Above the sea of flowers in the fairyland, "Spirit Princess" Mandora stood gracefully in mid-air, her right hand gripping the jade ruyi staff that emitted a faint glow, while her left hand steadily held the gem box. Before she even landed, she leaned down and issued a majestic call to the "bird" below—the Spirit Princess—who was imprisoned in a cage.
Princess Ling stood quietly in her cage, a faint sorrow veiling her beautiful face. Her lovely, bright eyes were fixed on the distance, as if lost in deep thought, perhaps pondering some profound and unsolvable question, or perhaps anxiously worrying about something important. Just then, a piercing sound reached her ears—it was Mandora's distinctive, sharp voice.
Princess Ling paused slightly, then slowly turned around, her gaze falling on the figure that was aggressively approaching her. Mandora was like a burning flame, radiating boundless rage and majesty, inspiring awe in all who beheld her.
Despite a hint of fear in her heart, Princess Ling's voice remained firm: "Mandora, my sea of flowers is always peaceful and serene. It does not welcome people as hostile as you. Please leave immediately, or don't blame me for disregarding our past relationship and being impolite to you!"
However, Mandora completely disregarded the Spirit Princess's seemingly weak warning. She abruptly stopped, emanating an aura so powerful it was suffocating, like a surging, unstoppable tidal wave.
It spread rapidly in all directions. Then, she gracefully raised her arm, holding the jade ruyi symbolizing supreme power tightly in her hand, and gently waved it. In an instant, a purple-black magical power shot out like lightning, rushing towards the golden, gleaming cage at an astonishing speed.
With a loud bang, the colorful curtain that was used to cover the cage was instantly blown to shreds as if it had been hit by a storm. The fragments flew around in the air, accompanied by the howling wind and making a rustling sound.
Princess Ling felt a surge of fear upon witnessing this scene. But she quickly took a deep breath, trying to calm her inner turmoil, and forcefully questioned loudly, "Mandora, what exactly do you want, being so arrogant and aggressive?"
Mandora's lips curled into a smug smile as she boasted, "I've brought something wonderful, the key to reviving my sister." With that, she held up the jeweled box high towards the Spirit Princess, showing it off intentionally.
Princess Ling's beautiful eyes were instantly captivated by the mysterious box, her gaze filled with curiosity and doubt, as if the box held countless untold secrets. She slightly furrowed her brows and parted her lips, saying softly, "A good thing? What could this be? Could it be a box filled with dazzling jewels?"
Just then, Mandora's lips curled into a subtle smile. She gently raised her hand and whispered an ancient and mysterious incantation: "Ye Luoli magic, manifest!" As Mandora's words fell, a soft "hum" was heard, and in an instant, a dazzling light burst forth from the box.
Then, a jaw-dropping scene unfolded—the primordial spirit of Fairy Xinling, along with the images of the four fairies and humans, slowly floated up from the top of the gem box like ghosts, projecting clearly visible figures in an illusory manner.
Princess Ling stared wide-eyed at the astonishing sight before her, her heart pounding with shock. Her beautiful face paled to death from sheer astonishment, and even her usually luscious lips trembled slightly.
After a long while, she finally came to her senses, but her voice was still trembling: "Wh...what? How could they all be locked up in here? You...you kept saying you wanted to awaken Fairy Xinling,
So that's what they were planning all along—to make me use the Flower Breath Rejuvenation Technique? But now, Lori and the others have all been reduced to fragile doll-like bodies, and those humans are even weaker. The power they possess was originally bestowed by the fairies; how could their meager fairy power be enough to awaken the powerful Fairy Xinling?
Mandora's stunningly beautiful face was now covered in frost, staring blankly ahead. Her eyes were cold and merciless, as if nothing in the world could evoke the slightest pity in her. The words that uttered from her luscious lips were like the chilling winds from the deepest hell, icy and bone-chilling, sending shivers down one's spine.
"Who told you to use only their immortal power? Hmph, if this power is far from enough, then there is no need to hesitate any longer. Just squeeze all the life energy out of their bodies!"
"So what if these insignificant fellows have to be sacrificed so that my sister can be resurrected? They should feel incredibly honored to have given everything for this!" Mandora's voice was devoid of any emotion, as if she were talking about something perfectly ordinary.
Upon hearing these words, Princess Ling, who was standing to the side, trembled violently. Her once clear and bright eyes widened instantly as she stared at Mandora in disbelief. She couldn't believe that Mandora could be so cruel and ruthless, actually intending to take away all the life energy of those people.
"All of their life energy? Then...then they'll all die without a burial place? This...this is terrifying!" Princess Ling's voice trembled, filled with deep fear and shock. She never imagined that Mandora would completely disregard the lives of others in order to achieve her own goals.
