Chapter 41 Seeing the King of Ginkgo Trees Again

---------

Standing once more by the crystal-clear stream, the water, like a transparent ribbon, shimmered with silver light under the sun. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking: rolling green hills, lush trees, and wildflowers swaying gently in the breeze, releasing their fragrance. Indeed, the fresh air of the countryside instantly lifted her spirits. Qi Na squinted her eyes slightly, took a deep breath, and savored the earthy and grassy scent of the air, her heart filled with contentment and tranquility.

She stood quietly by the stream, the grass beneath her feet soft and comfortable. Qi Na gracefully posed and said to Fei Ling, who was engrossed in her phone, "Fei Ling, stop playing around and take some pictures of me." Her voice was clear and melodious, like a mountain spring flowing through the air.

"Ah, oh, wait a minute, Master." Hearing Qi Na's call, Fei Ling reluctantly put down her phone and looked up. Her gaze fell on Qi Na, a hint of amazement flashing in her eyes. Qi Na's outfit today was absolutely stunning. The white chiffon blouse with floral patterns was light and airy, and the light red skirt with a white butterfly pattern added a touch of liveliness and sweetness. The delicate floral lace trim at the hem of the skirt swayed gently in the breeze, like blooming flowers. Her shoulder-length curly hair was slightly tousled, adding a touch of playfulness and style to Qi Na. White socks paired with black leather shoes were simple yet elegant.

“Master, you look so beautiful today, it suits you so well. Come on, Master, look at the camera, say cheese!” As she spoke, Fei Ling carefully adjusted the angle, observing the scene intently, searching for the best shooting angle. She would sometimes crouch down, sometimes stand on tiptoe, completely focused on taking pictures of Qina. Once she felt it was right, she decisively pressed the button on her phone. The crisp shutter sound rang out, instantly capturing Qina's beautiful figure. For the next while, Fei Ling and Qina took pictures of each other, their laughter echoing along the stream. They struck cute poses one moment, and flashed radiant smiles the next, fully enjoying this wonderful time.

“Feiling, it’s getting late, we should get down to business. Feiling, form a contract. I, Qi Na, am willing to form a Ye Luoli contract with Feiling.” Qi Na spoke, solemnly extending her finger, her eyes filled with determination and anticipation. She knew the upcoming mission was crucial, and they had to give it their all. She waited quietly for Feiling’s response.

“Yes, Master, I, Fei Ling, am willing to form a Ye Luoli contract with Qi Na.” Fei Ling finished speaking and quickly extended her finger. In an instant, magical light flashed, dazzling and brilliant. Mysterious power surged in the air, as if countless elves were dancing joyfully. The light enveloped Qi Na and Fei Ling, and their figures gradually changed. Qi Na's transformation was complete; her posture was more upright, and her temperament more outstanding. A powerful magical aura emanated from her, leaving everyone in awe.

Feiling cast a spell, chanting, "Ye Luoli magic, with the power of plants, lead us to the Ginkgo Tree King." The magical light flashed again, dazzling and bright, enveloping Feiling and Qi Na. Within the light, their figures gradually blurred, as if merging into the embrace of nature. The surrounding plants seemed to sense the magic's call, swaying and guiding them.

A moment later, just as Zina's feet touched the ground and she hadn't even had time to steady herself, an attack from the vines formed from plants came crashing down on her. Zina's eyes sharpened; she didn't just stand by and watch the vines attack her. Instead, she immediately pulled out a tarot card from her purse. Without hesitation, she threw the tarot card at the vine in front of her, shouting, "Ye Luoli magic, unveil the mystery, sword sever the vine!" In an instant, the tarot card transformed into a sharp sword, radiating a dazzling light, and charged towards the massive vine. In a flash, the sword severed the vine. The severed vine fell to the ground and vanished in the blink of an eye.

"Ginkgo King, shall we continue? If so, I'll reconsider our deal." Qi Na finished speaking, her gaze fixed firmly on the giant tree before her. She knew the Ginkgo King's power was not to be underestimated, but she wouldn't back down easily.

"Hey, hey, hey, young friend, no, no, no! I was just testing if your magic has regressed. It seems you've come today to obtain the passage box to the Fairy Realm. So, when shall we depart for the Fairy Realm?" The Ginkgo Tree King's tone was initially nonchalant, but soon it seemed to remember something important, and its tone instantly became urgent. Its deep and powerful voice sounded like a profound call from ancient times. The Ginkgo Tree King knew very well the crucial significance of going to the Fairy Realm, and it had always longed to realize its strong desire to reach the Ye Luoli Fairy Realm as soon as possible.

"What's the rush? If you want to go to Fairyland, you'll have to become one of my cards first. Otherwise, I can't even lift a tree as big as you. Or, you could try other methods, like shrinking to the size of a potted plant. Besides, you need to choose the right time to go to Fairyland; it'll be safer when the Queen is in seclusion." Zina's reply was extremely cold. After all, she had come here with good intentions, only to be attacked by vines. Anyone would be upset in that situation.

"Yes, yes, so what? What's your decision?" Fei Ling responded just as coldly. Fei Ling secretly rejoiced; if her master hadn't reacted quickly, her fragile doll body might have already been injured. Of course, she wouldn't speak politely to someone who attacked her.
