Mo family. Liu Ma always looked at her with disdain, and she was used to it. She obediently followed Liu Ma into the house.
