He and the Fairy of Light cast spells together. The Fairy of Light was like a torch in the darkness, her dazzling light illuminating the surrounding darkness, like the sun breaking through the clouds. When the light shone on the little monsters, some of them scattered in fright, just like mice fleeing in panic when they saw a cat.
But as soon as they reached the chosen spot, Gao Taiming collapsed, unable to support himself.
