Shen Zhiyi hesitated for a moment, just as she was about to reply, when her phone suddenly vibrated.
It was an unfamiliar number.
Her heart tightened, and she answered the phone, "Hello."
"Excuse me, are you Shen Zhiyi? This is the Human Resources Department of Yuantu Technology."
"Yes, that's me."

After the call ended, Shen Zhiyi remained standing there, still holding her phone.
It took her a full five seconds to realize—
YuanTu Technology!
A top-tier company in the industry! They actually hired her?!
She opened her email in disbelief and, sure enough, found a formal offer letter!
Shen Zhiyi rubbed her eyes again and again before she was sure she wasn't dreaming.
Aaaaaaaahhhhhh!
She jumped up and down excitedly, then eagerly opened the chat window with Bo Xu.
"You're eating, right?"
"Sure! It's on me!"
Bo Xu quickly sent a message, sounding a little aggrieved, "Sister, you haven't replied for so long. I thought you were thinking about how to reject me."
"It's already a great favor that my sister has graced me with her presence for dinner. How could I possibly ask her to treat me?"
"Let me do it."
Shen Zhiyi refused repeatedly, "How can that be? You're only a freshman in college. Keep your money for yourself."
"I'm starting work soon, and I'll be very rich!"
Bo Xu laughed out loud.
"Which company did your sister get hired? You seem so happy."
Shen Zhiyi: "Have you heard of Yuantu Technology?"
When Bo Xu saw the name, his gaze shifted to the code he had just written, and he paused slightly.

This time it was Shen Zhiyi's turn to be surprised.
This company is quite well-known, yet he, a computer science student, didn't know it.
This is like a college student not knowing CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) or not knowing Xuewang (a bubble tea brand) when buying milk tea.
Is this reasonable?
"It's okay if you don't know. You'll find out when you start looking for a job," Shen Zhiyi said happily. "What do you want to eat?"
Bo Xu: "I'm new here and not familiar with the area. You can decide, sister."
Shen Zhiyi: "How about we have hot pot?"
"There's a hot pot restaurant near our school that's so delicious that if I ever have the money in the future, I'd like to invest in it."
Bo Xu smiled and said, "Okay."
"I want to try the things my sister likes too."
He sent this message via voice.
Shen Zhiyi felt her face flush again upon hearing this.
She felt it was really bad to be infatuated with a younger brother's voice all day, so she changed the subject and asked, "What do you want to do when you have money in the future?"
"Me?" Bo Xu thought for a moment, "Maybe... I'll donate a building to the school."
Shen Zhiyi was stunned for a moment, then laughed.
"You said you'd never heard of Yuantu Technology? Did you see that news too?"
Bo Xu asked, puzzled, "What news?"
Shen Zhiyi: "It's tomorrow. People from Yuantu Technology will be coming to our school for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. They just donated a building to our school!"
"I just don't know which leader will be coming tomorrow."
Bo Xu found it somewhat strange.
"Maybe I'm too much of a homebody, I didn't see any notices from the school."
Shen Zhiyi thought about it and agreed.
"You've only been at school a short time, so it's normal that you don't know," she said enthusiastically. "But it's sure to be crowded tomorrow, so let's go eat hot pot during off-peak hours!"
Bo Xu immediately replied, "Then it's settled."
"Meet me at the statue next to Panyue Lake on campus at 10 a.m. tomorrow."
"Sister, you can't stand me up."
Shen Zhiyi chuckled, "Don't worry, I'll definitely be there."
The next day, Shen Zhiyi wore a soft, beige fitted knit dress, draped an apricot-colored cardigan over her shoulders, braided her hair to the side and let it fall over one shoulder, wore a pair of pearl earrings, and carried a bag as she headed out.
Mingyue, who had just returned from the postgraduate entrance exam preparation room to get her materials, was stunned when she saw her.
"Dressed so nicely? Something's up?!"
She snapped two photos and posted them in the group chat, "How come Zhiyi got kidnapped after I only moved out for a few days???"
Liang Zaixiao: "Holy crap, is this the same Zhiyi I interviewed with Niu Ma a few days ago? She's so beautiful, she's practically asking for trouble!"
She took a picture of herself wearing trousers while waiting for an interview: "People's joys and sorrows are not shared."
Su Mian: "Who is that man?! Tell me, who is he?!"
Shen Zhiyi was both amused and exasperated.
"No, I'm just going to see a friend."
"Although he's a guy, we're really just friends."
Mingyue chuckled, clearly not believing her. She tossed aside her study materials, pulled a brand new lipstick from her makeup bag, and shoved it into Shen Zhiyi's hand.
"This will match your outfit perfectly!"
"No need," Shen Zhiyi waved her hand. "I'm going to eat hot pot later."
Mingyue's eyes widened.
"In your four years of university, I've never seen you get close to any guy. Now you're going to eat hot pot alone with a guy?"
"Apply it quickly."
"We're friends now, but who knows, we might become boyfriends later."
"Mine is just right – it doesn't stick to the cup and the color doesn't fade."
Shen Zhiyi couldn't persuade her otherwise, so she applied the cream, pursed her lips, and said, "I'm only a freshman, we're really just friends."
Mingyue pinched the philtrum.
"Good, good, good! You've already made plans for your younger brother!"
She grabbed Shen Zhiyi's hand and spun him around. "He's really lucky. He got to talk about such a beautiful woman. Looks like her! Figure like her!"
