Shen Zhiyi laughed after hearing this, "Easier said than done, do you think you can give it to me?"
Li Yunqian stroked her chin slowly with his thumb, his eyes dark and unfathomable. "Little darling, do you want my true heart?"
Shen Zhiyi lowered her eyes.
He thought to himself, "Does asking me mean you'll give it to me?"
Is that still considered sincerity?
She patted his hand. "Don't talk about that now. Write the love letter first."
"I'm waiting to see."
Li Yunqian raised an eyebrow. "Okay."
An hour later.
Shen Zhiyi stared wide-eyed at the "love letter" he handed over, her face turning bright red.
"Li Yunqian!"
She crumpled up the paper and threw it at him, yelling, "What kind of nonsense is this?!"
His expression of liking was far too specific!
Even the most outrageous articles she'd ever read weren't as perverted as his.
Her cheeks were burning, and she paced back and forth.
"You, you're harassing me!" she accused, pointing a trembling finger at him.
Li Yunqian pressed down on the crumpled paper that had hit him in the chest, his eyes crinkling with a smile, but he feigned ignorance and asked, "Didn't you want a love letter, little darling?"
“Every word and every sentence I wrote was from the bottom of my heart. How can this be called harassment?”
"No one is more honest than me."
He took a step closer to her and unfolded the paper. "Little Darling, you said before that you wanted me to read it, right?"
Shen Zhiyi's eyes widened, and she suddenly stopped in her tracks.
She immediately pounced on him, covered his mouth, and warned through gritted teeth, "If you dare to read it, you're dead!"
She had never used so much force in her life. Covering his mouth wasn't enough; she also raised her foot and stomped on him several times.
"Pervert, pervert!"
It's one thing to say you like someone, but to describe in such detail what he did for her and what he said to her!
She's going to tear up that letter in a minute.
If someone saw her, her reputation would be ruined.
Li Yunqian took the opportunity to put his arm around her waist, laughing so hard his chest vibrated.
He lowered his eyes, staring at her rosy face, his heart melting like water.
So cute!
His master.
Shen Zhiyi was so angry that he didn't eat dinner.
She sent Li Yunqian to the guest room, saying that whether he died from the heat of the air conditioner or from being smashed to death on the floor, she didn't care anymore.
At night, she tossed and turned in bed, her stomach rumbling incessantly.
"It's his fault, why should I go hungry?"
She lifted the covers and quietly opened the bedroom door.
The living room was completely dark, and there was no sound from the guest bedroom.
She crept stealthily to the refrigerator, opened it, and found it filled with vegetables wrapped in plastic wrap.
He made all of them, plate after plate.
Shen Zhiyi's mind stirred slightly, and just as she was about to reach out to take it, a very soft sigh suddenly came from beside her.
She was startled and turned around abruptly.
She saw Li Yunqian standing behind the open refrigerator door, looking at her with a mixture of helplessness and amusement.
"Next time you're angry with me, will you still starve yourself?"
Shen Zhiyi clutched her chest, calming her shock. Looking at his doting eyes, she felt a pang of guilt and turned her head away, saying, "It's none of your business."
"I'm going to deduct points from your account, all of them!"
Li Yunqian looked at her puffed-up face, illuminated by the refrigerator light, and his expression softened for a moment.
"Making Xiaoguai angry deserves a deduction."
He picked her up horizontally and pressed his cheek against hers. "But don't button it all the way up, okay?"
"I really know I was wrong."
Shen Zhiyi snorted, kicked and struggled in his arms.
Why are you hugging me?
"Put me down right now!"
Li Yunqian didn't let go, carrying her towards the dining table, turning on the light, and gently placing her on the chair.
"Now that you're the master, do you still need to do these little things yourself?" He looked down at her, his voice low and gentle. "Sit still and just tell me what to do."
He touched her face, turned around and walked to the refrigerator, taking out the food one by one and heating it up for her.
Shen Zhiyi watched his busy figure, rested her chin on her hand, and pursed her lips.
If you say he's good, sometimes he really is.
If you want to call him bad, no one is worse than him!
Shen Zhiyi sat cross-legged on the chair, swaying back and forth rather unceremoniously.
Between serving the hot dishes, Li Yunqian glanced back at her and saw her looking completely fearless and relaxed, a stark contrast to her former self. A silent love welled up in his heart.
He should have humbled himself before her.
That way, we can see more of her real and adorable side.
Instead of the refined and proper demeanor she used to show when dealing with her boss.
He wanted the real her.
Li Yunqian stood in the shadows, and suddenly thought—
What would she do if she found out that she wasn't actually bankrupt, but just pretending?
Everything was proceeding smoothly according to his plan, but he suddenly felt a sense of panic, as if the game was about to turn out differently...
Li Yunqian brought the dishes to the table and helped her set out the bowls and chopsticks.
Shen Zhiyi picked up her chopsticks, swallowed hard in front of the fragrant food, glared at him, and warned, "Li Yunqian, I haven't compromised."
"Hmm." Li Yunqian chuckled. "You're a connoisseur of life, never compromising."
"It was I who compromised."
He ruffled her hair. "I'm begging you to eat, little darling."
Shen Zhiyi blushed slightly, grunted, and began to eat haphazardly, picking up food here and there.
Whether it was because she was hungry or because she liked every dish, she ate quite a lot.
"Slow down." Li Yunqian poured her a glass of water, and when he placed it in front of her, his fingers paused, and he suddenly asked, "Little darling, under what circumstances would you not want me?"
