The next day.
Inside the Ye Luoli doll shop, the atmosphere was heavy and solemn. Fairy Xinling stood in the center of the shop, her expression grave, her heart filled with worry and determination. She knew she had to keep her promise to Mandora and summon the sixth fairy who already had a master. If Mandora fulfilled the conditions for the seal and opened that mysterious door, the human world would surely be plunged into a state of utter devastation. Fortunately, she had already made a plan, and those fairies she regarded as pawns had to obey. "Ye Luoli magic, through the power of the contract, summons you to the Ye Luoli doll shop." As Fairy Xinling's incantation rang out, the magical light shone brightly, instantly transforming into countless beautiful petals that fluttered and drifted into the distance.
In the classroom of Class 1, Grade 5 at Elite Future Elementary School, Fei Ling, as usual, was engrossed in playing a game on Qi Na's phone. Suddenly, as if sensing some mysterious force, she abruptly stopped what she was doing and quickly turned off the phone. Then, Fei Ling cast a spell, gracefully flying out of her schoolbag and landing steadily in front of the classroom window. She gazed quietly into the distance, her eyes filled with anticipation and unease, as if waiting for something important to happen. Not far away, the magical petals seemed to come alive, as if they had found their owner, and quickly flew towards Fei Ling. Soon, the petals landed on Fei Ling, instantly transforming into sounds that conveyed an important message.
At this moment, Qi Na was immersed in her books, diligently reviewing almost forgotten elementary school knowledge points while also memorizing English vocabulary. For Qi Na, the elementary school environment was utterly monotonous, with nothing fun to do, and she had long been bored. Fei Ling's commotion quickly attracted Qi Na's attention. During the break, Qi Na looked around to make sure no one was watching, then quietly asked Fei Ling, "Fei Ling, what's with these petals? Are they sending a message? Who sent them?" Actually, Qi Na knew perfectly well that the message these petals were carrying must be from Fairy Xin Ling. She wanted her and Fei Ling to be bodyguards for the Ye Luoli warriors, almost 24/7. Qi Na was extremely dissatisfied with this; why should she be treated like a nanny, losing her freedom?
"Master, it's Fairy Xinling. She wants us to go to the Ye Luoli doll shop to see her." Fei Ling thought for a moment, then honestly told Qi Na. Over this time, Fei Ling had clearly known that her master disliked Fairy Xinling, and she herself actually harbored some resentment towards her. However, there was nothing she could do; after all, Fairy Xinling had created her, and she couldn't disobey her wishes.
Qi Na frowned slightly and sighed softly, saying, "Sigh, it's Fairy Xinling again. She always summons us so suddenly. Fei Ling, can't we have any time for ourselves?" Fei Ling flew to Qi Na's shoulder and gently tugged at her hair with her little hand, saying, "Master, I don't want to be summoned so casually either, but we have no choice. Fairy Xinling created me, and we can't disobey her orders." Qi Na pouted helplessly and said, "Alright, then we'll go see her after school. Hopefully, there won't be any trouble this time."
"Oh, Feiling, do you have a way to use magic to send a message back to the shopkeeper saying that we don't have time? Just tell us what's wrong with flower petals, I still have homework to do." Zina said to Feiling in a calm tone.
"I'm sorry, Master, I don't know this spell. Besides, Fairy Xinling just cast a one-way notification spell, so it can't be sent back." Feiling said to Qina with a look of guilt on her face.
Qi Na patted Fei Ling's head and said, "It's okay, Fei Ling, it's not your fault. Let's go check on her after school."
On the surface, Qi Na said to Fei Ling, "It's okay, we'll go to the doll shop to meet Fairy Xin Ling after school." However, in her heart, for the first time, she felt a slight disdain for this fake Ye Luoli fairy. She thought Fei Ling couldn't do anything, so what use was she? Seeing other fairies who knew a little bit of everything, while her own fairy had nothing, Qi Na couldn't help but feel a little unbalanced. However, Qi Na quickly remembered some of Fei Ling's advantages, such as Fei Ling allowing her to use magic sometimes without forming a contract, like divination, maintaining confidence, and changing her appearance. Thinking of these things, the little bit of dissatisfaction in Qi Na's heart gradually disappeared. After all, having a doll is better than having none.
The school bell rang crisply, signaling the end of the school term. Like cheerful little birds, the elementary school students quickly packed their things, preparing to go home to watch their favorite cartoons or buy snacks at the corner store. Qi Na, like most of those around her, neatly placed her books, homework, and pens into her schoolbag and left the classroom. With Fei Ling on her shoulder, Qi Na strolled slowly out of the school, towards the Ye Luoli doll shop, bathed in the setting sun. She thought to herself, "Why the rush? Is she trying to show off how obedient she is? But being obedient doesn't bring any benefits."
Seeing Qi Na's somewhat reluctant expression, Fei Ling said softly, "Master, why don't we not go? Anyway, Fairy Xin Ling can't do anything to us." Qi Na shook her head and said, "No, Fei Ling. Although I don't want to go either, if we don't go, something even more troublesome might happen. Let's go and see; maybe we'll be back soon."
No matter how much Qi Na deliberately dawdled, they eventually stood in front of the doll shop. Without much thought, Qi Na led Fei Ling straight into the shop. When they were a few meters away from Fairy Xin Ling's workbench, Qi Na stopped. She was about to speak when Fairy Xin Ling interrupted her.
