Chapter 30 Snatching the Doll Box 1

Time flies like an arrow; like sand in an hourglass, it slips silently away from us. Every minute, every second flows ceaselessly, unstoppable and irreversible. In this fleeting time, countless stories unfold, and countless destinies intertwine.

In the blink of an eye, a day had passed; during this time, Zina's heart had undergone a tremendous storm. Ever since she realized the cruel rules of the system—that she would be eliminated if she did not complete the task—and that the generous rewards promised by the system were probably just a tempting trap, her state of mind had changed dramatically.

Therefore, Qi Na decided to stop blindly following the system's instructions. For tasks clearly beyond her capabilities, especially those involving Xin Ling and Mandora's storyline, she resolutely chose to shirk responsibility. For example, witnessing Wen Qian and Fairy Xin Ling's mutual dislike at the doll sign-in shop, or helping Hei Xiangling and Feng Yinsha escape Mandora's control. These tasks were simply impossible for the currently weak Qi Na.

Currently, Qi Na lacks powerful cards and items, and her own fairy power is extremely weak. Under such unfavorable circumstances, rashly undertaking these tasks would undoubtedly be tantamount to suicide. Therefore, when the system asked her why she wasn't completing the tasks, Qi Na fearlessly retorted in her mind: "Do you want me to die? I don't have any powerful items or cards, and my fairy power is insufficient, so I can only complete the tasks secretly in the shadows."

Anyway, I'm not going to my death. Go ahead and punish me if you dare! Oh, you didn't tell me how to bind to the system before. I guess it's a default soul-binding system. System, guess what? Can you still exist without me?

Qi Na's words were like a bombshell, causing a huge uproar in the system's world. The system was initially very surprised, perhaps never expecting that this seemingly weak host would have such courage and insight.

However, after a brief moment of surprise, the system vanished without a trace, just like before. It didn't press Zina on how she knew these secrets, perhaps intimidated by her imposing presence, or perhaps reassessing its relationship with her.

On Qi Na's side, after successfully driving away the system, she didn't feel any relief. She knew that this was only temporary peace, and the system could return at any time with even more forceful methods and more demanding tasks. But at least for now, she had gained a brief respite.

After that, the system disappeared, with only a system panel indicating that tasks would be updated the next day. Thus, Qi Na and Fei Ling resumed their seemingly ordinary lives, going to school and practicing magic every day. However, the amount of immortal energy in the human world was extremely low, and the accumulation of immortal energy was slow. Qi Na knew very well that at this rate, she didn't know when she would have enough strength to deal with the challenges the system might pose.

Because her celestial power was insufficient, Qi Na longed to travel to the Celestial Realm to cultivate. In her imagination, the abundant celestial power there would surely allow her strength to advance by leaps and bounds. However, without the doll box, this wish remained like a castle in the air, something she could only dream of but never reach.

That day, Qi Na and Fei Ling walked to school as usual. The sunlight shone on them, but it couldn't dispel the gloom in Qi Na's heart.

"Feiling, I'm so anxious. When will I ever get stronger?" Qi Na said, kicking at a pebble by the roadside with her head down.

Fei Ling flew lightly beside her, comforting her in a gentle tone: "Master, don't be discouraged, we will definitely find a way. As long as we don't give up, we will always find a way to solve the problem."

Qi Na sighed helplessly, a hint of frustration in her eyes: "But what can we do? I'm really worried that if we meet those real Ye Luoli warriors in the future and we're still so weak and powerless, will they look down on us..."

Feiling gently flew up and encouraged her, saying, "Master, don't think like that. Everyone has their own growth process, and we will gradually become stronger. Moreover, true friendship will not change because of the difference in strength."

Zina was silent for a moment, then suddenly raised her head, a determined light flashing in her eyes: "No, Feiling, we can't just sit here and wait to die. We must take action and make ourselves stronger."

Fei Ling asked curiously, "So what does Master plan to do?"

Qi Na gritted her teeth and said resolutely, "Let's steal a doll box! Only by owning our own doll box can we go to Fairyland and find more power and opportunities." As for why Qi Na wanted to steal Wang Mo's box, it was because a new task had been posted on the system panel: "Obtain Wang Mo's doll box and you'll receive 2 chances to draw a prize."

Upon hearing the suggestion, Fei Ling hesitated for a moment, but quickly understood Zi Na's determination. She nodded in support: "Master is right, we do need a doll box. But the question is, whose box should we steal?"

Qi Na frowned, thought for a moment, and then said, "Let me think... Wang Mo and Chen Sisi are both real Ye Luoli warriors. We can steal Wang Mo's box, because it's easy to do so if she says so. We'll do it after school."

When she arrived at school, Qi Na sat in the classroom, her eyes vacant, her mind completely elsewhere. The teacher lectured enthusiastically, vividly describing the textbook's content, but Qi Na's mind was preoccupied with how to easily obtain the doll box. She considered all possible scenarios and corresponding strategies, her mind a jumbled mess that she couldn't unravel.

"Qina, you answer this question." The teacher suddenly called on her. The voice was exceptionally loud in the quiet classroom, like a thunderclap in Qi Na's ears.

Qi Na snapped back to reality, hurriedly stood up, but couldn't utter a single word. Her face instantly flushed red, and her heart pounded. All her classmates stared at her, their eyes filled with schadenfreude. Some couldn't help but whisper, while others covered their mouths and snickered, making Qi Na feel incredibly embarrassed. She wished she could disappear into the ground to escape their mocking gazes.

Finally, school was over, and Qi Na and Fei Ling hurriedly left. The setting sun cast its glow upon them, but it couldn't warm Qi Na's anxious heart. Qi Na walked quickly, her heart filled with anxiety and anticipation. Fei Ling followed beside her, flapping her wings, and whispered, "Master, do we really have to do this?" Qi Na didn't answer, but quickened her pace, as if she had made up her mind to get that doll box no matter what.

"Let's go, Feiling, let's follow Wang Mo and get her doll box," Qi Na said to Feiling.
