Chapter 39.

"Yay! We won! Master is so cool!" The dolls cheered excitedly, their clear voices echoing in the air like silver bells. They danced with joy, their faces beaming with barely suppressed excitement, their eyes sparkling with happiness like the brightest stars in the night sky. That joyful atmosphere permeated the surroundings, filling the entire space with vitality and life.

However, at that moment, the ever-observant Chen Sisi suddenly noticed a mirror lying quietly on the ground. The mirror shimmered faintly in the sunlight, like a mysterious treasure beckoning a brave explorer. This light instantly ignited a strong curiosity within her, as if an invisible hand was gently tugging at her thoughts, leading her towards that unknown mystery.

Chen Sisi slowly approached the mirror, her steps light and cautious, as if afraid of disturbing some mysterious being. Each step was a tentative, tentative one, as if she were stepping into a sacred and inviolable realm. She bent down, extended her slender fingers, and gently picked up the mirror, as if holding a precious treasure. The mirror seemed to come alive in her hands, radiating a mysterious aura.

Her gaze was fixed on the surface of the mirror, her eyes filled with focus and exploration. The mirror reflected her beautiful face and clear eyes—a pure and captivating beauty, like the first rays of morning sunlight on a delicate flower. But gradually, her expression changed to surprise, as if she were seeing a completely unfamiliar world.

“This mirror…” Chen Sisi murmured softly, her voice as gentle as a breeze rustling through leaves. Her tender voice floated in the air, like a melodious tune, captivating all who heard it. Her gaze was fixed on the reflection in the mirror, which seemed to connect to another world.

A magnificent palace quietly appeared in the mirror, like a breathtaking ancient scroll slowly unfolding. The palace's unique ancient court style exuded an indescribable mysterious charm, while also radiating an awe-inspiring aura of majesty.

The palace's main structure is solid and solemn, paved with massive stone slabs that seem to bear the weight of time and history. Each slab is smooth and even, radiating a subtle sheen, as if telling stories of what once unfolded within its walls. Above these slabs lies a yellow carpet with exquisite patterns. The carpet is soft, vibrant in color, and its patterns are delicate and intricate, featuring winding vines, vibrant flowers, and mysterious runes. These patterns appear as if painted with magic by a master craftsman, exuding a mystical aura. When one walks on the carpet, one feels a warm and comfortable sensation, as if enveloped by a mysterious power.

In the center of the palace hall stood a massive red throne. Towering high like a majestic mountain, it exuded a powerful sense of oppression. The throne's vibrant color was dazzling; its smooth, mirror-like red lacquer shimmered with a mysterious light. It was adorned with exquisite carvings of majestic mythical beasts, vibrant flowers, and enigmatic runes. These lifelike figures seemed poised to leap from the throne at any moment. The throne was inlaid with countless precious gems, their colors dazzling: red rubies, blue sapphires, green emeralds, and more. Each gem emanated a powerful magical aura, as if testifying to the palace's splendor and glory.

Behind the throne stood a colossal magical mirror. Tall and wide, it resembled a gateway to a mystical world. The mirror's frame was crafted from exquisite metal, engraved with intricate patterns and runes, radiating an ancient and powerful magical aura. A mysterious light shimmered within the mirror, flickering as if peering into the entire fairyland.

Seeing this, Lori couldn't help but sneer. A hint of disdain appeared on her delicate face, her eyes filled with sarcasm and contempt. "Hmph, how could Hei Xiangling choose such a dark master? She's even being manipulated by the Queen; she's practically a traitor to our side!" Her tone was filled with anger and dissatisfaction, as if she was utterly disappointed by Hei Xiangling's choice. Lori's eyes gleamed with unwavering determination; she despised Hei Xiangling's actions, believing she had betrayed everyone's trust.

While admiring herself in the mirror, Blue Peacock smugly chimed in, "Yes, yes, her master is so ugly after transforming, a world of difference compared to our master!" A smirk played on her lips, a glint of triumph in her eyes. She swayed her magnificent skirt gently, as if displaying her beauty and nobility. Blue Peacock's eyes were filled with confidence and pride; she believed her master was the best, while Black Fragrant Ling's master was the epitome of ugliness and evil.

Hearing their conversation, Jasmine frowned, a hint of displeasure appearing on her gentle face. "Alright, Lori, Peacock, stop talking. Hei Xiangling is, after all, our sister. Perhaps she had her own reasons for being forced to make that choice." Her voice held a trace of helplessness and regret, as if she were heartbroken for Hei Xiangling's plight. Jasmine's eyes were filled with kindness and understanding; she believed that Hei Xiangling might have been threatened and controlled by the Queen, forcing her to make that choice.

“Yes, yes, maybe we’ll run into them again in the future,” Liangcai chimed in cheerfully. Her lively personality always brought warmth and hope to others. Liangcai’s eyes were full of anticipation and optimism; she believed that she would have another chance to meet Hei Xiangling and help her escape the Queen’s control.
