Chapter 113 Revisiting the Fairyland

Inside the doll shop, the atmosphere was as tense as the oppressive air before a storm, every breath seeming to hold unease. Chen Sisi was frantic, large beads of sweat rolling down her forehead. She rushed into the shop with Peacock, her hurried footsteps creating a gust of wind. Upon seeing Wang Mo and Jian Peng, her eyes widened instantly, and she shouted urgently, "Is there really a way to save Shu Yan?" Her voice trembled slightly, as if Shu Yan's fate hung on this question. Her chest heaved violently, revealing her inner panic.

Wang Mo turned slightly to look at Chen Sisi, who was running towards her. A sense of relief appeared in her eyes, like seeing a familiar lighthouse in a turbulent sea. "Sisi, you're finally here." Her voice was gentle and soothing, trying to calm Chen Sisi's extremely tense emotions. Jianpeng, on the other hand, was an impatient person, like a firecracker that could be set off at any moment. He frowned and picked up Wang Mo's words with a reproachful tone: "You disappeared as soon as school was over, and we were so worried! You have no idea how worried we were. What if we missed the chance to save Shuyan?" As he spoke, he waved his arms, his anxious appearance showing no sign of urgency.

"Fairy Xinling discovered that the Queen has been in seclusion these past few days, which is a good opportunity for us to go to the Fairy Realm to rescue Shuyan." Loli's clear voice, like a mountain spring, rang out amidst the tense atmosphere, bringing a glimmer of hope to everyone. Standing there, her small figure possessed a calm and composed demeanor, explaining methodically, her eyes sparkling with wisdom.

At first, a flame of hope ignited in Chen Sisi's eyes, a light like a torch suddenly lit in the darkness. But in an instant, her brows furrowed, and worry surged into her heart like a tide. She bit her lip, her voice choked with emotion, and said, "But even if we rescue Shuyan, what about the time penalty? Once the stone statue spell is lifted, Shuyan's life will only last a few days. What's the point of us doing this? I'm so scared, scared that even if we try our best, we'll still lose him." As she spoke, her eyes reddened, and tears welled up in them.

After hearing this, everyone seemed drained of energy, falling into deep thought. The shop was silent, save for their heavy breathing. Just then, Xin Ling, who had been sitting in her chair, stood up. Her movements were elegant and dignified as she slowly walked to the group. Her expression was solemn, her eyes revealing the profound wisdom of a sage. "Children," she said, "only two fairies in the Fairy Realm can actually lift Shu Yan's time punishment." Jian Peng, the impetuous one, reacted like a cat on hot bricks, his face flushed red with anxiety. He shouted, "Shopkeeper, tell us quickly who it is!" His eyes widened, and he leaned forward, practically ready to grab Xin Ling. Liang Cai, with her straightforward and fiery nature, frowned and, without a word, delivered a flying kick to Jian Peng, sending him staggering. Liangcai scolded, "Don't interrupt Fairy Xinling. Fairy Xinling, please continue. Don't mind this impetuous fellow; he's always so careless." Liangcai stood there with her hands on her hips, fuming.

Fairy Xinling smiled slightly, a smile full of tolerance and love, seemingly unconcerned about the little incident, and continued, "One of the fairies in the fairy realm who can lift the time penalty is Shi Xi, the goddess of time and master of the four clocks. She is mysterious and unpredictable, like the most distant star in the night sky; we can't find her anywhere. Another is the Ice Princess, the master of ice and snow power. Her ice and snow magic can suppress the time penalty. She is like the coldest and most beautiful flower on the ice plains, proud and powerful."

After speaking, Fairy Xinling paused, a hint of hesitation flashing in her eyes, before reiterating her plan: "Children, I believe that after you rescue Shuyan, you can seek the Water Prince's help at Still Water Lake. The Water Prince is like a mysterious guardian in that deep lake; he might help you. Have him take you to Ice Crystal River. The Ice Princess might help Shuyan suppress the time punishment out of respect for the Water Prince. However, your trip to the Fairy Realm this time might be very dangerous. You will need to confront Mandora head-on. She is like a terrible nightmare, full of evil and power." Fairy Xinling's face was full of worry, her eyes brimming with concern for the children. Her hands unconsciously clenched, as if she wanted to protect them behind her.

Upon hearing that she was to seek out the Ice Princess, Blue Peacock felt a surge of fear. Her eyes darted around like a frightened deer, she bit her lip, and her body trembled slightly. Anxious and uneasy, she was filled with terrifying images that flashed through her mind, fearing her secret would be exposed and her master would abandon her. Her gaze darted among the crowd, yet she dared not voice her anxieties, standing there silently like a forgotten, lonely figure. Everyone, however, was absorbed in the joy of being able to lift the time penalty, and no one noticed her unusual behavior.

Upon hearing this, Jianpeng immediately patted his chest and assured him, his confident demeanor resembling that of a brave and fearless little soldier. "Shopkeeper, we... we're not afraid! For Shuyan, we're not afraid of anything! We will definitely defeat the enemy and rescue Shuyan." His face beamed with a confident smile, and his eyes burned with unwavering determination.

Fairy Xinling remained worried and said again, "Shuyan is in the Queen's Mirror Space. Without the Queen opening the passage, entering the Mirror Space is impossible. That Mirror Space is like a mysterious world shrouded in heavy fog; it will be very difficult for us to break through its defenses." After hearing this, everyone looked at each other, at a loss, like a flock of lambs lost in a dark forest, their eyes filled with confusion and helplessness.

"This is precisely the most dangerous aspect of this operation. However, since you all absorbed some of the Water Prince's elixir last time, your abilities have significantly improved, like sleeping lion cubs gradually awakening their power. And the Queen lost a great deal of her fairy power to open the gate, so you may have a chance to win, but you must be careful," Fairy Xinling encouraged, her eyes full of expectation. She was like a guiding mentor, lighting a beacon of hope for the children in the darkness.
