Chapter 133 Gao Taiming Unveils the Wings of Darkness

Gao Taiming stood tall and straight, like an unshakeable mountain. His handsome face was now covered in frost, exuding a chilling aura. His eyes, like two sharp, cold beams, pierced mercilessly towards Chen Sisi, who was kneeling on the ground, trembling.

Meanwhile, standing to the side, the Light Fairy Bai Guangying's beautiful eyes shone with undisguised joy and anticipation. Her voice trembled slightly with excitement as she shouted, "Ming, you already possess enough power! Look! Those two wings are about to unfold successfully!" Her impassioned words seemed to transform into a magical incantation, possessing a certain power to open mysterious doors.

In that split second, a deafening roar, as powerful as a thunderbolt, rang out. Gao Taiming's tightly folded wings suddenly unfurled as if breaking free of heavy shackles.

The enormous wings suddenly whipped up a gale in the darkness, resembling the majestic wings of a raging storm, a sight to behold. Dense, dark purple feathers covered them, each shimmering with a cold luster, like the brightest stars in the night sky, yet also exuding an air of mystery and terrifying danger.

He seized Chen Sisi as if lifting a weak and helpless fledgling, flapped his wings and flew out of the ward, rushing towards the towering, bright clock tower that exuded the vicissitudes of time.

Bai Guangying was frantic and hurriedly chased after him, trying to dissuade Gao Taiming from putting Chen Sisi down. She ran and shouted, "Gao Taiming, calm down! Don't be so impulsive!" But Gao Taiming seemed to be blinded by anger, not turning his head, and coldly said, "Don't worry about me. I'll make my own decisions! I don't want to be a puppet of your will." His unquestionable tone left Bai Guangying speechless for a moment, filled with helplessness and anxiety. She could only turn around and run frantically to find Lan Kongque, thinking that if the two of them worked together, they might be able to come up with a way to save them.

"Mandora, the gates to humanity are already closed, why do you still cling on like a ghost!" The blue peacock's eyebrows furrowed, her almond eyes widened, her chest heaving with rage, her hands clenched into fists as she glared at the illusory yet hateful projection of Mandora before her. Her teeth were clenched, as if she wanted to tear the person before her to pieces. If it weren't for this despicable queen, how could everything have fallen to such a state? Not only had her immortal power been drained, but her master was now in grave danger.

Mandora threw her head back and let out a wild and unrestrained laugh. The laughter echoed in the empty space, exuding a chilling and triumphant air: "Hahaha, Xinling sent me back to the fairyland, but she doesn't know that she has stirred up even bigger trouble!"

Now, the gates between the fairyland and humanity are wide open, and the Lingxi Gate left by the Lingxi Pavilion allows anyone with the key to freely travel between them.

Although my power hasn't fully recovered yet, a fairy has already entered the human world—the Ice Princess, whose seven-day blizzard has descended upon it.

"You lot, you'd better prepare for the Ice Age! Oh, and by the way, Blue Peacock, you'd better watch out. She's not one to let things slide easily. Those things you did before—who knows how she'll settle the score!"

Blue Peacock's heart sank. Memories she had deliberately buried surged back like a tidal wave. Her past actions felt like a Damocles' sword hanging over her head, ready to fall at any moment. Yet, she maintained a facade of composure, stubbornly retorting, "Hey, Queen, don't be so smug! Don't underestimate us Ye Luoli warriors! No matter who comes, we will fight with all our might to stop the Ice Princess's plot!"

Upon hearing the words "Lingxi Pavilion," Bai Guangying trembled violently, her face turning deathly pale. Her eyes were filled with terror and bewilderment, and her body trembled involuntarily. She knew that if Pang Zun were to find the human world through the Lingxi Gate, she would surely be captured and taken back to that cage-like immortal realm. Recalling the painful days of being controlled and bound in the past, she felt as if she were in an ice cellar, chilled to the bone.

"Alright, stop with the empty talk and hurry up and save your master. Look at him, with his dark wings open, and her, weakened by her divine power, powerless to protect herself, and without her wings. Who can predict what will happen next? Goodbye!" Mandora said, and the projection vanished like a ghost in an instant, leaving no trace.

Blue Peacock breathed a sigh of relief when Mandora disappeared, but the thought of Chen Sisi still being in danger filled her with worry. Her fairy power had been absorbed by the Queen and the Light Fairy, leaving her very weak and needing time to recover. Just as she was feeling overwhelmed and helpless, she caught a glimpse of Chen Sisi's dropped phone out of the corner of her eye. On a sudden inspiration, she quickly picked it up, her fingers trembling as she swiftly dialed Shu Yan's number.

Atop the clock tower, a biting wind howled, its mournful cries like the wails of ghosts and wolves. Chen Sisi gripped the clock hands tightly, her fingertips turning white from the force, her body dangling precariously in mid-air. She looked up at Gao Taiming, who stood steadily to her side, his expression indifferent.

Tears welled in her eyes, yet her voice was filled with unwavering determination as she pleaded, "Gao Taiming, I know you're not a bad person at heart. You're just blinded by momentary emotions. I still believe in you."

You're a kind person at heart, stop being so stubborn and wake up! She shouted until her voice was almost hoarse, but Gao Taiming remained unmoved, like a wooden sculpture, letting the cold wind tear Chen Sisi's words apart and carry them away.

Gao Taiming frowned, his face full of impatience, and yelled at Chen Sisi, "Why are you all so long-winded? It's so annoying! Can't I just be a bad guy in peace and quiet, Chen Sisi?"
