Blue Peacock was abruptly awakened by the falling snowflakes. The cold touch of the snowflakes on her skin sent a shiver down her spine. She immediately stood up and said, "Who is it? Do you know who I am? How dare you treat Blue Peacock, the most beautiful fairy in the Ye Luoli Fairy Realm, like this? Are you tired of living?"
"Oh, really? Even your master, Chen Sisi, isn't allowed?" Chen Sisi's icy tone sent chills down everyone's spine.
"My master Chen Sisi? Oh, right, I found a human master yesterday. Of course not, my master is certainly capable." The blue peacock said with a puzzled look, then with certainty. As soon as she looked up, she saw Chen Sisi staring at her angrily.
Chen Sisi asked Blue Peacock in an icy tone, "Why did they turn out like this?" Her delicate face was now contorted with anger, and she shouted shrilly, "Blue Peacock, explain yourself! What happened? Why did I wake up as you, Blue Peacock, while you became me?"
"Master..." Blue Peacock was frightened by Chen Sisi's anger and didn't know how to answer for a moment.
"Don't call me master! Tell me, what exactly happened?" Chen Sisi's eyes widened in anger, her hands clenched into fists.
After hearing this, the blue peacock slowly twisted its body, as if sensing its current human form. A slight, almost imperceptible smug smile appeared on its lips as it said, "Oh, my dear human master, I don't know either. I just woke up like this." With that, the blue peacock, wearing Chen Sisi's face, feigned innocence.
Chen Sisi trembled with rage. Her eyes widened as she commanded in her capacity as master, "Blue Peacock, I don't care! You must find a way to restore us to normal right now, or I won't let you off the hook!"
Blue Peacock was secretly delighted. She learned from Chen Sisi that their souls had been swapped, and she had become "Chen Sisi," while Chen Sisi had become "Blue Peacock."
She thought to herself that she had finally returned to normal human size and had even become her human master, "Chen Sisi," which felt absolutely wonderful. She didn't take Chen Sisi's words to heart at all, thinking they were no problem at all.
She replied casually, "Okay, okay, I'll figure something out." Her tone was full of perfunctory and disdain, as if this was a trivial matter to her, not worth spending too much effort to resolve.
The truth is, he has no way, and doesn't want to, find a way. Being human feels great, even without magic, but Chen Sisi's family is extremely wealthy; she's a true heiress. Why should he try to change that? Things are fine as they are now, but he still needs to be polite and understanding. What if she reverts to her old self someday? He still needs to try and please her.
Chen Sisi, being raised in a wealthy family, could easily tell that Lan Kongque was being perfunctory. But at this moment, she had no choice but to settle for second best and plead, "Lan Kongque, even if you don't want to find a way to recover, please at least put on your school uniform and take me to school. My mom will scold me if I don't go to school. Also, please don't cause any trouble at school."
Hearing Chen Sisi's request, Blue Peacock felt even more smug. She thought to herself, "You dare order me around like a master? In the end, you're just asking me for favors." She pretended to agree, but Chen Sisi saw right through her smugness. Chen Sisi could only suppress her anger, thinking, "I'll get rid of you after school and let you be so smug."
The two of them, each with a doll, arrived at school. Blue Peacock completely forgot Chen Sisi's instructions. She swaggered into the classroom, and upon seeing the surprised looks on her classmates' faces, a strange sense of satisfaction welled up inside her; she was indeed "the most beautiful one after becoming Chen Sisi."
"Chen Sisi, why are you acting so strangely today? You're so late, class is almost here," a classmate asked curiously.
The blue peacock, resembling Chen Sisi, rolled her eyes at him and said, "Mind your own business!"
Just as "Chen Sisi" finished speaking, the bell rang, and the teacher entered the classroom to begin the lesson. Blue Peacock, however, had no interest in listening. She kept flipping through her textbook, secretly looking in the mirror, and whispering to the student next to her.
Chen Sisi, hiding in her schoolbag, could only stomp her feet in frustration. Unable to bear it any longer, she used her invisibility spell to repeatedly try and wink at Blue Peacock, but Blue Peacock ignored her. The teacher noticed Blue Peacock's unusual behavior and called on her to answer a question.
Blue Peacock stood up, looking completely bewildered, having no idea what the teacher was asking. Chen Sisi quickly whispered a hint, but Blue Peacock's answer was still nonsensical, causing the whole class to burst into laughter.
The teacher said angrily, "Chen Sisi, what's wrong with you today? You're not paying attention in class!"
The blue peacock said nonchalantly, "Hmph, that's just how I am, what can you do to me?"
The teacher's face turned ashen with anger. She said, "Oh, really? I can't do anything to you, but your parents can. Also, you'll stay after school to clean the classroom!"
Chen Sisi inwardly groaned. She knew she was in big trouble now; her mother would be furious. Blue Peacock, you…
Finally, get out of class ended, and Chen Sisi quickly pulled Lan Kongque aside, whispering, "Lan Kongque, can't you behave yourself? You're going to get me killed like this."
Blue Peacock, however, said dismissively, "What's there to be afraid of? Anyway, I'm Chen Sisi now, and I can do whatever I want."
Chen Sisi was so angry that tears welled up in her eyes. She said, "You've gone too far! If my reputation is ruined because of you, I will never let you get away with this!"
Blue Peacock then realized that her behavior had gone too far. She lowered her head and whispered, "Master, I know I was wrong. I will be more careful next time."
