A night of heavy rain.
Shi Wu stood by the bed, her silk nightgown flowing down her slender body like water.
She had a box cutter in her hand, the tip of the knife pressed against a man's throat.
"Miss Shi, calm down!"
"I'll be there soon!"
Jin Chenzhou whispered into the microphone. At this time, he was sitting in the car, five kilometers away from the villa where Shi Wu lived.
But in the surveillance video, Shi Wu did not react. At this moment, she had a smile on her lips and her eyes were shining with excitement.
"This is... a sleepwalking attack!"
"Who is that man?"
Jin Chenzhou frowned, watched the surveillance screen with his peripheral vision, and stepped on the accelerator to the bottom.

Jin Chenzhou ignored her flirting. He noticed out of the corner of his eye that the man lying at Shi Wu's feet was starting to turn blue.
Time is running out.
"Miss Shi, can you give me the knife?" He stretched out his hand, his voice low and steady.
Shi Wu's smile widened, revealing his white and neat teeth.
"You want this?" She shook the utility knife in her hand, and drops of blood splashed along the tip of the knife onto the white wall.
"Come and get it."
Seeing that she had completely lost her mind, Jin Chenzhou knew that he could not wait any longer.
He stepped forward quickly, clamped Shi Wu's knife-holding wrist with his left hand, and grabbed the back of her neck with his right hand. This was a standard grappling posture.
At this moment, Shi Wu's body seemed to be acupunctured, and he lost his strength and fell limply into his arms.
Her lips brushed the man's earlobe, and her voice was filled with dangerous joy as she said, "You touched me. My father said...whoever touches me will have their hand chopped off!"
Jin Chenzhou tightened his fingers, forcing her to let go of the utility knife.

The steel knife fell to the carpet with a dull thud.

Then he checked the man's injuries. The wound was not deep and he should be able to survive if the bleeding was stopped.
He dragged the man out of the room, got the medicine box from the car, and gave the wound on the man's neck a simple bandage.
After finishing the work, he returned to the room and found Shi Wu still sitting on the edge of the bed in the same position as before.
She stared at the pool of blood on the ground, her whole brain in a daze.
Jin Chenzhou fetched a basin of water, knelt on the ground and wiped the bloodstains on the ground with a towel.
"My dad asked you here?" Shi Wu asked, with a slight tremor in her voice. She grabbed the edge of the bed with both hands, trying hard to control her emotions.
"Yeah." Jin Chenzhou raised his head and looked at her with deep eyes.
"My name is Jin Chenzhou. Your father hired me to be your personal bodyguard."
"Start today and keep yourself safe."
"Hahaha..." Shi Wu suddenly burst into laughter, tears in his eyes, and his laughter shattered like glass scattering all over the ground.
"Protection? I don't need anyone's protection..."
"You can't protect me!"
"I am a madman, you just saw it!"
"I will kill someone..."
"I have sleepwalking. It's not illegal for me to kill people. I might kill you one day!"
As Shi Wu spoke, his smile disappeared and he stared into Jin Chenzhou's eyes, as if looking for fear in his eyes, but there was none.
Jin Chenzhou turned his knees in front of her, slowly pried open her hands that were tightly clasped around the edge of the bed, picked up the wet towel beside him and wiped the blood off her fingers.
The movements were gentle, and there was a hint of heartache.
"Go away!" Shi Wu pulled his hand back, turned his head and hid his cheek behind the moonlight, not wanting him to see the emotions on his face.
She took a deep breath and spoke again.
"The nine bodyguards in front are either injured or disabled."
"If you stay with me, nothing good will happen to you."
She lowered her head, spoke in a low voice, and felt like her whole body was about to break apart, with tears as big as beans shaking in her eyes.
"It's time to go to bed, Miss." Jin Chenzhou said in a low voice, then picked up the basin of blood and left the room.
When Shi Wu raised his head, the door was already closed.
She raised her hand to wipe away the tears from the corners of her eyes, sniffed, and lay tiredly on the bed. Her body involuntarily curled up into a fetal position. Her head was dizzy from the mental collapse, and she fell into a deep sleep after a while.

After tying up the man, Jin Chenzhou called Shi Wu's father.
"Mr. Shi, there is an intruder..."
"Clean it up." The other party interrupted him before he could finish and reminded him, "Xiao Wu is going to attend a charity dinner tomorrow. Make sure she is in good condition. Got it?"

Jin Chenzhou's body froze there. As she moved closer, he felt a tingling sensation in his body, as if an electric current was spreading from his chest to his entire body.
He actually kind of likes this feeling...
