Jiang Zhiliu's voice trembled slightly.
She instinctively took two steps back, her heel hitting the wooden table in the room with a dull thud.
Wu Zhuang turned around, his smile still honest and simple, but his eyes held a hint of strangeness.
He walked towards her step by step, his voice low and hoarse: "What are you afraid of? It's windy in the mountains at night. If the door isn't locked properly, it will be blown open in the middle of the night."
“But, but it’s still daytime…” Jiang Zhiliu gripped the backpack strap tightly, cold sweat seeping from his palms.
She glanced at the window out of the corner of her eye and noticed that the heavy curtains had been drawn at some point.
The dim lighting inside made Wu Zhuang's face appear particularly sinister.
"Liu Mei, are you cold?" Wu Zhuang suddenly reached out and his rough fingers brushed against her cheek.
Jiang Zhiliu suddenly dodged, her back hitting the cold wall.
She suppressed her fear and forced a smile: "I'm not cold... Brother Zhuang, didn't you say you were going to take me to the county town? Shall we set off now?"
Wu Zhuang stared at her, his Adam's apple bobbing: "What's the rush? It's getting dark, and it's dangerous to walk on mountain roads at night."
As he spoke, he took a bottle of wine from the cabinet, saying, "Have some to warm yourself up."
The wine jug landed on the table with a thud, the murky liquid sloshing around.
"I don't drink!" she suddenly raised her voice, shoved Wu Zhuang aside, and rushed toward the door.
"Bang!" Wu Zhuang grabbed her wrist with such force that he almost crushed her bones.
He grinned, revealing his yellowed teeth: "City girls are so precious, they won't even give you the honor of drinking wine?"
"Let me go!" Jiang Zhiliu struggled desperately, her fingernails digging into the back of his hand.
Wu Zhuang let go in pain, and she took the opportunity to lunge at the door lock, only to find that the lock cylinder was already rusted shut and could not be turned open no matter what she did.
Heavy footsteps sounded behind me.
Wu Zhuang, panting heavily, grabbed her hair and slammed her to the ground: "You won't listen to reason, so you'll have to suffer the consequences!"
He leaned down on her, his breath reeking of alcohol mixed with the stench of sweat. "Where do you think you are? Once you're in my house, you have to listen to me!"
Jiang Zhiliu screamed, grabbed the iron kettle next to the bed, and smashed it on his head.
With a loud bang.
Blood trickled from Wu Zhuang's forehead, but his movements became even more ruthless.
He ripped open her collar and sneered, "Once the deed is done, let's see what you're up to now!"
"Thump!"
With a muffled thud, Wu Zhuang's words came to an abrupt end.
A stream of blood flowed down from the top of his head.
"You bastard!"
"How dare you hit me!"
"I think you're tired of living!"
As he spoke, Wu Zhuang grabbed Jiang Zhiliu by the collar and forcefully threw her to the ground.
"Ah!" Jiang Zhiliu's lower back was hit by the corner of the table, and he immediately felt as if his bones were broken.
She was in so much pain that she couldn't straighten her back.
"Oh shit!"
"I'm going to teach you a lesson today!"
As Wu Zhuang spoke, he stepped forward, grabbed Jiang Zhiliu, pulled her up, and dragged her to the bedside.
"Do not touch me!"
"What you're doing is illegal!"
"Help!"
"Help!"
Jiang Zhiliu shouted loudly.
I saw people at my neighbor's house on my way here.
She thought that if she shouted for help, someone would come to her aid.
But no matter how much she called, there was no response from outside the door.
Moreover, Wu Zhuang seemed completely unafraid of her cries for help.
Without any intention of stopping her, he simply tore off her clothes.
Jiang Zhiliu's thighs weren't even as thick as Wu Zhuang's arms.
Having just been hit in the lower back, he now has absolutely no strength to resist.
The more he struggled, the more excited Wu Zhuang seemed to become.
"Go ahead and yell, no one will pay any attention to you even if you scream your lungs out."
Wu Zhuang revealed a wild smile.
Ignoring his head injury, he forcibly took Jiang Zhiliu.
At first, Jiang Zhiliu would shout for help.
Eventually, she gave up.
With a heart as cold as ashes, she let Wu Zhuang ravage her body.
A dozen minutes later, Wu Zhuang got off her and sat on the edge of the bed smoking.
He looked at Jiang Zhiliu with a grin.
"You bitch, weren't you yelling so loudly just now? Why are you quiet now?"
Two lines of tears hung from the corners of Jiang Zhiliu's eyes.
She took a deep breath and looked at Wu Zhuang.
"You'll take me to the county town, right?"
"Ha ha!"
Wu Zhuang couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"You're too naive, aren't you?"
"You believe what a stranger says?"
"You want to leave here? It's simple, just give me a child, and you can leave."
Jiang Zhiliu's emotions collapsed instantly.
"Wu Zhuang, you bastard, this is human trafficking!"
"You'll go to jail!"
Wu Zhuang laughed even more wildly.
His gaze flickered toward Jiang Zhiliu.
"If you want to call the police to arrest me, you'll have to leave here first."
Jiang Zhiliu angrily sat up in bed and quickly put on her clothes.
He then quickly walked to the door, intending to open it and leave.
But she couldn't press the button to lock the door.
It seems to be a specific organization.
"Wu Zhuang, you'd better open the door if you dare!"
Jiang Zhiliu glared angrily at Wu Zhuang.
Wu Zhuang, however, acted as if nothing had happened and lay down on his own.
Seeing that Wu Zhuang did not react, Jiang Zhiliu walked towards the window.
The window can be opened.
After opening the window, a gust of cold wind swept in.
Seeing that Wu Zhuang did not intend to stop them.
She quickly climbed out the window and jumped out.
She had only taken a few steps when a piercing sound suddenly came from Wu Zhuang's house.
Immediately afterwards, the neighbors came out of their houses one by one.
