After Song Mingzhao left, Shen Zhiyi insisted on cooking for Jiang Jinwang.
"I can take care of these things."
Jiang Jinwang hugged her tenderly.
"Xiao Yi, go and rest."
She must have been exhausted from taking care of him.
"How can that be?" Shen Zhiyi took the apron and put it on. "I'm perfectly fine, how can I let a sick person like you take care of me?"
"Besides..." She looked up at him with a smile, "I've been learning these dishes for a long time. If you don't try my cooking, wouldn't all my learning have been for nothing?"

Jiang Jinwang rested his chin on her shoulder and remained silent for a while before suddenly turning his head and kissing her earlobe.
“I am so grateful…” he sighed, “What have I done to deserve this?”
Shen Zhiyi laughed and dodged his lips, "Jiang Jinwang, it tickles."
How am I supposed to cook if you're like this?
“Let’s do it this way.” Jiang Jinwang hugged her even tighter. “From now on, wherever you go, I’ll stick to you.”
Shen Zhiyi chuckled.
I had no choice but to let him go.
She prepared the ingredients at the island counter, then went to the stove to get a pot.
The people behind her seemed to be an extension of her, following her every step.
But those hands just wouldn't stay still.
Slowly stroking upwards along her waistline.
Those slender fingers even parted a little of the hem of her clothes, slipped inside, and lingered at her navel, drawing circles.

Shen Zhiyi's ears turned bright red, and she gently nudged him with her elbow.

"You're not hungry, but I am."
"Oh... Xiaoyi's hungry." Jiang Jinwang mischievously misinterpreted her words, placing his large hand on her lower abdomen. "Are you hungry here?"

She looked up and met his deep, smiling eyes, which were filled with intense love and affection, which he made no attempt to conceal.
"I feel a little happy," Jiang Jinwang sighed.
He cradled the back of her neck, lowered his head, and kissed her lips. "So happy."
"Xiaoyi, thank you for coming back."
He repeated it over and over again.
Shen Zhiyi's legs almost went weak from his sticky kisses.
"Hmm... let me cook..."
"Okay." Jiang Jinwang parted his lips, touched her nose gently, and said, "Xiaoyi, eat your fill first."
Shen Zhiyi understood the meaning behind his words and blushed deeply again.
However, he didn't bother her anymore.
While cooking, perhaps to prevent oil splattering on her, he simply held her properly, like a large ornament hanging behind her.
