Chapter 105

"Great! I finally got the Water Prince's Holy Water Dew! Hahaha..." Mandora's laughter was as sharp and piercing as an owl's, echoing wildly in the eerie space. "Water Prince, oh Water Prince, I never thought you would help humans! You're such a foolish elf who betrayed your home!" Her voice trembled in the air.

It sounded like an accusation against the Water Prince, yet also like a sophistry for his own actions: "Don't you understand my good intentions? Everything I've done is to protect nature!" At this point,

A fleeting, almost imperceptible sadness crossed her eyes—a loneliness born of being misunderstood, a desolation stemming from believing she bore the fate of the entire Fairy Realm yet finding no one to acknowledge it. "Am I the only one truly thinking of the Fairy Realm? Why can't they understand me?"

Just then, Wang Mo, the Water Prince's most ardent supporter, her face flushed crimson with anger, like a ripe apple. Her bright eyes blazed with fury as she was the first to leap out, shouting like a brave little lion, "The Water Prince isn't a foolish elf who betrayed his home! He believes in humanity; he possesses wisdom and kindness beyond the ordinary. He knows that not all humans are destroyers; he can see humanity's love and protection of nature. He won't, and doesn't want to, help you destroy this world. Everything you've done is wrong! You're using the guise of protecting nature to wantonly harm the innocent for your own selfish desires!"

"Jianpeng, thank you for saving me. Please put me down." Qi Na's voice was soft but tinged with urgency; she didn't want to be a burden to everyone during their heated argument. Upon hearing this, Jianpeng immediately released her, his action carrying a hint of playfulness and unruliness.

Then, with a smug look on his face, he said, "Qina, you've lost your magic and are back to being an ordinary person. You should find a safe place to hide. Leave the rest to us, the incredibly brave Ye Luoli warriors!" His voice was full of smugness and contempt, a childish desire for revenge at play. Yes, he was seeking revenge for the last battle, a feeling that made him feel as if he were standing on the pinnacle of victory, utterly exhilarating.

Qi Na frowned slightly and didn't reply to Jian Peng. Instead, she easily found a safe corner and hid away. Her eyes revealed a hint of helplessness. The situation was too complicated, and she could only protect herself first.

Mandora also saw Zina's actions, but she had no time to concern herself with these minor characters. Her gaze was fixed on Wang Mo and the others, a ruthless glint in her eyes, like a venomous snake ready to strike. She spoke to Wang Mo and the others in an icy voice, "I once asked him for his power, but he resolutely refused. Hmph, does he think he can stop me?"

Now, his millennia-old power has fallen into my hands. This is fate's arrangement, a consequence of his folly. What pure energy! This power is like a peerless sword, destined to be used by me! Since he wants to protect humanity, then I will let his power destroy the entire world! Let him know the consequences of opposing me.” As she spoke, she looked at the beautiful, dreamlike blue energy ball in her hand, her eyes flashing with a greedy, almost insane light, a light that seemed to devour everything around her.

She decisively cast a spell: "Ye Luoli Magic!" Instantly, a mysterious light emanated from the energy ball in her hand, illuminating the surrounding dark space. However, she sensed that the power of the elixir seemed somewhat insufficient, which could not affect her plan. So, without hesitation, she cast "Double the Power of the Mirror." With her incantation, an even more powerful force was injected into the energy ball, strengthening its power.

As the incantation was finished, the energy sphere began to undergo an astonishing transformation. It rapidly expanded, forming a shield that emitted a mysterious light. This shield, like a nebula in the universe, expanded rapidly from the inside out, emitting increasingly powerful energy fluctuations with each expansion, until it stopped expanding after reaching a certain point.

“The energy isn’t being absorbed; it’s expanding instead.” Shu Yan frowned, deep wrinkles appearing on his forehead. Through his glasses, a symbol of wisdom, he carefully observed the changes in the energy sphere, a hint of worry in his eyes. After a moment, he explained to the others. “What is she going to do?” Wang Mo asked anxiously, her lips trembling slightly, her eyes filled with fear. The two women remained rooted to the spot, as if frozen in place, making no attempt to stop it. The others were also stunned by this sudden change, watching helplessly, at a loss. Qi Na, in the corner, also saw it. She shook her head helplessly, filled with a sense of powerlessness. She had no power to stop or change anything; it felt like a drowning person grasping at any straw.

Mandora sensed that the time was almost right. The corners of her already wicked lips curled up slightly, forming a smug, almost twisted smile. The smile was full of confidence in her plan and mockery of her enemy.

She chanted, "Ye Luoli Magic Water Energy Break!" As her words fell, the enormous energy shield shattered like a broken glass, rapidly disintegrating into countless water droplets that spread outwards. These droplets shimmered with iridescent light under the sunlight, like dreamlike raindrops, but this rain was filled with a dangerous aura; each drop was like a small bomb.

"Oh no, the water's energy has been decomposed," the team's AI, Shu Yan, said again, his voice tense, like a taut bowstring. The others still didn't try to stop it, simply watching silently as it unfolded, seemingly stunned by the sight before them. "The water's energy is spreading in all directions!" Lori shouted, her cute little face filled with terror. "And the rainwater has combined with the energy, becoming alive! If this continues, the whole city will be in danger!" Liang Cai said with deep concern.
