Fairy Flower Bud Castle
It was once a symbol of countless beautiful and dreamlike things, and one of the most beautiful castles in the fairyland. However, when Wang Mo, Chen Sisi, Jian Peng, Shu Yan and other Ye Luoli warriors stepped into this land full of expectations, the scene before them filled their hearts with deep disappointment.
The castle was in ruins, with broken walls and crumbling ruins everywhere. The walls that once shone with a holy light were now covered with huge green vines. These vines seemed to have a mind of their own, spreading and growing wildly and disorderly, entwining the entire castle tightly. From a distance, it looked like a forgotten ruin, lonely and desolate, with weeds and thorns covering the ground, making it very desolate.
Wang Mo's eyes were filled with confusion and shock. She couldn't help but raise her voice and ask, "What exactly happened here? How did it become like this? It's completely different from the castle I imagined! Lori, didn't you all swear that Flower Bud Castle was the most beautiful castle in the fairyland?"
What kind of terrible curse could have caused it to fall to this state? Besides, with the protective barrier set up by the little tree spirit, the other fairies' homes remain intact and beautiful as ever.
"Why is your house the only one so dilapidated and chaotic?" she asked, rubbing her eyes repeatedly as she tried to see reality.
His expression seemed to be a desperate resistance to the cruel reality before him, finding it hard to accept that the picturesque castle he had longed for had turned into this desolate wasteland.
Upon hearing Wang Mo's question, Chen Sisi, Jian Peng, and Shu Yan all turned their curious gazes to Luo Li, who had been walking silently with her head down and heavy steps.
The other fairies present, though they all knew the reason behind it, looked at each other, none of them finding it difficult to speak.
Lori felt the questioning and inquiring gazes of the crowd. She slightly raised her head, her eyes revealing a hint of helplessness and sorrow. She could only slowly recount that long-buried past in a low, slightly hoarse voice:
"The reason why Flower Bud Castle has become this ruin is all because of my departure. When that thrilling battle in the fairy realm began, I resolutely chose to stand on Fairy Xinling's side and chose to believe in humanity."
This decision, however, thoroughly enraged Queen Mandora. In her fury, she unleashed an extremely vicious spell, transforming all the lively and weak sprites in Flower Bud Castle into soulless phantom beasts, who could only wander like zombies in this cold fairyland from then on.
Not only that, the Queen also cast a death curse, a terrifying curse capable of devouring all life. In an instant, the once lush flowers, trees, and vibrant animals within the castle...
All things withered and died under the corrosive influence of this dark power, their life force mercilessly extinguished. Those lovely little elves, precisely because of my departure, lost their protection and were thus so wantonly oppressed and humiliated by the Queen.
Later, Little Leaf accidentally learned of all the tragedies that had happened here. With a compassionate heart, in order to prevent other fairies' homes from suffering the same fate as Flower Bud Castle, which was ruthlessly destroyed by Mandora, it quickly used magic to add a strong protective barrier to the homes of Peacock and the others.
Although Onoyo later did her best to add another layer of protection to the Flower Bud Castle, the damage was already irreversible. We fairies who chose to believe in humans paid an extremely heavy price for it.
Now, Fairy Xinling has vanished into this vast fairyland. Whenever I recall all of this, I can't help but wonder, were our initial insistence right or wrong?
As Lori spoke, she slowly walked toward the palace gate, each step appearing exceptionally heavy, as if she were dragging a thousand-pound burden under her feet.
As she stood at the palace gate, she seemed to hear again the painful cries of the elves, the sounds like sharp blades piercing her heart and causing her to waver and doubt her choice in ways she had never experienced before.
After listening quietly to Lori's sorrowful and regretful account, everyone felt a deep sense of sympathy for her, and they could all truly feel the immense pain and torment she was enduring.
Only Wang Mo, with her keen insight, caught a hint of regret and uncertainty in Loli's words. So, without hesitation, she stepped forward and began to comfort Loli in a firm and confident tone: "Loli, don't be so sad and confused."
We, the Ye Luoli warriors, possess unwavering faith and courage. We will certainly not let you fairies down for all the sacrifices you have made for humanity. And as you have seen, humanity has been striving to change; we are constantly growing and progressing, working hard to protect everything we cherish, aren't we?"
“Master, I believe in you.” Lori raised her head and looked into Wang Mo’s eyes. Although there was still a trace of sadness in her eyes, there was more trust and reliance on Wang Mo.
At this moment, everyone's attention was drawn to a giant pink rose with gemstones blooming in the huge glass wall in front of them. The rose was so beautiful that the gemstones embedded in its petals shimmered with a mesmerizing light under the dim light, as if it were the only bright spot in this desolate castle.
Jianpeng's eyes gleamed with curiosity. Unable to contain his doubts, he asked loudly, "Loli, where is your door? I don't see any door."
