Chapter 45 The Fleeing Fairy and Humans (shuhaige.net)

Fortunately, Lori, who was looking around, had sharp eyes and grabbed Wang Mo, narrowly avoiding the attack. Then, inexplicably, they were being relentlessly pursued by a group of soldiers.

Luo Li and Wang Mo haven't spent much time together, and their understanding isn't that deep yet, so Luo Li can't use many powerful spells and can only run around in a mess.

In their panic, they found themselves on the shore of the Clear Water Lake.

The Water Prince would often come to the shore to bask in the sun, thoroughly enjoying the tranquility of midday. The sunlight bathed him, as if draping him in a golden glow.

His peaceful world was shattered when he heard exclamations and hurried footsteps from not far away. The fairies of the fairy realm all knew he was not to be trifled with; aside from a few sprites and animals, few fairies dared to approach his territory.

Shui Qingli frowned slightly, her beautiful brows seeming to conceal endless worries.

He looked up, his mind filled with doubt. How could there be human presence? He thought about it carefully. How could humans appear in a fairyland?

The Water Prince sat quietly on the vine bridge, his eyes as deep as a lake. He saw a flash of pink pass by in the bushes, and then a girl with black hair and a pink dress led another fairy in a hasty escape to the shore of the Pure Water Lake.

Is that... Luo Li? She's changed so much, I almost don't recognize her. In the Water Prince's eyes, the pure fairy aura that once emanated from Luo Li was gradually being replaced by the aura of the human world. The girl beside her, with her fair and rosy skin, resembled a beautiful flower blooming in the human realm.

Wang Mo, panting, glanced up and saw Shui Qingli. Her flowing, light blue hair, her eyes as clear yet deep as lake water, and her blue crop top and bare feet were striking.

Wang Mo was stunned by his appearance, and a feeling of infatuation welled up inside her. "Oh my god... how can someone be so handsome? He must be the elf prince that Loli was talking about. I have to find a way to get to know him."

Lori, standing behind him, sensed the mirror beast's pursuit and was extremely anxious. She urged Wang Mo urgently, "Master, stop looking! The mirror beast is coming! Let's go!"

Just then, Wang Mo had a "good idea." She jumped directly into the clear water lake, completely disregarding the fact that she couldn't swim. Lori, seeing her owner jump into the water again, was frantic. But without hesitation, she followed suit.

In the still lake, Wang Mo severely underestimated herself. She flailed about in the water, panicked and completely clueless about how to keep herself from sinking. She tried desperately to breathe, but found that the more she tried, the deeper she sank, even choking on the water and feeling extremely uncomfortable.

Just then, the Water Prince saw that Wang Mo was about to suffocate and couldn't bear it. Without hesitation, he used his magic to extract his millennia-old power, his inner core, and handed it to Wang Mo. Wang Mo was overjoyed and grateful that she could now breathe freely in water after receiving the Water Prince's elixir.

After seeing the pursuers leave underwater, the Water Prince took Wang Mo's hand and swam towards the shore. That warm hand seemed to give Wang Mo endless strength. Once ashore, the Water Prince spoke: "Human girl, your blood-red skin is so beautiful… Go back! This is not a place for you." With that, the Water Prince walked straight into the water, his back view lonely yet resolute.

Wang Mo was still gazing longingly at the departing figure of the Water Prince, muttering to herself, "I still don't know your name." Lori had already arrived, and without saying a word, she led Wang Mo through their day trip to the Fairy Realm, back to their chosen location, and onto the return elevator. Finally, on the elevator, Wang Mo snapped out of her daze. She complained to Lori, "Why did you bring me back? I still want to see the Water Prince."

Lori coldly told Wang Mo, "If you want the Queen to catch you and turn you into a stone statue, then go back." Upon hearing this, Wang Mo obediently followed behind Lori and went home through the spatial passage.
