Chapter 139: No Love Talk with My Arranged Marriage Husband, But Fierce Kissing (3)

Shen Zhiyi followed him closely.

Yan Jili has long legs, so he takes big strides and quickly leaves Shen Zhiyi behind.

"Hey! Wait..." Shen Zhiyi jogged after him and angrily grabbed his sleeve.

She looked up at him, her expression angry.

"You walk so fast, I can't keep up."

Yan Jili was momentarily stunned by the force of the pull on his sleeve.

He stopped in his tracks.

She looked down at Shen Zhiyi.

Her fair face was flushed pink from running a few steps.

Her red lips parted slightly.

He was breathing heavily.

Her eyes shimmered, captivating his heart.

Yan Jili's eyes were dark, and his gaze went from top to bottom, stopping at the fingertips she was pinching.

Shen Zhiyi inexplicably felt a sense of oppression.

She let go of his hand as if burned by his gaze.

"Could you walk a little slower?"

She looked up and glanced at him.

He quickly lowered his gaze again and muttered softly.

"I was exhausted from chasing after him."

Yan Jili glanced over the path he had just walked.

A path paved with bluestone slabs.

It is not completely flat.

Then I looked at her feet in high heels.

The shoes have delicate, light pink toes with a smooth surface, covered with tiny water droplets, giving them a slightly rushed and messy appearance.

It seemed that even the raindrops and dew could not withstand such a short distance.

It is as delicate as its owner.

He looked away, paused, and spoke in a deep voice.

"Stay close."

After saying that, he turned away and refused to look at her again.

But his pace slowed down noticeably.

Shen Zhiyi paused for a moment, then smiled and followed.

...

When Shen Zhiyi came out of the restroom, Yan Jili was nowhere to be seen.

She remembered Grandma Yan's instructions.

Did he go to the bedroom to get the box?

Shen Zhiyi looked around.

The courtyard was in the style of a Chinese garden, with several winding corridors, and she had long forgotten the way she came.

I could only rely on my memory and walk uncertainly toward one of the corners of the corridor.

Yan Jili entered the master bedroom.

I saw the sandalwood box on the bedside table.

As I reached for it, my gaze suddenly fell on my sleeve.

The suit fabric is crisp and structured.

The fingertips marks on it have long since disappeared.

But for some reason, he reached out and stroked the fabric that no longer seemed cold and hard.

When you realize what you're doing.

Yan Jili frowned.

He looked down at his fingertips.

He tensed his jaw, picked up the sandalwood box, turned around, and strode out.

The gardens meandered around.

His steps, however, were unwavering, steadily and powerfully traversing every corner.

The green tiles are stained with ink, and beads hang from the eaves.

Half-dried water droplets hung there, and as he turned a corner, they finally absorbed the raindrops and, under the influence of gravity, fell to the ground with a soft thud.

Yan Jili was bumped into by a figure.

"Um... I'm sorry!"

Shen Zhiyi raised her head.

She instinctively grabbed his collar with both hands to maintain her balance.

Yan Jili supported her waist.

In just a moment, it was withdrawn.

But that soft, delicate touch lingered in my palm for a long time.

He curled his fingertips, and smelled a faint scent of gardenias, which smelled especially pleasant in the crisp air after the rain.

He lowered his eyes.

I saw a face with a red nose.

Small.

Looking up to him.

Her hair was slightly disheveled...

Yan Jili's Adam's apple bobbed, and his eyes lowered.

"let go."

His tone was flat and cold.

But the hand holding the sandalwood box involuntarily turned to one side to avoid the sharp edges hitting her.

"Ah... I'm sorry..." Shen Zhiyi exclaimed softly, bracing herself against his chest to steady herself and separating herself from him a little.

But her eyes secretly glanced at his chest.

Hmm...

It was a little bigger than she had imagined.

But it is indeed very hard...

She blushed slightly and looked away.

The warmth and aroma suddenly vanished.

Yan Jili suddenly felt as if something was missing from his arms.

This is an extremely unfamiliar and uncomfortable feeling.

Yan Jili's brows furrowed deeply, and a hint of impatience crept into his eyes.

What are you doing here?

The restroom is at the other end.

He had already shown her the way, so she shouldn't be unable to recognize the place after such a short distance...

"I'm lost." Shen Zhiyi's eyes were clear.

Yan Jili: ...

Before he could even utter the word "stupid," Shen Zhiyi frowned and looked at him with accusatory eyes.

"You left me alone in such an unfamiliar place."

"They all look the same."

"When I came out, I didn't see a single person."

"The wind is still strong, and the road is so quiet, I'm a little scared..."

As she spoke, her red lips pursed slightly, and she let out soft, kitten-like moans, one sentence after another, crashing down on him.

Yan Jili pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Feel sorry."

"It was my oversight."

He was surprised by his own subconscious apology, paused for a moment, then walked past her and moved forward.

Let's go.

"Let's go back together."

When the two returned to their table together, Grandma Yan's wrinkles around her eyes were all squeezed together with laughter.

"Good, good, you've finally figured it out, kid."

"This time they've learned to be polite, knowing to come back with others."

She looked at Shen Zhiyi with a smile.

It has to be the granddaughter-in-law she has chosen.

Just so lovable!

Normally, this kid would never agree to lead the way.

Are you waiting for someone?

That's something I wouldn't even dare to dream of!
