Chapter 52 Going Home

Zina, with Feiling in tow, slowly and deliberately cast her spells, leisurely returning home. As soon as they entered, they saw their grandmother sitting quietly in the living room. The night outside was as dark as ink, and the pale moonlight streamed through the window, casting a tranquil atmosphere on the living room floor.

Qi Na's heart tightened slightly, and she instinctively wanted to avoid her, but when she checked the time, she realized it was indeed quite late. After a moment's thought, she finally decided to face her grandmother directly, choosing not to hide, and walked straight over to her.

"Grandma, I'm home. Have you eaten?" Qi Na's voice was cautious, tinged with a hint of trepidation. The living room light was dim, illuminating her grandmother's concerned face.

“Nana, you’ve been coming home very late lately. Grandma knows you’re growing up and have your own thoughts. But you’re still so young, and if you get lost outside, Grandma will worry terribly. Promise Grandma you’ll come home earlier from now on, okay?” Grandma Qi’s voice was full of worry, and her eyes revealed deep concern. The night wind blew, and the leaves outside the window rustled, as if they too were sighing for this worry.

Upon hearing her grandmother's words, Qi Na's eyes instantly welled up with tears. She realized then that she had completely forgotten that her grandmother was still waiting for her at home. It turned out that there was always someone in this family who cared about her and was waiting for her to come home. She secretly resolved never to let that profound waiting go to waste.

So, filled with remorse, Zina said to her grandmother, "Grandma, I'm sorry. I was so engrossed in playing outside lately that I forgot the time and didn't come home early. I promise you, I will never do it again."

"Okay, okay, Grandma will keep an eye on Nana and see if you keep your word. Now, let's go wash our hands and eat!" Grandma Qi Na's face showed a relieved smile.

After dinner, Qi Na sat quietly on her stool, diligently completing her homework. The only sound in the room was the scratching of her pen on the paper. As she wrote, she said to Fei Ling, who was playing on her phone, "Fei Ling, do you know how to break the seal on the gate?"

"Hmm? How to break the seal on the gate? I don't know. Fairy Xinling didn't tell me, so I'm not sure. What's wrong?" Fei Ling slowly looked up from her phone and at Qi Na, who was doing her homework, her face full of confusion.

Qi Na frowned slightly and told Fei Ling with a solemn expression, "Fei Ling, you must understand that it will not be long before the gate that seals the human world and the fairyland is very likely to be opened."

Think about it carefully. The key to sealing the gate lies in the magical power of the six fairies. And you, although you are a man-made, fake fairy, a substitute for the sixth fairy, you absolutely play a crucial role at this critical moment.

Now that Lori and Blue Peacock have been captured, it's only a matter of time before they reveal the method to break the seal under the constant pressure from the evil Queen Mandora. Once they know the method, the human world and the fairy realm will be plunged into a tremendous crisis, with unimaginable consequences.

Upon hearing this, Fei Ling's eyes revealed deep worry. "Master, what should we do? I really don't want to be separated from you. After all, we've just started having some happy times together. Besides, I'm a fake fairy, and my soul fragments will eventually return to Fairy Xin Ling's body. Just thinking about it fills me with fear."

"What should we do?" Fei Ling's heart was in turmoil. She was afraid of the impending crisis and worried about her and Qi Na's fate. She didn't want to leave Qi Na and didn't want to fall into endless darkness and loneliness again.

Zina gently grasped Feiling's hand, her eyes filled with determination. She slowly said, "Feiling, don't be afraid. After all, the soul fragments aren't entirely yours. It's good to return them, isn't it? Think about it, it's always been like a hidden burden, constantly reminding you to remember your mission."

While this mission gave you meaning, it also placed immense pressure on you. That fragment of your soul felt like a ticking time bomb, threatening to unleash unknown dangers at any moment. You shouldn't have been bound by such a thing. Returning it allows us to find a new path, new hope, together.

In the future, I will definitely give you life again, and by then, you may not need to rely on fragments of someone else's soul to gain life. I will do everything in my power to find a new method, and even if it involves countless hardships, I will never back down. I will traverse every corner to explore those mysterious powers, just so that you can truly and independently live in this world, without any worries.

“Yes, Master, I believe in you. Fate can definitely be broken,” Fei Ling said firmly, her eyes shining with hope for the future and trust in Qi Na. She knew that Qi Na had always been working hard for her and fighting for their friendship.

She believed that Zina had the ability to change their destiny and create a bright future for them. That trust, like brilliant starlight, illuminated their path forward. Feiling secretly resolved to work even harder herself, to face the challenges of the future alongside Zina.

"Oh, right, we might have to prepare to meet those Ye Luoli warriors. After Mandora extracted Loli and Blue Peacock's fairy power, they became ordinary dolls, and their owners also returned to being ordinary humans. Mandora definitely won't let them go; she'll use all sorts of coercion and enticement to try and get them to reveal the whereabouts of the sixth fairy."

"At that time, the kind-hearted Fairy Xinling will surely summon us, using us as shields, and at the same time, have us protect their safety."
