The moment he touched the cup, his eyes widened in horror, and he screamed, "Aaaaaah! It's hot! It's hot!"
"Li Yunqian, are you trying to scald me to death?!"
He glared at them angrily and threw the cup away.
Most of the coffee was spilled, splashing onto the back of Li Yunqian's hand.
A red mark quickly spread across her fair skin.
Shen Zhiyi appeared at that very moment.
What came into view was the scene of Li Yunqian being harassed by Lü Mingyou and even having coffee thrown on him.
She rushed over anxiously.
Are you alright?
Shen Zhiyi pulled Li Yunqian's hand, saw the burns on it, and angrily turned to question Lü Mingyou: "He kindly bought you coffee, and you not only didn't appreciate it, but you treated him like this!"
"He's my assistant, not someone you can use for your amusement!"
"Little darling, I'm fine." Li Yunqian held her hand reassuringly. "It's not worth getting into a conflict with your colleagues because of me."
Lü Mingyou was stunned.
He could hardly believe his ears.
"At a time like this, you're still thinking about others?" Shen Zhiyi frowned, pulled Li Yunqian, and went to wash him under the tap not far away.
Lu Mingyou was petrified in place.
He stared at them blankly.
Suddenly, it occurred to him that Li Yunqian had held the scalding cup with one hand without even flinching.

Lu Mingyou clenched his fist, indignant.
Shen Zhiyi held Li Yunqian's hand and said worriedly, "How could you be so careless? Someone was about to spill coffee on you, and you didn't even dodge. Aren't you usually the most alert?"
Li Yunqian's large hand was gripped by her, his eyes like those of a wet, large dog, and he said softly, "I've never done this before, so I'm not very skilled."
"I didn't know he wanted to drink such hot coffee."
