Shen Zhiyi blankly loosened her grip.
He pried open her lips and breathed into her mouth.
Chi Wangye kissed her urgently, his brows furrowed, showing little lingering affection.
After exchanging breaths, they separated a little distance.
She was standing there with her lips parted, still looking dazed.
He gave the order with a mixture of helplessness and anxiety.
"Idiot, breathe!"
Shen Zhiyi let out a soft breath.
Chi Wangye was relieved and pressed her head down, letting her lean against his chest.
"Don't scare me like that next time."
Shen Zhiyi didn't reply; she gently closed her eyelids, as if she had fallen asleep.
Chi Wangye extended his fingertip and checked her breath.
He let out a heavy sigh.

Shen Zhiyi hummed and hawed.
He uttered a string of incoherent complaints.

He glanced sideways, staring at her trembling eyelashes.
"Shen Xiaoyi, what is one plus one?"
"Two." Shen Zhiyi slowly opened her lips.
Chi Wangye smiled. "Classes on Saturday?"
"No." Shen Zhiyi shook her head blankly, her eyes half-closed.
"Do you prefer apples or pears?"
"pear."
"Do you like Ikemono?"
"Um."
Chi Wangye stopped in his tracks.
He turned his head to look at her again.
He saw her head tilted to the side, lips parted, as she fell completely asleep on his shoulder.
He tilted his head back and blinked his steaming eyes.
He turned around again and touched her face with his.
"Idiot."
"Chi Wangye likes you too."
