Mingjie felt that it was really quite abstract.
Isn't it normal that Shen Zhiyi doesn't want him to hug her?
Given their past relationship, it would be a miracle if she didn't kill him.
“Here’s what I’m suggesting,” he said, “Since Shen Zhiyi can’t see, why don’t you look at her work and life and see if there’s anything you can do to help her.”
"Once she's less resistant to you and changes her opinion of you, she might be willing to let you hug her."
Mingjie was also quite apprehensive.
If Yang-ge regains his memory in the future and remembers that Shen Zhiyi is his mortal enemy, will he regret being so close to her now?
But from the beginning, he suspected that Yang-ge had other feelings for Shen Zhiyi.
He was too focused on her.
Would a person really spend so much time and effort on someone they dislike?
He didn't believe it.
Perhaps Yang-ge is only now revealing his true feelings because he has lost his memory.
In short, he had to help his brother out.
"Work? Life?"
Xie Huaiyang unconsciously tapped his fingertips lightly on the table.
The image of the pile of perfume bottles in the living room and the large perfume mixing table flashed through my mind, and my fingers suddenly stopped. "Yes, it seems she's working as a perfumer now."
"Perfume?" Mingjie was surprised for a moment. "That's easy, you can just use her as a human test strip."
"In that case, she won't be disgusted; instead, she'll take the initiative to get closer to you."
"When the time comes, with all the tugging and sniffing, plus the atmosphere created by the perfume, you two might just end up hugging each other soon."
Pulling and tugging?
Smell and sniff?
Xie Huaiyang imagined several scenes in his mind, and his ears turned slightly red.
He coughed lightly.
Hearing rustling noises outside, he immediately jumped up and said, "What a terrible idea! I'm hanging up."
Mingjie looked at the screen indicating the end of the call and scratched his head.
He thought it was a great idea...
Xie Huaiyang opened the door.
Seeing Shen Zhiyi's long hair loosely tied up, like a moon-white camellia, quietly blooming in front of the perfumer's station.
Her fingertips traced the Braille label on the bottle, her profile focused, her empty eyes staring at a point in the void.
Her movements were fluid and graceful.
But it was like a fine needle, piercing Xie Huaiyang's heart unexpectedly.
A dense, aching sensation welled up in his chest, and his eyes and brows ached with heartache.
How much effort did she put in behind these seemingly skillful movements?
How many setbacks and failures have they experienced?
He dared not think about it further.
If he wasn't by her side at that moment, then all the resistance he's experiencing now from her is his just deserts.
He gripped the door frame tightly with his fingertips.
Shen Zhiyi heard a faint sound, her hand holding the spices paused, and her wrist accidentally knocked over a spice bottle.
A large hand caught it steadily.
A warm breath enveloped my back.
Shen Zhiyi smelled the unique, wild, and untamed fragrance that belonged only to him, and her lowered eyelashes trembled slightly.
Xie Huaiyang put the bottle back in its original place, then picked up the spice bottle she had just reached for and placed it in her palm. "Is this the one?"
He stood behind her, his posture suggesting he was about to pull her into his arms.
“…Hmm.” Shen Zhiyi turned slightly to the side, but bumped into his broad chest and was suddenly startled.
"Why are you hiding?" Xie Huaiyang anticipated her movements, placed his arm on the perfume station, and gently pulled her into his arms, a lazy smile curving his lips.
"I didn't hold you," he explained in a low voice, but there was a playful smirk in his voice. "The baby snuggled into my arms on his own."
A blush rose on Shen Zhiyi's cheeks.
Feeling somewhat embarrassed and annoyed, she swung her elbow and bumped him backward.
"Leave me alone."
"I'm not bothering you." Xie Huaiyang grunted, rubbing his chest where she had bumped him. A few strands of hair fell across his forehead, obscuring the smile spreading across his arrogant eyes.
He let go of her hand and stood beside her like an obedient big dog. "Tell me what you want, and I'll get it for you."
Shen Zhiyi did not refuse.
I was definitely in a bit of a rush to try out the fragrance this time.
"Second row, eighth one, please get it for me."
Xie Huaiyang immediately took out the amber-colored bottle and placed it in her hand. "This one?"
Shen Zhiyi touched the Braille label on it and nodded gently.
"Um."
She weighed the bottle in her hand and frowned slightly.
Skillfully open the bottle cap and bring the bottle opening close to your nose.
