Chapter 203 After losing her memory, she was taken home by her cunning ex-boyfriend (6)

"Who likes it..." Shen Zhiyi buried her face in his chest, "It's a little embarrassing..."

"Don't be afraid," Jiang Jinwang said, his heart softening. "You have bandages wrapped around your head, they'll understand."

"If you don't like so many people, then when you go home, it'll just be the two of us."

He looked down at her.

They wished that the world would only consist of them.

He didn't care about those stares.

I don't care what others think or how they see it.

All he knew was that...

He came back to life because of her.

This will be the first time since he started studying medicine that he has felt a genuine, thrilling joy from the resuscitation of life.

He's been numb for too long.

Jiang Jinwang carried her to the car and carefully placed her in the passenger seat.

Help her fasten her seatbelt.

"Didn't they say the driver went to get something?" Shen Zhiyi glanced out the window in confusion. "Aren't we going to wait for him?"

Jiang Jinwang brushed her hair aside.

"He'll be driving another car and will help us take our luggage back later."

"There are only us in this car."

He wanted to prolong the time he could spend alone with her as much as possible.

I don't want to miss a single second.

They also don't want to share it with anyone.

Shen Zhiyi leaned back in her seat.

I watched him open the door and get into the car.

I saw him, just as I remembered, with his fingertips resting on the steering wheel, glancing at me habitually before starting the car.

She saw his thin lips slightly upturned when he looked at her.

And the deep emotions that welled up in his dark eyes were clearly visible.

She couldn't help but smile too.

"Let's drive," she said, lowering her eyelashes and her cheeks flushed. "Don't keep looking at me."

"Hmm." Jiang Jinwang looked away.

"From now on, I'll listen to you."

He was happy to let her take control of her destiny.

Jiang Jinwang started the vehicle and looked up at the distant, chaotic road ahead.

Perhaps at the next crossroads, he will eventually sail towards ruins, towards an endless, desolate island of loneliness.

But as long as she's sitting next to him at this moment.

It was all worth it.

He would drive her along a road lined with flowers and surrounded by colorful clouds.

Then, I saw her off the bus.

A person heads towards the end of darkness.

That was the place he was destined to go, burdened with sin.

He is willing to go.

...

When she arrived home, Shen Zhiyi was somewhat surprised.

Why are my shoes new?

She looked at the brand-new pink slippers in the entryway, somewhat puzzled.

Jiang Jinwang squatted down and helped her change her shoes.

Strands of hair fell down, covering his eyelashes.

It makes it impossible to see their expressions.

“You said before that those shoes were a bit uncomfortable and hurt your feet.” He gently lifted her feet and placed them into the soft cotton slippers. “So I bought new ones.”

Do you like it?

Shen Zhiyi stomped her feet twice on the spot.

"Hmm...it's quite comfortable."

She frowned.

How could she not remember disliking those slippers from before?

She shook her head.

My head feels a little sore.

"What's wrong?" Jiang Jinwang stood up anxiously and helped her. "Are you feeling unwell?"

After recovering, Shen Zhiyi gently shook her head.

"fine."

He half-embraced her and pulled her to sit down on the sofa.

"Where are the flowers I bought?" She tilted her head and stared at the empty coffee table.

Somewhat confused, he met Jiang Jin's quiet gaze.

“You’ve been sick for several days, and I was in the hospital too. The flowers withered because no one took care of them.” He swallowed lightly and said calmly, “I just threw them away.”

Jiang Jinwang gently embraced her.

"Let's go for a walk tomorrow and buy a new one."

"OK?"

"Living room, bedroom, balcony," he glanced at the empty house, which had long lost its warmth for him. "Buy more, put in whatever you like."

When they broke up, she packed up and took almost all of her belongings with her.

He collected only some fragments she had forgotten.

The house, with her departure, lost its original colors.

It became empty and cold.

Just like his heart.

She needs to fill it back up.

"Hmm." Shen Zhiyi leaned against him, glancing around at the furnishings in the room. "Jiang Jinwang, have I... forgotten something?"

Why does it feel like so many of my things are missing from my home?

"It feels so strange."

Jiang Jinwang's body stiffened.

"What nonsense are you talking about?" He took a deep breath. "Nothing of the sort."

"Since you're recovering from your injury, you need things to be clean and tidy, so I hired a cleaning lady to do a thorough cleaning, throwing away all the old stuff and replacing everything with new things."

He held her hand and said apologetically, "Will you be upset that I took it upon myself to do this?"

Shen Zhiyi looked up at him.

Jiang Jinwang paused, then added, "If you don't like it, we'll buy everything again."

"Do whatever you like."

"OK?"

Shen Zhiyi still frowned as she looked at him.

You're lying to me.

Jiang Jinwang's heart skipped a beat.

"What happened between us before the car accident?" Shen Zhiyi crawled out of his arms and straightened up. "Jiang Jinwang, tell me honestly."

Why has everything in my home changed?

Jiang Jinwang felt his heart tremble as he looked into the clear, watery light in her eyes.

He panicked uncontrollably.

He reached out and held her tightly in his arms.

His fingertips trembled, and even his tall frame couldn't help but tremble slightly.

"I'm sorry, baby..."

His heart sank to the bottom. "We had an argument before the car accident."
