The night was deep, and I sank into despair several times.
Yan Jili stared incredulously at the person beneath him who was crying and begging for mercy.
Let the sweat drip down.
It mingled with her gardenia scent.
His eyes were red at the corners.
In the darkness, I clearly saw the dark side of my personality, revealing so much shame and wickedness hidden within.
She had already begged him like that.
But he had no intention of stopping; he even wanted to push her to the point of further breakdown and weeping...
He didn't know that he could have such boundless energy, coming back again and again, as excited and tireless as a young boy.
He had no idea that she had such a way of seducing him.
Clinging tightly to his desire, she endured it all with fear and trembling, yet instinctively refused to let him go.
He had never indulged himself so unrestrainedly before.
But she turned him into a slave to his delusions, making him unable to stop, and even willingly falling into depravity with her...
Goblin... Goblin!
In his anger and loss of control, Yan Jili resented and hated her, and gave her the most severe and cruel punishment and torment.
Even though he suffered along with them.
He enjoyed her sobbing and panting.
Yet, she sighed with satisfaction because of her pleasure and involuntary trembling.
With the deepest love and desire, in the dim light of the dark night, he insatiably traced her face, again and again, until it was etched into his heart.
I felt a flutter in my heart that even reason could not suppress.
He admitted that she was beautiful.
She looks beautiful when she smiles sweetly and lively during the day.
She looks even more beautiful now, with her face flushed, her hair disheveled, and her face broken as she cries.
He didn't know that a person could possess such captivating charm even in the darkness.
It makes people involuntarily intoxicated and addicted.
He didn't want anyone to see her like this.
She is already his wife.
It can only be his!
A strong sense of possessiveness rose in Yan Jili's heart.
That was a self-imposed purgatory that no legal document could separate from his pronouncement.
They unilaterally imprisoned her as well.
They wouldn't even allow her to escape.
This new obsession occupied the most longed corner of his heart, its intensity and power even surpassing his most sacred and proud logical deduction.
Yan Jili looked at the exhausted person beneath him, and an indescribable feeling of tenderness welled up in his chest.
He stood up, still holding her in his arms.
He placed several gentle, soothing kisses on her lips.
He kissed away her tears.
Let her comfortably lean against him.
Turn on the bedside lamp by turning to the side.
Then she opened the bedside table drawer and took out a square green velvet box.
Because of his actions, Shen Zhiyi couldn't help but sob softly again.
She clung to him.
I felt as if every nerve in my body was being swarmed and bitten by electric current.
This made her cry for a while.
Yan Jili embraced her and whispered soothing kisses in her ear.
"It's not working again?"
"How pitiful, my goodness," he sighed softly.
"Where did the strength that made you so aggressive a few days ago go?" A low, husky laugh, tinged with a pleasant tone, escaped from his throat.
Shen Zhiyi didn't even have the strength to glare at him anymore.
But they refused to admit defeat.
He strained with all his might, straining with all his might, and finally managed to elicit a soft hiss.
Yan Jili gripped her chin, nearly losing control.
"She went astray."
His voice was hoarse as he kissed her lips in revenge.
Shen Zhiyi hummed weakly, drifting within the boundaries he had set for her, her eyes closed, letting him do as he pleased.
Yan Jili released her lips.
Shen Zhiyi slowly came to her senses and then realized that a cold jeweled necklace had appeared around her neck at some point.
She touched it and looked down.
It is jade.
The teardrop-shaped main stone lay there quietly, like half a lake of spring water frozen in the snow. Its texture was translucent, and it was clear at a glance that it was of the imperial green grade.
The band around her neck is made of dazzling diamonds.
She couldn't take her eyes off her.
"It suits you very well." Yan Jili stared admiringly at the scene adorned by the necklace, his breathing becoming heavier.
He lifted her wrist and took out another full-green jadeite bracelet of the same type from the box, then helped her put it on.
The size is just right.
He held her wrist, raised it halfway up the wall, and let her admire it.
"When did you buy it?" Shen Zhiyi asked in surprise.
“In the next couple of days.” He glanced at the velvet box on the bed. “There’s also a pair of earrings, a set. You can wear them yourself tomorrow.”
Even the most coveted jewels at auctions pale in comparison to the one in his hand.
Yan Jili lowered his head and kissed her hair.
Do you like it?
"Mmm." Shen Zhiyi couldn't put it down.
Expensive gemstones are tempting to anyone.
What's more, it's at such a rare level.
Although she was weak, she couldn't help but keep looking.
Yan Jili felt inexplicably jealous.
He shifted, forcing her to focus her attention back on him.
"Do you prefer this, or the jade?"
Shen Zhiyi blushed deeply.
What kind of question is that...?
She didn't want to answer...
Yan Jili, however, did not let her off the hook and insisted on getting a definite answer from her.
The night was dark and silent.
A new round of clashes is about to begin...
The torment only ended when Shen Zhiyi could no longer bear it and was forced to say "I like you more."
*
The next day.
Yan Jili returned to the law firm, feeling refreshed and invigorated.
After listening to Zhang Leyang's report, he and the HR manager checked the last item in the performance appraisal.
