Shen Zhiyi stared wide-eyed. "Why are you lying to the fish?"
Chi Wangye laughed, his eyebrows and eyes unrestrained, and even his chest vibrated.
"Just as stupid as you."
"Who's stupid?" Shen Zhiyi snatched the bread from his hand, tore off the crumbs, and threw them into the lake.
“Good fish, good fish, we won’t argue with those who have bad intentions.”
Looking at her smiling eyes, Chi Wangye was suddenly moved.
He thought.
How many fish would flock to someone as gentle and radiant as her?
He was just a tiny, insignificant part of it.
“Shen Xiaoyi, you’re quite the angler.” He spoke suddenly, his eyes dark and deep.
Shen Zhiyi paused for a moment, then turned to look at him.
Where did I fish?
Chi Wangye turned his head away, a slight smile playing on his lips, but his eyes couldn't meet hers. A sense of loss, which he himself wasn't even aware of, filled his gaze as he murmured, "Giving you so many benefits, if I were a fish, I would be completely captivated by you."
Shen Zhiyi's eyes curved slightly.
"But you're not a fish."
She said earnestly, "You are the person sitting next to me."
Chi Wangye suddenly turned his head and looked at her in shock.
My heart, which had just sunk, began to beat again because of her simple, seemingly unintentional remark.
The sound was deafening.
It drowned out all the sounds that had descended upon the world at that moment.
He cursed inwardly.
Shen Xiaoyi, you might as well try to trap me to death.
Chi Wangye's ears turned red, and he got up in a panic.
"Are you full?"
"Walk around a couple of times to digest, then I'll take you to see your friends."
"Mm." Shen Zhiyi also got up. Seeing that he seemed to be avoiding her gaze, she was afraid that he would feel embarrassed, so she took out a Bluetooth earphone from her bag and handed it to him.

He took her hand, coughed lightly, and said, "It's getting dark, shall I take your hand and we go out?"
His palms were burning hot.
Shen Zhiyi blushed slowly under his burning gaze and whispered an "Mmm".
Chi Wangye then gripped her tightly.
"Stay tuned, you idiot."
Shen Zhiyi looked at his arrogant profile, and her heart began to pound uncontrollably.
She had forgotten the reason she made up for going shopping in order to get away.
With the force of his firm grip, I followed his steps, circling again and again in the night.
Until the stars fell from the sky above them.
They still share headphones, listen to music, and take walks together.
Their hands were clasped tightly together, as if they would never let go.
The music and drumbeats that came through their ears redeemed them from their heartbeats.
The summer night was slightly cool.
They didn't drink, yet they were both intoxicated by the evening breeze.
