When Fu Yinzhou returned to the villa, it was already past 11 p.m.
Ai Lu pushed the wheelchair in.
Fu Yinzhou leaned back in his chair, his eyes closed, his face pale.
She was still clutching Shen Zhiyi's apron tightly in her hand.
"What's wrong with the young master?!"
The housekeeper and Shen Zhiyi immediately went to greet them.
Ai Lu shook his head, seemingly unwilling to say more, and only said, "Take him upstairs to rest, I'll come back to pick him up tomorrow at noon."
"What did you take him to do?" Shen Zhiyi asked anxiously. "He's already like this, are you going again tomorrow?"
Ailu and the butler both fell silent.
Fu Yinzhou opened his eyes a crack, coughed twice, and grabbed Shen Zhiyi's wrist with pale lips.
"I'm fine."
"I just feel a little dizzy from sitting in the car for so long."
“Zhizhi…” He held her fingertips and pressed his face against her wrist. “Take me upstairs to rest.”
"I want to sleep."
"Okay." Hearing that he was speaking in a weak voice, Shen Zhiyi quickly pushed the wheelchair upstairs. "I'll take you up."
The housekeeper also went up to help.
After they finished tidying up and moved Fu Yinzhou to the bed, the butler said to Shen Zhiyi with a worried look, "You will keep an eye on the young master tonight. His condition is not good, and I am afraid that something might happen."
Shen Zhiyi nodded.
"good."
"I'll stay here and keep watch."
The butler was relieved and left, closing the door behind him.
Shen Zhiyi sat on the edge of the bed, looking at Fu Yinzhou, who was exhausted with his eyes closed, and a look of heartache crossed her face.
She took his hand and sat down on the chair by the bed.
Given his condition, she had no interest in asking him about his "white moonlight" (ideal love).
All she wanted was for him to be healthy.
Fu Yinzhou twitched his fingertips and opened his eyes, "Zhizhi..."
He tugged at her.
"Would you like to come to bed with me?" A low voice, weary and tender, rang out in the darkness. "I want to hug you."
“I’m a little tired today…” he paused, then said.
Shen Zhiyi was heartbroken.
All she could think about was getting him cured.
Without any hesitation, she immediately took off her shoes and coat, climbed into his bed, and lay down beside him.
"Okay, young master, hold me while I sleep."
She had already washed up by 10 o'clock.
She hadn't expected him to be so late.
Fu Yinzhou turned around, his voice a little hoarse, "I can't move."
"Zhizhi, come closer to me."
Shen Zhiyi moved over and hugged him.
Fu Yinzhou lay in her arms, his arms encircling her waist, pulling her a little closer to him.
Then, he pressed his hand against her neck and closed his eyes.
The sweet fragrance of gardenias lingers around you.
Fu Yinzhou felt as if he had come back to life.
After a day of inhuman torture, I could smell the scent of life again.
"Zhizhi, thank you," he said softly.
Besides receiving treatment today, he also received some news.
In the past, Fu Sheng had hired a well-known hypnotist in the industry at a high price.
He went to great lengths to find out that the person he had hypnotized back then was Zhizhi.
Fu Yinzhou recalled the information he had seen today.
It says so.
Because Zhizhi didn't want to forget him, didn't want to forget the memories between them, she developed strong resistance during the hypnosis process.
Therefore, they cannot delete the entire memory.
All that can be done is erase his face and his name.
His Zhizhi has not forgotten him.
Instead, she used all her strength to keep him in her memory...
Fu Yinzhou's body trembled.
Shen Zhiyi felt a warmth on her neck and was stunned for a moment.
"Young Master, are you crying?"
She stepped back a little and cupped his face in her hands.
Sure enough, I could feel the wet tear stains on her cheeks.
What's wrong?
Fu Yinzhou looked at her face, illuminated by the moonlight, which was lovely and radiant.
An overwhelming sense of self-reproach and pity welled up within her.
"It's all my fault..." he said hoarsely, covering her hand. "I shouldn't have left you all alone..."
He shouldn't have left her in the orphanage.
They shouldn't have let her so-called parents take her away without thoroughly investigating the matter.
They must have received money from Fu Sheng.
Over the years, I don't know if Zhizhi has ever truly cared for him.
He really wanted to ask her.
Does a person suffer as they grow up?
Have you been bullied?
Becoming a doctor requires a tremendous amount of effort.
During that time, who stayed with her and encouraged her?
Fu Yinzhou began to resent himself.
Why was he not by her side so many times?
But at this moment, he couldn't utter a sound.
All the reunion he longed for could not happen without guaranteeing her safety.
He would never let her encounter any danger again.
Shen Zhiyi was completely confused.
"Young Master, are you referring to the time you left me at the villa today?"
She wiped away his tears and said gently, "I'm fine."
"The housekeeper didn't ask me to do much today, and I'm quite happy here in the villa."
"I'm just a little worried about you..." she coughed lightly, blushing, "about your health."
"If you're worried, you can take me with you when you go out tomorrow."
"I'll go with you."
Fu Yinzhou froze.
"Need not."
He was in so much pain during his treatment today that he bit his own lips and tongue, and his mouth was full of blood.
Later, they stuffed a towel into his mouth, and he managed to endure it.
