Deep within the fiery desert, a paradise ablaze with heat, Qi Na and Fei Ling appeared exceptionally small and frantic. "Fei Ling, the Fire Lord has spotted us! We must leave immediately!"
Zina's voice trembled slightly with nervousness. Her hands moved swiftly and precisely to produce the transparent card "Flight." As the seal was broken, a large, white, transparent, and spiritual butterfly appeared behind Zina.
She clung tightly to Fei Ling, shooting off like an arrow towards the path they had come from. Behind them stretched an endless, raging sea of fire, flames licking the air as if to devour everything.
Huo Liaoye, who was in the mysterious cave, trembled slightly as his chained body was bound. A red light flashed in his ruby-like eyes. Through the layers of flames, he seemed to be witnessing the two guys who were trying to escape.
"Very well, these two have grown quite bold. Let's see how I capture them and torture them in the flames!" With that, he exerted force with both hands. Although the chains were tightly bound to his skin, they could not stop him from mobilizing the violent power within his body.
"Ye Luoli Magic, Primal Heavenly Fire, Humanity's Sinful Fire, Fire Blessing, Fire Mark, Flaming Thorns!"
The incantation exploded like thunder, and the surrounding flames seemed to be given life and will, surging and rushing, instantly converging into countless thick, thorny fire thorns like giant dragons, tearing through the sky and roaring towards Qi Na and Fei Ling's backs.
Zina and Feiling darted left and right through the air, facing numerous dangers. Large beads of sweat rolled down Zina's forehead, her breathing rapid and heavy. While desperately dodging the attacks of the fiery thorns, she frantically cried out in her heart, "System, help! I urgently need an item to return to the human world. This place is extremely dangerous, and I can no longer hold on!"
In that mysterious and unpredictable system space, a yellow mouse, lazily enjoying snacks and watching TV, was startled by the sudden cry for help and almost choked. Its previously contented expression froze instantly, and then it sighed helplessly, having no choice but to activate the detection program.
When it saw that its host had provoked such a powerful and volatile being as the Fire Lord, it was somewhat expected, but it still couldn't help but gasp inwardly. "This unlucky kid really knows how to get into trouble," it muttered to itself as it rummaged through its private treasury, filled with all sorts of rare treasures, searching for suitable items.
"Ding, host, this system has an item here that can help you get out of your predicament, but..." The system deliberately dragged out its tone, playing coy and keeping the other person in suspense.
At this moment, Qi Na had no time to pay attention to the system's little tricks. She and Fei Ling struggled to move through the gaps in the flames, and each dodge consumed a lot of her energy.
She could clearly feel her strength slipping away like sand in an hourglass, and her legs began to weaken. "This fiery desert is vast and boundless. If this continues, I will die!"
Qi Na gritted her teeth and roared at the system, "Speak! What price do you want me to pay? Could it be that all of this was a premeditated scheme by you?"
The system's voice carried a hint of grievance: "Host, this is truly not my wish, please understand. All the rewards for this mission must be cleared before you can exchange them for a one-time teleportation portal item card."
"Hmph! What a wishful thinking. If I had known this would happen, I shouldn't have stepped into this mess in the first place. I shouldn't have accepted the mission even if it meant risking my life. Look at me now, the mission is getting more and more difficult, but the cards I have are all just ordinary items."
"This time I absolutely need the permanent teleportation card, otherwise, I'll hand over the Fire Spirit Orb to the Fire Lord. Do you think I don't know why he's been relentlessly pursuing me?" Qi Na's words were icy, her tone full of determination and threat.
The system panicked immediately: "No! The Fire Spirit Orb must not fall into the hands of the fairy maiden of the Immortal Realm, otherwise it will surely cause a great disaster. Fine, fine, I will grant the host's request."
The card has been placed in the system space. To open it, simply tell the door where it belongs, then pull the door open and enter. Remember to retrieve it after you arrive. The incantation is: "Seal released, portal restored to your original state." After saying this, the system hurriedly disappeared, seemingly going to find a place to heal its wounds, secretly annoyed that it had been tricked by its host again.
Upon hearing this, Qi Na quickly used her mind to access the system space and retrieve the card. At this moment, she had no time to care about the card's appearance; she raised her hand and threw it out, shouting, "Seal released! Portal, return to your original form!" In an instant, a dazzling white light shot into the sky. As the light dissipated, an exquisitely crafted white wooden door, radiating a soft glow, appeared out of thin air before her. The door was carved with intricate and mysterious patterns, seemingly telling an ancient story.
"Master, are these also your cards?" Fei Ling blinked her big eyes, full of curiosity and doubt.
"That's right, this is something that can send us back to the human world, and it was given to us by my future self." Zina said without changing her expression, once again reassuring Fei Ling with a lie. After all, she herself was clueless about the origin of these items and didn't know how to explain them.
Qi Na whispered her destination to the door, then poured all her remaining power into the "Rain Token," thinking to herself, "I will make this Fire Desert pay for today's misery. Even if I can't extinguish the fire with rain, I will still disturb it."
However, instead of the rain that Zina had hoped for, the human world was blanketed in snow. The snowflakes fell like goose feathers, transforming the entire world into a silvery white wonderland.
Zina and Feiling stepped into the portal, and all they could see were cars and roads buried under thick snow, with snowflakes still dancing endlessly in the sky.
Despite being mentally prepared, the sight of the icy, snowy landscape still made Qi Na's heart sink. She quickly put away the prop cards and hurriedly pulled Fei Ling towards home.
