She went even further, deleting precious memories of Peacock, Bright Color, and us chatting and laughing together, and mistaking Jasmine, who was projected into your emotions, for you. In a moment of confusion, I made a terrible mistake and hurt Jasmine.
In an attempt to make amends, I mistakenly trusted Mandora again, sealing away the Spirit Princess's heart. As a result, I was stripped of my power, turned into a tin toy, and suffered endless hardships in the mortal realm until now, when I finally regained my fairy identity.
"Loli, I deeply regret my past actions and have committed an unforgivable sin. Can you forgive me?" Prince Jin looked remorseful, his tall figure now hunched over, his back bent as if he were carrying a heavy burden. He was no longer the imposing and domineering man he once was; he looked haggard and forlorn.
After listening, Lori's mind was still a complete blank, as if she were trapped in a thick, impenetrable fog, unable to see her own hand in front of her face, and her thoughts were stuck.
But it felt as if a fine needle had pierced her heart, and a wave of soreness washed over her, quickly spreading to every part of her body. She couldn't tell whether the pain was for her own tarnished past or for the heart-wrenching, self-reproachful Prince Jin before her.
She was upset and clutched Wang Mo's clothes tightly with her small hands, muttering, "Master, let's go home! I want to be alone for a while."
Before Wang Mo could respond, Jasmine, who had been listening quietly, seemed afraid of getting into trouble and getting herself into trouble. She quickly flapped her wings and flew to Lori with a "whoosh". She waved her hand and said, "I don't remember any of these things either. I really don't want to get involved with you."
Jasmine lowered her eyes, looking somewhat uneasy. She nervously tapped the ground with her toes, and her wings were slightly folded, showing her restraint and eagerness to distance herself from this entanglement.
Lori opened her mouth, but her throat seemed blocked, and she couldn't utter a single word for a long time. Her mind and eyes were filled with only the thought of escaping from this place, and her legs were weak, almost unable to stand. Wang Mo understood, nodded slightly to the others, gently put his arm around Lori, and was about to leave.
Seeing this, Prince Jin was unwilling to give up and was about to chase after him. He was so fast that he created a gust of wind, but he was stopped by the quick-reacting Zina.
With her hands on her hips, eyebrows raised, and a serious expression, Qi Na loudly urged, "Prince Jin, calm down! Lori's head is a complete mess right now, she can't remember anything. How can she accept all this if you just blurt it out all at once?"
"Let's go back first and discuss this further. You don't want her to hate you, do you?" Qi Na's gaze was firm and resolute, revealing an unquestionable determination. Fei Ling nodded repeatedly beside her, echoing her sentiments, her hands clenched into fists, her face solemn, urging Prince Jin to act calmly.
Prince Jin froze, his feet seemingly nailed to the ground. He stood there dejectedly, lost in thought for a long time, then sighed heavily and reluctantly conceded, "Fine, I'll do as you say." With that, he turned and left with Qi Na and Fei Ling, their backs sparse and desolate, conveying an indescribable loneliness and sorrow, each step seeming to weigh a ton.
Those who remained exchanged bewildered glances, a moment of utter silence broken only by the rustling of clothes in the breeze. Blue Peacock broke the silence first, placing a hand on her chest, her face filled with regret, and sighed softly, "Master, I never imagined that Prince Jin and Lori had such a poignant past."
"Being schemed against so miserably by the Queen is truly a cruel twist of fate." Bright Color jumped to Peacock's side, shaking her head and chirping, "Exactly! Jasmine suffered too! Why does the Queen keep targeting Prince Jin? Does she see his immense power and want to possess him?"
Huang Shi sighed heavily, stepped forward, and explained in a booming voice, "Prince Jin's heart is extraordinary. It can forge power infinitely, making it an inexhaustible source of energy. The Queen is focused on expanding her power and dominating the Immortal Realm, so naturally she covets his power and will stop at nothing to get her hands on it."
Everyone suddenly realized what was going on. Jianpeng was so angry that his face turned red. He clenched his fist and swung it in the air, roaring: "This black-hearted queen is too much! Sooner or later, we will definitely defeat her and make her pay a heavy price!"
"Let's repay her for all the suffering and torment we've endured!" The others rubbed their hands together, their eyes burning with fighting spirit, their determination taking root in their hearts, vowing to fight the evil forces to the very end.
Chen Sisi and Shu Yan exchanged a glance and softly urged, "Everyone, don't be angry yet. Hurry home and check on your families." Only then did everyone bid each other a reluctant farewell and embark on their journey home. Their footsteps gradually faded into the distance, carrying with them longing for their families and reflections on the war.
Time slipped by unnoticed, and a day or two passed in the blink of an eye. Chen Sisi, Wang Mo, Jian Peng, and Shu Yan made plans to go to the doll shop together to find out what Fairy Xinling had left behind. They also specially invited Qi Na, Fei Ling, and Prince Jin to join them.
With a glimmer of hope, the group stepped into the doll shop, which was filled with a mysterious atmosphere. The shop was dimly lit, and dust swirled in the beams of light. Lacking maintenance from its owner, the shop appeared somewhat dilapidated.
Chen Sisi and Shu Yan held their breath and carefully lifted the hairpin and the doll body of Fairy Xinling. Their hands trembled slightly, and fine beads of sweat appeared on their foreheads. Tense and anticipation intertwined in their hearts.
The moment they touched it, a soft light suddenly burst forth, like the dawn breaking, and the task and "help" left by Fairy Xinling were quietly triggered.
Light, like flowing ribbons, surrounded everyone. The contract rapidly upgraded, and their transformation gowns were completely renewed, with exquisite patterns flowing and shining. Delicate little magic wands appeared out of thin air in the hands of the fairies, their top gems dazzling and radiant, exuding mysterious magic.
Everyone was both surprised and delighted, their eyes reddening. They bowed in unison to the faintly visible figure of "Xin Ling" in the light, and said in unison, "Fairy Xin Ling, rest assured, we will do our best to live up to your expectations and complete the mission well!"
