Dating?
Chi Wangye was taken aback.
My heart started pounding.
He squatted down in front of her, looked up, met her misty eyes, and desperately suppressed the surging desire within him to embrace her.
His eyes darkened, and he asked her in a low voice.
"Shen Xiaoyi, would you like to go on a date with me?"
Shen Zhiyi was also stunned.
The fan whirred, its rapidly spinning blades sounding like the shared heartbeats of two people echoing in the quiet summer night.
The wind was cool, but it couldn't dispel the heat on my face.
Shen Zhiyi blushed and nodded gently.
"I...I do..."
All the restless cells in Chi Wangye's body exploded in that instant.
She's willing!
She's willing to date me!
Overwhelmed by intense joy, Chi Wangye instinctively braced his hands on either side of the chair and leaned towards her.
Shen Zhiyi was startled by his movement and leaned back in her chair.
Chi Wangye stopped two fists away from her.
His eyes swept downwards with a deep, dark look.
He looked at his own arms, which had trapped her between himself and the chair.
His large hand gripped the side of the chair tightly.
Only then could I control myself and not rush up to hug her...
Even... kiss her.
He swallowed hard and whispered, "Don't be afraid."
"I'm so happy."
She simply agreed to go on a date with him, giving him a chance to pursue her.
so……
We can't do anything yet.
Chi Wangye took a deep breath and restrained himself from letting go.
He stood up, picked up the towel again, carefully and gently wrapped it around her hair, and gently wiped it.
His usually languid eyes and brows, however, were unusually adorned with a serious and pure radiant smile.
"Shen Xiaoyi, I'm really happy."
He repeated himself meaninglessly.
I laid bare my clear and joyful heart to her.
Amidst his inexplicable joy, Shen Zhiyi couldn't help but curl the corners of her lips into a smile.
She lowered her head.
Feeling a little shy, I felt his fingertips moving and massaging through my hair, through the towel.
call……
Even with the fan blowing, it's still so hot...
Her gaze drifted and landed on the perfume bottle on his desk.
She thought of his usual stylish outfits and the clean, refreshing minty grapefruit scent she occasionally smelled on him.
Her eyes were curved.
He's someone who's very willing to spend time taking care of himself.
No wonder, when he takes care of people, he is completely different from his usual fierce and arrogant demeanor.
She is very gentle.
It's also very meticulous.
"Chi Wangye, do you like pomelos?" She casually started a conversation to ease the overly heated and awkward atmosphere between them.
He nodded slightly. "Yes."
What about you? What kind of fragrance do you like?
She always had a soft, gentle feel to her, as if she carried a natural gardenia fragrance.
He naturally assumed that she liked sweet floral and fruity scents.
Unexpectedly, Shen Zhiyi thought for a moment and said, "I like woody unisex fragrances."
"It doesn't smell cloying."
Woody scent?
Chi Wangye was taken aback.
He blurted out, "You smell better than any perfume."
"I don't get tired of the smell."
Shen Zhiyi suddenly looked up at him.
The already dry, soft strands of hair slipped through his fingers without warning.
It stirred up a tingling, itchy sensation.
When Chi Wangye met her bewildered and shocked eyes, his ears turned bright red.
He stammered, "I... I meant to say..."
He thought for a long time about how to phrase it, and finally decided to admit that what he had just said was entirely his sincere thought.
There was no hint of mockery involved.
"That's exactly what I meant."
"Shen Xiaoyi, you smell wonderful."
After he finished speaking, he wished he could bite off his own tongue.
Why is this getting more and more bizarre?
Shen Zhiyi, who was initially shocked and blushing, couldn't help but laugh when she saw his anxious explanation and extremely annoyed expression.
"Um."
"If you like it, smell it some more."
Chi Wangye stopped abruptly. "Shen Xiaoyi, are you laughing at me?"
"I'm not a dog, why would I sniff around everywhere?"
He put down the towel and started scratching her neck.
"Try laughing at me again?"
He noticed while drying her hair that whenever he touched the sides of her neck, she would subconsciously shrug her shoulders.
It must be because it's ticklish.
Sure enough, Shen Zhiyi almost jumped up from her chair.
"Chi Wangye!"
She covered her neck, her face flushed, and glared at him, "How dare you tickle me!"
Chi Wangye stood outside, a wanton smile curving his lips.
"Just you."
He reached out and scratched the other side of her neck.
Shen Zhiyi screamed, covered her neck, jumped up from the chair, and pounced on him.
"Chi Wangye! You're dead!"
Before her hand could even touch him, her loose pants slipped down from her waist.
"ah--"
Shen Zhiyi staggered forward and fell.
At the critical moment.
Chi Wangye reached out and pulled her off balance into his arms.
He held her thigh with one hand and lifted her upright to his chest.
With his other hand, he pressed down on her waistband, which had slipped down to her tailbone.
I lifted it up a little.
Shen Zhiyi subconsciously pressed her hands on his shoulders, looked down at his face with disordered breathing, and froze.
The air suddenly became quiet.
Only their rapidly beating hearts remained.
Shen Zhiyi could clearly feel the warmth of his palm seeping into her skin through the fabric.
The hand on her waist sent a jolt of electricity down her spine, making her feel numb all over.
