Slap his hand away.
"Who promised to be with you for life?"
"Who said we'd never be apart?"
"You filled these in yourself, I didn't say anything."
She took the flowers, leaned in to smell them, and said, "The flowers are beautiful, so I won't hold it against you for now."
Chi Wangye, however, reacted as if his hair had been bristled, snatching the flower and placing it on the ground to the side.
He leaned in closer.
He placed his hands on either side of the sofa, trapping her in the middle.
"Will you tell or not?"
"What did you say?" Shen Zhiyi looked at him blankly.
Chi Wangye pressed down on her until she was leaning back on the sofa and had no choice but to look up at him.
He hovered above her, asking somewhat stubbornly.
"Would you like to spend your whole life with me?"
"Should we never separate?"

Chi Wangye lowered his head and kissed her lips.
Then they parted, his eyes lingering on hers, "The first word was wrong."

"Never to be apart."
"I just can't do anything with you."
Chi Wangye smiled, hugged her waist, lifted her up, and pressed her against his chest.
"Shen Xiaoyi, be a good girl."
"You must not forget what you said."
"It certainly cannot be disregarded."
He whispered in her ear.
“If you’re lying to me…” Chi Wangye suddenly turned his head and bit her earlobe, “I’ll kiss you until you cry.”
Shen Zhiyi was breathing rapidly and remained silent for a long time.
"What's wrong?" Chi Wangye subconsciously checked her breathing.
Shen Zhiyi grasped his fingertips.
Her face flushed red, she looked up at him, peering over his muscular chest.
