Shen Zhiyi experienced the terrifying pressure of the Nascent Soul stage for the first time.
She didn't know he could be so fierce.
She never imagined that one day his gentleness could become so unbearable for her.
She cried and kicked him.
But it was like an ant trying to shake a tree; it couldn't move him an inch.
On the contrary, I am adrift and swaying, like a soft cloud, scattering and gathering again.
Then, it started to rain, a pitter-patter.
"Cang Liuyu, please..." she sobbed, pushing against his chest, her toes curling tightly, "I really can't eat anymore..."
She's so full... so full...
Every pore on my body was aching and resisting.
Cang Liuyu completely ignored her.
Keep feeding.
It even condensed a fierce, water-severing sword intent, mercilessly striking those areas she couldn't withstand.
They only stopped when they managed to force out some delicate sobs and soft pleas from her mouth.
"This is punishment for letting others get close to you and have illusions about you."
He pursed his thin lips, suppressing the sour, surging jealousy welling up in his chest, and kissed her again.
"From now on, you must not give hope to anyone but me."
Did you hear that?
He tilted his head and grabbed her chin.
Shen Zhiyi lifted her eyelashes, her peach blossom eyes moist, and stared at him blankly.
The taste of him lingers on my lips and in my breath.
Pine trees are covered in snow.
Cold and pure, yet covered with the dirt and dust from the deepest part of the earth.
Like a collapsing altar, it brought down the snowmelt from the summit of the iceberg, which melted into the damp wood, into her flesh and blood.
She had never seen that expression on his face before.
It carries a bewildering, stubborn sensuality.
So she nodded.
I readily agreed.
"Good girl." Cang Liuyu's expression softened, and he gently stroked her eyebrows and eyes with great affection, planting a kiss on her forehead.
Then, she chuckled softly at Shen Zhiyi's adorable reaction.
"You can't even handle a kiss on the forehead?"
Shen Zhiyi couldn't say a word.
It's just shaking.
He sighed and stroked her slightly protruding belly. "It's so small, how can it hold so many things?"
He kissed the corner of her lips again. "Tell me what you ate today."
When Shen Zhiyi saw the malicious smile in his eyes, she almost burst into tears again.
"N-I don't remember..."
"Don't you remember?" Cang Liuyu's eyes suddenly hardened as he looked down at her face. "Would you like me to help Qingqing remember?"
He suddenly became very fierce.
He suddenly stopped, grabbed her waist with his large hand, and made her unable to move.
Consciousness hovered.
Even the cracks in my bones felt like they were being tingled with an intense, persistent itch.
Unable to bear it any longer, Shen Zhiyi grabbed his shirt and buried her head in his neck, recalling, "At the restaurant, we ate 'Silk-wrapped White Jade Cake,' stir-fried vegetables, stir-fried basil... jadeite... hibiscus soup..."
She recited the names of the dishes haltingly.
"At the city lord's mansion, I ate flower dumplings... chestnut cake..."
Cang Liuyu slowly and deliberately twirled her hair. "And now? What did you eat?"
Shen Zhiyi was so frightened that she burst into tears.
"Speak," he said fiercely.
The pressure applied to her lower abdomen was also a bit stronger.
Shen Zhiyi's eyes went unfocused for a moment.
After regaining his senses, he gave a trembling answer that satisfied him.
Her whole body was flushed with a light pink blush.
Cangliu Yu's mood improved again.
The sharp features lost their coldness and sternness, softened by the moonlight.
He put his arm around her waist and whispered in her ear as a reward, "My dear Qingqing, you're such a good girl."
"I'll take you to see the meteor shower."
He waved his hand.
The two then arrived at an illusionary realm.
The sky is filled with stars, enveloping the entire world.
Beneath my feet lies a body of water.
He held her in his arms like he was holding a child, and kissed her tenderly.
The world is vast, and everything is extremely far apart.
Only they remained closely intertwined.
Cang Liuyu held her in one arm and pinched the back of her neck with the other, making her tilt her head back to look at the shooting stars.
The stars, trailing pale purple tails, were like a box of shattered diamonds that had been overturned, streaking across the sky one after another and falling into the horizon where the water meets the sky.
There was no moon in the sky.
But the stars, so magnificent, rushed towards a never-ending fall for her.
"Is it pretty?" Cangliu Yu pecked a kiss at her lips.
Shen Zhiyi turned her head and met his kiss.
"Um……"
He looked up, his dark eyes blazing. "Am I more handsome, or is the meteor shower more handsome?"
A blush spread across Shen Zhiyi's cheeks. "You...you're beautiful..."
She obediently wrapped her arms around his neck, saying, "You're the most handsome."
Cangliu heard the sound of blood rushing through his veins, the pounding of his heart, and her soft sobs and disordered breathing.
From this moment forward, he will give her whatever she wants.
"Why don't you absorb my cultivation?" He stroked her spine.
Shen Zhiyi softly nestled in his arms.
"Didn't you... still want to catch demons...?"
Cang Liuyu chuckled softly.
"Oh," he said, a slight smile playing on his lips, "are you worried I'll be harmed by demons, or...?"
"Does Qingqing want another time?"
Shen Zhiyi buried her face in his shoulder, trying not to let him see her reddened earlobes.
"Who thought of that... I didn't think of that..."
Cang Liuyu hugged her tighter and closer, raising his eyebrows. "Haven't you thought about it?"
"But I think..."
His brows furrowed, and his aura suddenly became strong and unyielding.
Without giving her any preparation, he simply showered her with a magnificent spectacle, more moving than a meteor shower.
