Shen Zhiyi grabbed his fist, cupped it in her palm, and examined it. "Does it hurt?"
Shang Zeyan's expression softened. "It doesn't hurt."
Ji's father was so angry that he vomited blood.
He's the one who's in pain!
Police sirens sounded outside the door.
Several plainclothes police officers rushed in and quickly handcuffed and restrained Ji's father.
"Mr. Shang, please cooperate with us and your wife to come back and give a statement."
Shang Zeyan nodded.
He took Shen Zhiyi's hand and led her outside.
Shang Zeyan's security team also arrived, and the driver helped them open the car door.
Shen Zhiyi's eyes flickered.
Holding Shang Zeyan's hand, she said, "Zeyan, I want to be alone with you."
Shang Zeyan's heart melted.

"I'll drive."
He helped Shen Zhiyi into the passenger seat and bent down to fasten her seatbelt.
"Were you scared?" He cupped half of Shen Zhiyi's face in one hand, gently stroking it, his eyes full of heartache. "If you're tired, take a nap on the way."
"I'll call you when it's time."
"Mm." Shen Zhiyi nodded.
Shang Zeyan kissed her forehead, straightened up, and closed the car door.
Shen Zhiyi's gaze fell on the brake in the driver's seat.
He then lowered his eyes and looked away without making a sound.
The insecurity stemming from constantly worrying about gains and losses requires a profound ordeal to be completely cured.
She wanted Shang Zeyan to believe in her love.

She had intended to tamper with the brakes.

Shang Zeyan walked to the driver's seat and closed the car door.

Shen Zhiyi opened her eyes.
They discovered their car was speeding down the mountain!
Shang Zeyan gripped the steering wheel, his eyes sharp and focused on the road ahead.
The wind howled past.
His face gradually turned ashen.
"I'll catch up with the security team in a bit. Open the car door and jump into their car!"
He can get into trouble, but Zhiyi can't!
"No!" Shen Zhiyi refused, gripping the seatbelt, her gaze towards Shang Zeyan firm and passionate. "We'll jump out of the car together. No matter what, I want to be with you!"
Shang Zeyan's pupils dilated in shock.
