A clean and clear face drew closer to me.
Chi Wangye saw the sunlight casting dappled patterns on her face, filtering through her soft, chestnut-brown short hair, and creating a faint golden halo around her eyelashes and the tip of her nose.
With each breath and movement, those points of light and shadow created tiny, butterfly-like fragments on her fair and rosy face.
He could hear his heart pounding.
Like the butterflies on her face, they flew into his heart in an instant, dancing wildly amidst the deafening noise.
Chi Wangye's gaze was fixed on her small, round lips.
A bright red dot.
Like waiting for someone to pick and kiss it.
His eyes darkened, and he quickly put the mask on her face.
He covered up his own fluttering, unfamiliar, and confusing desires.
He brushed her hair aside.
Carefully hook the mask straps behind her ears.
Then you can see her lovely earlobes, which are as pink as her cheeks.
She trembled slightly the moment her fingertips brushed against her skin.
She lowered her head shyly.
Chi Wangye's Adam's apple bobbed as he stared at the swirling tuft of hair on the top of her head, a huge voice shouting in his mind.
Hold her in your arms.
Hold her in your arms.
The noise was too loud.
Even the gods found it noisy and couldn't stand it.
He then mercifully sprinkled a little light on him, giving him a chance to illuminate his unspoken desire.
A passerby walked by from a short distance away, eyeing them with curiosity.
Chi Wangye's palms were damp. He lowered his eyelashes to conceal the dark light in his eyes, and quickly pulled up the hat on her back, covering her head with it.
Then he applied force with his large hand.
He pressed her against his chest.
Shen Zhiyi was slightly taken aback.
"What's wrong?"
"Don't look, there's someone there," he whispered in her ear.
Perhaps the sunlight was too intense.
Or perhaps, she is just too perfect.
He no longer suppressed his feelings, laying bare his dark thoughts and letting them roam freely in his chest.
With his other hand, he boldly climbed up her waist.
He held her tightly and securely in his arms.
Shen Zhiyi's face flushed slightly.
“It’s okay…” she whispered, “I’m wearing a mask.”
"Don't you know?" Chi Wangye's low voice, carrying a warm breath, fell on her hair.
He said, "Your eyes are also very memorable."
"Once you see it, it's unforgettable."
Shen Zhiyi blushed completely.
She leaned gently against his chest, as if talking to herself, or perhaps sighing, "Chi Wangye, your heart is beating so fast."
Chi Wangye wanted to say.
yes.
Because there are so many butterflies flying around there.
But he said, "Yeah, I just trained, it was a lot of exercise."
He watched the passersby walk away.
He reluctantly let go of her.
He took off her hat and helped her brush her hair aside.
“Chi Wangye…” Shen Zhiyi said, “Let me add you on WeChat. I haven’t transferred the money for breakfast last time to you yet.”
Chi Wangye stopped moving.
He withdrew his hand and looked at her with a serious expression.
"Is most of your money with Shen Nanfeng?"
Shen Zhiyi thought for a moment and nodded.
"Yes, the usual expenses are all paid through his account."
"You're so stupid." Chi Wangye frowned, took a card out of his coat pocket, and handed it to her.
"I need your contact information, but you don't need to pay for breakfast."
"From now on, you will use this card."
"Don't waste Chen Nanfeng's money."
Shen Zhiyi stared at him blankly, her red lips parted into a small mouth in surprise, "Isn't this inappropriate?"
How can I spend your money?
She used her brother's money without a care in the world.
But she and Chi Wangye had only known each other for a few days and weren't even close friends, so how could she possibly spend his money?
Chi Wangye frowned, pulled her hand, and pressed the card into her palm.
"If you want me to continue covering this up for you, then keep it safe."
"In short, don't get involved with Shen Nanfeng anymore."
You are you, not anyone else.
He stared intently at her. "Do you know?"
His gaze was direct and intense, and his eyes shone with genuine sincerity.
Shen Zhiyi lowered her head in shame.
"Thanks……"
"Then I'll keep it for now."
Anyway, she doesn't need it.
Chi Wangye breathed a sigh of relief, took off his coat, and wrapped it around her waist.
"Hold my coat for me."
"When we're watching the game later, if the chairs are dirty and hot, we can use this as a cushion."
“By the way…” he lowered his voice, “cover your legs.”
"Don't get sunburned."
Shen Zhiyi lifted up her long sleeves that were hanging down.
His coat was oversized.
Even though she tied a knot around her waist, it still covered almost half of her lower body.
"Isn't it inappropriate to sit on your clothes?"
She said, "You'll get your clothes dirty later."
Chi Wangye was somewhat annoyed that she always used unfamiliar words like "no," "thank you," and "sorry" when she spoke to him.
He tilted his head back slightly, his stray hairs casting shadows on his headband, making him look unruly and difficult to deal with.
"There's nothing wrong with it."
He said casually, "If you don't help me hold it, I'll just leave it on the chair anyway. What if someone picks it up later?"
"So what if it gets dirty?"
"I'm a boy, I have a lot of dirty clothes."
"We don't need this one."
He turned around and showed her his jersey number, "I'm number 7. Come cheer me on and give me water later, don't get me wrong."
