Feng Yinsha and Hei Xiangling passed through the mirror passage, surrounded by shimmering light and shadow, as if they had traversed a time tunnel. In the blink of an eye, they arrived at a strange place, surrounded by cliffs made of oddly shaped rocks. These rocks ranged in size from houses to millstones, some sharp like wolf fangs, others round like giant eggs. Each one seemed to be the most unrestrained creation of nature, the great artist, radiating a mysterious aura under the sunlight.
Qi Na stood quietly on the edge of the cliff, a gentle breeze causing her red hair to flutter like flames. Her gaze drifted into the distance, where the scenery was dreamlike, like a painting rendered in the most vibrant colors. Rolling mountains appeared and disappeared in the mist, like dragons frolicking in a sea of clouds. The trees on the mountains were lush and verdant, as if draped in a magnificent green robe. Waterfalls cascaded down the mountainsides, their spray creating dazzling rainbows in the sunlight. However, this beautiful scene was tinged with sadness in Qi Na's eyes. The image of Fei Ling kept appearing in her mind, and she murmured to herself, "If only Fei Ling were here, we could experience this fairyland together."
Hei Xiangling had been watching Qi Na closely. She gently walked to Qi Na's side, tugged at her sleeve, and said softly, "Qi Na, do you know? The Ye Luoli Fairy Realm is the most magical place in the world. It's a gathering place for all kinds of spirits, like a giant treasure trove. It's full of possibilities, whether you can imagine it or you can't even dream of it, all of them take root and sprout here. It possesses endless mysterious power, as numerous as the stars in the universe. So, you must believe that Fei Ling will definitely be reborn one day, just like the sun rises every day." Tears welled up in Qi Na's eyes as she looked at Hei Xiangling gratefully, "Thank you, Xiangling. I really hope that day comes soon." Just as she was about to ask about Huang Shi, suddenly, a roar exploded in everyone's ears like a thunderclap: "Who is making such a racket here, disturbing my peace? Don't you know this is the territory of Huang Shi, the Stone King?"
Qi Na, Feng Yinsha, and Hei Xiangling were startled and looked in the direction of the sound. Not far away, they saw a truly magnificent figure. Huang Shi's enormous body resembled a towering mountain peak, piercing the clouds as if it could tear a hole in the sky. He exuded a powerful and majestic aura, like a god born from the ancient universe, carrying the majesty of creation.
With each step he took, the earth seemed to tremble, as if unable to bear his immense power. His heavy footsteps sounded like an ancient behemoth surveying its territory. His body was composed of countless stones of various shapes, which, under the light, refracted a mysterious luster, like a flowing river of gems, or like mysterious interstellar light, dazzling and radiant. Everyone was stunned by the astonishing aura and enormous size of the desolate stone, and for a moment, the air seemed to freeze.
Hei Xiangling was the first to recover. A bright smile spread across her face as she cheerfully called out to Huang Shi, "It's Brother Huang Shi! Long time no see! You still look as imposing as ever!" Huang Shi's rock-like head turned slightly to look at Hei Xiangling, and he said in a gruff voice, "Hmph, Hei Xiangling, it's you. Why are you back? And with these scoundrels. This human is so weak, he doesn't even have a trace of immortal power, and this kid, he's obviously Mandora's lackey." His tone was full of dissatisfaction and disdain.
Upon hearing Huang Shi's words, Feng Yinsha's face darkened instantly. His brows furrowed, a flash of anger crossing his eyes. He swiftly summoned his silver-threaded blade, tightly shielding Qi Na behind him, and retorted loudly, "Who are you calling a lackey? Aren't you helping Mandora too? Don't think you're so noble!" Huang Shi responded with a deep, resonant laugh that shook the surrounding rocks, as if protesting the loud noise. He said disdainfully, "Hmph, ignorant brat, what do you know? I, Huang Shi, am not like you. I lent Mandora my power. She begged me for help, saying that if I lent her my power, she could rule the human world, and then the Fairy Realm could return to peace. I just want the Fairy Realm to be free from the suffering of war. This is different from someone like you who is being used without even realizing it." As Huang Shi spoke, he stared at Feng Yinsha with his enormous eyes, his gaze filled with majesty.
Hei Xiangling looked at Huangshi with surprise in her eyes. She tilted her head back and tried to see Huangshi's face, saying, "Huangshi, your power is so strong now! You seem to have more imposing presence than before. Have you returned to your form with the power of a thousand years?" Huangshi nodded slightly and said proudly, "That's right. After the last great battle, I stopped believing Mandora's nonsense. I took back my ancient power from her."
I was originally made of stone, but after my immortal power increased, I reintegrated myself, absorbing even more of the essence of stone. How about it, Xiangling? Don't I look even more majestic and imposing now? I never expected to run into you guys here. However, I'm truly disappointed that you're mixing with humans and even helping them.
What's so good about humans? They wantonly destroy our stone home, carving words and drawings on us, cutting us into all sorts of strange shapes to pave roads, build houses, and even treat us like playthings. Those beautiful stone mountains...
Originally, we could have stood for ten thousand years, but we were torn to pieces by humans. We stones have witnessed hundreds of millions of years of historical changes, but what about humans? Their lifespans are pitifully short, yet they dare to try to decide our fate. This is absurd! The more Huangshi spoke, the more agitated he became. His voice echoed in the valley, filled with endless anger and dissatisfaction.
